On Tuesday, there are a handful of games on the basketball television schedule that we have circled that should be good ones. Check out our NBA picks for Tuesday!

NBA Matchup: Sacramento Kings @ Golden State Warriors
Date: Tuesday, January 31st, 10:35 ET
Location: Oracle Arena, San Francisco, CA
NBA Betting Odds: Golden State -7.5
NBA TV Schedule: Comcast Sports

When we look at the Kings and the Warriors, we largely see the same two teams on the court. We see teams that don’t really play all that much defense and do a lot of running. The Kings have been dreadful on the road this year at just 2-10 SU, but we do see some hope for this one. Maybe we won’t quite get the upset, but just sticking within a half dozen or so is good enough for us.

NBA Pick: Sacramento +7.5

NBA Matchup: Denver Nuggets @ Memphis Grizzlies
Date: Tuesday, January 31st, 8:00 ET
Location: FedEx Forum, Memphis, TN
NBA Betting Odds: Denver -1.5
NBA TV Schedule: Altitude, NBA TV

This Denver team is one that we love to back this year, especially when playing against these teams that are playing back to backs. The Grizz are on a back to back tonight, and they are coming off of a brutal loss to the Spurs last night. The Nuggets had a day off yesterday, and especially if they end up getting back Ty Lawson tonight, all the better. Denver is going to get the job done on the road once again, building up this ridiculous 22-5 ATS streak on the road.

NBA Pick: Denver -1.5

Tuesday night’s college hoops schedule is posted at Cappers Info, and we are taking a close look at some of the best games on the slate and making our NCAA basketball picks for the duels ahead.

College Basketball Matchup: Michigan State Spartans @ Illinois Fighting Illini
Date: Tuesday, January 31st, 7:00 ET
Location: Assembly Hall, Champaign, IL
College Basketball Odds: Michigan State -3
College Basketball TV Schedule: ESPN, ESPN3.com

It has been awhile since the Spartans have been in any real trouble in a game, but this is one of these cases where we can see some issues. Illinois has been great this year at Assembly Hall, losing just once all season. Though we know that the team has some issues, we do think that it is good enough to get the job done in this game, which is suddenly becoming important with a slew of teams sitting on or near the bubble that are trying to get into the dance.

NCAA Basketball Pick: Illinois +3

College Basketball Matchup: Clemson Tigers @ Virginia Cavaliers
Date: Tuesday, January 31st, 7:00 ET
Location: John Paul Jones Arena, Charlottesville, VA
College Basketball Odds: Virginia -8
College Basketball TV Schedule: ESPN2, ESPN3.com

If you’re looking for the definition of ugly, this is going to be the game of the night for you. Clemson can’t stay out of its own way for the most part, and it is just 2-9 ATS in its last 11 games overall. Still, we think that the time is here to start fading the Cavs. They lost outright to V-Tech a week and a half ago, didn’t cover BC, and really probably should have lost at NC State. The oddsmakers are starting to catch up.

NCAA Basketball Pick: Clemson +8

College Basketball Matchup: Vanderbilt Commodores @ Arkansas Razorbacks
Date: Tuesday, January 31st, 9:00 ET
Location: Bud Walton Arena, Fayetteville, AR
College Basketball Odds: Vanderbilt -2.5
College Basketball TV Schedule: ESPN, ESPN3.com

The Commodores have been a tremendous squad on the road this year, but the Hogs have been amazing at home. The end result is probably going to be a great game between two solid teams. The difference here is that Vandy knows that it is in great shape and really doesn’t get hurt all that much by a loss. Arkansas though, really needs as many wins as it can get if it wants to get into the March Madness discussions. Though the ‘Dores are the better team, we do think that the Razorbacks are going to eke out a victory.

NCAA Basketball Pick: Arkansas +2.5

It’s time to tip off another great day of NBA betting action here at Cappers Info, and we are set to make our free basketball picks for some of the best games on the docket on Monday, 1/30/12.

NBA Matchup: Chicago Bulls @ Washington Wizards
Date: Monday, January 30th, 8:00 ET
Location: Verizon Center, Washington DC
NBA Betting Odds: Chicago -9
NBA TV Schedule: NBA TV

The Bulls absolutely blasted the Wizards when these two teams met in their first go around, but there are definitely some major differences between those teams then and now. It is true that Washington has turned a corner and picked up some more offense without Flip Saunders calling the shots. However, in the end, this is still a team that isn’t all that talented. Chicago might be without Richard Hamilton and/or Luol Deng on Monday, but it won’t matter due to the fact that Derrick Rose will be back. Rose sat out of the first clash of these teams. He’ll make the difference on Monday night, as the Bulls come up with a double digit victory.

NBA Pick: Chicago -9

NBA Matchup: Oklahoma City Thunder @ Los Angeles Clippers
Date: Monday, January 30th, 10:30 ET
Location: Staples Center, Los Angeles, CA
NBA Betting Odds: Oklahoma City -2.5
NBA TV Schedule: NBA TV

The Clippers have played two great games in a row since losing to the Lakers here at Staples Center, and this is a great chance for them to get the job done against arguably the best team in the league. Perhaps in a different scheduling spot, we would think that Oklahoma City would be the pick against this short spread. However, this is the middle of an absolutely brutal stretch for the Thunder. They are hot right now, having lost just once in the last 10 games, but they are due for a bad one. Kevin Durant isn’t going to score 20+ in every single game, and Russell Westbrook isn’t going to be at his best every night either. We can’t say that this is the game that all of that will happen, but we do think that Lob City will get the job done on the national scene once again.

NBA Pick: Los Angeles +2.5

On Monday, there are a handful of games on the college basketball television schedule that we have circled that should be good ones. Check out our NCAA basketball picks for Monday!

College Basketball Matchup: Pittsburgh Panthers @ West Virginia Mountaineers
Date: Monday, January 30th, 7:00 ET
Location: WVU Arena, Morgantown, WV
College Basketball Odds: West Virginia -6.5
College Basketball TV Schedule: ESPN, ESPN3.com

The time is here to judge whether we think the Panthers are back on track or not. They were once a Top 10 team in the country this year before totally falling apart right at the end of the non-conference schedule, and they clearly have a tough game in front of them after two straight home wins. West Virginia is just two days removed from a crushing loss at Syracuse, one which really could have gone its way with some good fortune. We think that the Mountaineers might have a hard time getting back on track in this one, and the Panthers might be able to spring the upset on the road.

NCAA Basketball Pick: Pittsburgh +6.5

College Basketball Matchup: Missouri Tigers @ Texas Longhorns
Date: Monday, January 30th, 9:00 ET
Location: Frank Erwin Events Center, Austin, TX
College Basketball Odds: Missouri -1
College Basketball TV Schedule: ESPN, ESPN3.com

Big Monday finishes up with a great duel between Texas & Mizzou. The Tigers are clearly the better team in this one, but with the way that there have been upsets on the road in the Big XII this year, the oddsmakers aren’t taking anything for granted. Texas has been good this year at home, as it only has one blemish on its whole schedule here. However, with a lack of wins against big time teams, we just don’t see how the Longhorns would win this game SU anywhere near half the time. It will feel like a big upset if UT gets the job done. Back the ‘Zou, even on the road to survive another potentially brutal road test in conference play.

NCAA Basketball Pick: Missouri -1

Thursday night’s college hoops schedule is posted at Cappers Info, and we are taking a close look at some of the best games on the slate and making our NCAA basketball picks for the duels ahead.

College Basketball Matchup: NC State Wolfpack @ North Carolina Tar Heels
Date: Thursday, January 26th, 7:00 ET
Location: Dean Smith Center, Chapel Hill, NC
College Basketball Odds: North Carolina -13
College Basketball TV Schedule: ESPN, ESPN3.com

The Tar Heels are going to be playing without Dexter Strickland for the first time in this one, as he suffered a season-ending injury over the weekend against Virginia Tech. NC State, with Scott Wood jacking up threes from all over the court, can beat any team in this conference. This is a very veteran squad, and the Wolfpack know that they are going to need a win like this one eventually to make sure that their spot in the NCAA Tournament is ensured. We don’t know if this will be the day, but the Wolfpack will make a statement and at least push the Tar Heels to the brink in Chapel Hill.

NCAA Basketball Pick: NC State +13

College Basketball Matchup: Florida Gators @ Ole Miss Rebels
Date: Thursday, January 26th, 7:00 ET
Location: C.M. “Tad” Smith Coliseum, Oxford, MS
College Basketball Odds: Florida -6
College Basketball TV Schedule: ESPN2, ESPN3.com

We have seen the Gators trip on the road before, and in fact, they just won their first road game of the year a week ago against South Carolina. This Ole Miss team really isn’t all that great, but just really as is the case in football, road games in the SEC are never easy. We tend to think that the oddsmakers have overcompensated though, as UF is clearly the superior team and should be laying a lot closer to double digits in this one. We just don’t trust the Rebels even though we know that they were just able to take down Mississippi State and Georgia in back to back games.

NCAA Basketball Pick: Florida -6

College Basketball Matchup: Indiana Hoosiers @ Wisconsin Badgers
Date: Thursday, January 26th, 9:00 ET
Location: Kohl Center, Madison, WI
College Basketball Odds: Wisconsin -7
College Basketball TV Schedule: ESPN2, ESPN3.com

We really love this Indiana team, and we think that Head Coach Tom Crean has done a fantastic job with it over the years to get it back to solid ground in the Big Ten. Though the Badgers have proven that they can feed off of the Assembly Hall crowd, they haven’t proven that they can win games on the road yet this year. The Badgers are hot at the moment, and they are riding a winning streak after surprisingly opening up the conference campaign with two straight losses in this building. However, wins on the road against Illinois and Purdue have really sparked this club again. The Hoosiers have come a long way in a short period of time this year, but they aren’t ready to compete in Madison quite yet.

NCAA Basketball Pick: Wisconsin -7

It’s time to tip off another great day of NBA betting action here at Cappers Info, and we are set to make our free basketball picks for some of the best games on the docket on Thursday, 1/26/12.

NBA Matchup: Boston Celtics @ Orlando Magic
Date: Thursday, January 26th, 8:00 ET
Location: Amway Center, Orlando, FL
NBA Betting Odds: Orlando -8.5
NBA TV Schedule: TNT

The Magic were absolutely obliterated by the Celtics just three nights ago in Beantown. It was one of the worst games that they ever played in the history of the franchise, and it did set franchise lows for points in a game (56) and field goals made in a game (16). Shooting below 30.0 percent from the field just didn’t cut it, and the fact of the matter is that the only man that had any offense going whatsoever was Dwight Howard. Now, the two are back at it, and the assumption is being made the Boston is just going to get toasted by a Magic squad out for revenge. We’re really not all that sure. Though we don’t think much of the Celtics this year, we certainly don’t think all that much of Orlando either, and it seems like this is a heck of a lot of points to be laying in a series that has surprisingly given the edge to the road team more often than not.

NBA Pick: Boston +8.5

NBA Matchup: Memphis Grizzlies @ Los Angeles Clippers
Date: Thursday, January 26th, 10:30 ET
Location: Staples Center, Los Angeles, CA
NBA Betting Odds: Los Angeles -3.5
NBA TV Schedule: TNT

The Grizzlies have watched their winning streak go by the boards, and now, they are going to try to put forth a lot better effort playing at Lob City than they did at the Rose Garden against Portland two nights ago. The Clip Joint is coming off of a brutal loss “on the road” in this building against the Lakers in which Chris Paul looked horrible in his return to the lineup. There is a real question as to whether he is healthy or not. What we saw out of the Clips last night though, was a lot of spunk, and we think that that spunk is going to show yet again in what should amount to be a win by at least a half dozen on Thursday night.

NBA Pick: Los Angeles -3.5

On Wednesday, there are a handful of games on the college basketball television schedule that we have circled that should be good ones. Check out our NCAA basketball picks for Wednesday!

College Basketball Matchup: Missouri Tigers @ Oklahoma State Cowboys
Date: Wednesday, January 25th, 7:30 ET
Location: Gallagher Iba Arena, Stillwater, OK
College Basketball Odds: Missouri -8.5
College Basketball TV Schedule: ESPN2, ESPN3.com

Many recognize that Missouri is a tremendous team this year, but there has to be a real question as to whether it is really good enough to be considered the No. 2 team in the nation. Asking to lay double digits on the road in the Big XII is generally death, but in this case, we just don’t trust the Cowboys. Okie State is clearly one of the two worst teams in this conference along with Texas Tech, and the rest of the field is just head and shoulders ahead of it.

NCAA Basketball Pick: Missouri -8.5

College Basketball Matchup: Duke Blue Devils @ Maryland Terrapins
Date: Wednesday, January 25th, 9:00 ET
Location: Comcast Center, College Park, MD
College Basketball Odds: Duke -11
College Basketball TV Schedule: ESPN, ESPN3.com

Poor Maryland. The team had to take on Florida State right after it beat North Carolina, so the team was on a tremendous high, and now, it has to take on Duke right after losing to that same FSU team. The Terrapins can take over a game with Terrell Stoglin though, and he is going to be the most prolific scorer on the court. The Terps have had a good history of playing with the Dookies, and we tend to think that they are going to get the job done in this one and stick within double digits, though we just don’t see Duke losing two straight games SU at this point.

NCAA Basketball Pick: Maryland +11

College Basketball Matchup: Villanova Wildcats @ Louisville Cardinals
Date: Wednesday, January 25th, 7:00 ET
Location: KFC Yum! Arena, Louisville, KY
College Basketball Odds: Louisville -8
College Basketball TV Schedule: ESPN, ESPN3.com

We must apologize to Villanova in this one. The team has all of the talent in the world, but perhaps it is time for Head Coach Jay Wright to go. The Wildcats aren’t all that special, though they have won two in a row, and we think that they will fall right back towards the bottom of the conference when they take on a Louisville team that is badly trying to get back on track in conference play.

NCAA Basketball Pick: Louisville -8

On Wednesday, there are a handful of games on the basketball television schedule that we have circled that should be good ones. Check out our NBA picks for Wednesday!

NBA Matchup: New Jersey Nets @ Philadelphia 76ers
Date: Wednesday, January 25th, 7:05 ET
Location: Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia, PA
NBA Betting Odds: Philadelphia -11.5
NBA TV Schedule: Comcast Sports

The 76ers have really been slaughtering the teams that they are supposed to slaughter of late, but we have a real issue with this spread. The Nets were 13.5 point underdogs against the Chicago Bulls on the road two days ago in the second half of a back to back in two different cities. Now, they are getting 11.5 with a day of rest against the Sixers? You can’t possibly tell us that Philly is only two points worse than Chicago is, especially with all of the factors being taken into consideration of the extra off day. Philly was also only -13 against Washington at home two days ago. Again, no way that the Nets are only two points better than the worst team in the NBA.

NBA Pick: New Jersey +11.5

NBA Matchup: Indiana Pacers @ Chicago Bulls
Date: Wednesday, January 25th, 8:00 ET
Location: United Center, Chicago, IL
NBA Betting Odds: Chicago -9
NBA TV Schedule: Comcast Sports, NBA TV

It’s going to be an interesting fight for the Pacers on Wednesday night. If they can somehow find a way to win this game and prove that they can stick around against one of the best teams in the league, they will really be considered legitimate contenders this year. Chicago can definitely be had. Luol Deng is out, Taj Gibson is out, and who knows just how healthy Derrick Rose really is. If the Pacers are going to get the Bulls at any point this season, this is probably the time. Don’t be shocked if this turns out to be a tremendous game between two great teams.

NBA Pick: Indiana +9

Tuesday night’s college hoops schedule is posted at Cappers Info, and we are taking a close look at some of the best games on the slate and making our NCAA basketball picks for the duels ahead.

College Basketball Matchup: Kentucky Wildcats @ Georgia Bulldogs
Date: Tuesday, January 24th, 9:00 ET
Location: Stegeman Coliseum, Athens, GA
College Basketball Odds: Kentucky -12.5
College Basketball TV Schedule: ESPN, ESPN3.com

Tonight’s contest is Athens is the equivalent of the Super Bowl for the Bulldogs, who really would love to prove that they can play with some of the elite teams in the SEC. The problem is that they really have just gotten slaughtered by most of the best teams in this conference, and this is the biggest team of the bunch. Kentucky hasn’t been covering spreads this season, but a thin UGA team shouldn’t be sticking around with the power, size, strength, and just sheer athleticism that the Wildcats have to offer.

NCAA Basketball Pick: Kentucky -12.5

College Basketball Matchup: Michigan Wolverines @ Purdue Boilermakers
Date: Tuesday, January 24th, 7:00 ET
Location: Mackey Arena, West Lafayette, IN
College Basketball Odds: Purdue -4.5
College Basketball TV Schedule: ESPN, ESPN3.com

The Boilers are the one team this year that really haven’t figured out how to hold serve at home, as they have already been knocked off by Wisconsin here at Mackey Arena. Michigan, just like all of the rest of these Big Ten teams, has been winning at home and losing on the road, but we think that that might just flip on Tuesday night. Purdue is an overrated team, and stopping Robbie Hummel generally stops the Boilermakers as a whole. If Michigan’s defense, which is quietly one of the better units in the conference, can slow down the long range shooting for Purdue, the Wolverines might be able to pull off the upset.

NCAA Basketball Pick: Michigan+4.5

On Monday, there are a handful of games on the basketball television schedule that we have circled that should be good ones. Check out our NBA picks for Monday!

NBA Matchup: Phoenix Suns @ Dallas Mavericks
Date: Monday, January 23rd, 8:35 ET
Location: American Airlines Center, Dallas, TX

NBA Betting Odds: Dallas -6NBA TV Schedule: FOX Sports

The Suns are just trying to stay right around the .500 mark, while the Mavericks are going to try to survive this week without Dirk Nowitzki. It is going to be a tough game for sure, and points could be at a premium. If that’s the case, we’ll take the points in this one, as a confident set of Suns with two straight wins on the East Coast against good clubs could at least keep this one close.

NBA Pick: Phoenix +6

NBA Matchup: Memphis Grizzlies @ Golden State Warriors
Date: Monday, January 23rd, 10:30 ET
Location: Oracle Arena, San Francisco, CA

NBA Betting Odds: Golden State -1.5NBA TV Schedule: Comcast Sports, NBA TV

The Grizzlies are hot right now, having won six in a row. They’re coming off of their most impressive win of the year over the Sacramento Kings in which they scored a whopping 128 points. That being said, this one smells a little fishy with the Warriors as favorites. The home team has won seven in a row in this series, and that is going to be the case again in this one. With Stephen Curry back in the lineup, Golden State is a force to be reckoned with.

NBA Pick: Golden State -1.5
