NFL betting fans are running to their online sportsbooks to place their Dallas Cowboys vs. Atlanta Falcons bets and predictions, and here at Cappers Info, we are making our Sunday football picks for this encounter.

Week 9 Football Picks: Dallas Cowboys @ Atlanta Falcons
Date: Sunday, November 4th, 8:20 ET
Location: Georgia Dome, Atlanta, GA
NFL Betting Lines: Atlanta -3.5
Cowboys vs. Falcons On TV: NBC

The Falcons and the Cowboys are going to do battle on Football Night in America, and we are really questioning whether or not the oddsmakers know what they are doing with this one. There hasn’t been much in the way of problems for Atlanta, and there is just no reason to think that that is going to change on Sunday night. The implication here is that these two teams are going on basically level terms when you consider home field advantage, and that just doesn’t cut it for us. QB Matt Ryan is the better quarterback. WR Roddy White and WR Julio Jones make up the better receivers. RBs Michael Turner and RB Jacquizz Rodgers are better backs than whatever Dallas is going to throw out there with RB DeMarco Murray out. On top of that, QB Tony Romo has a history of turning the ball over at crucial times of the biggest games. If this is one of the biggest games of the year, and it is coming on national television, it only makes sense that Romo and the Cowboys are going to find some way to blow this one.

Cowboys @ Falcons Pick: Atlanta Falcons -3.5
Dallas @ Atlanta Score Prediction: Atlanta 28 – Dallas 20

The Carolina Panthers and the Washington Redskins are going to square off in Week 9 of the NFL betting campaign. Join us here at Cappers Info, as we make our predictions for football for what should be a great game on Sunday.

Week 9 NFL Picks: Carolina Panthers @ Washington Redskins
Date: Sunday, November 4th, 1:00 ET
Location: FedEx Field, Landover, MD
Week 9 Betting Odds: Washington -3.5
Panthers vs. Redskins Live TV: FOX

The Redskins haven’t had a heck of a lot of luck at home over the course of the last year and change, knowing that they have just one win here since Week 2 of the 2011 campaign. The Redskins have the better of the two records, but they might not have the better of the two teams. QB Robert Griffin III is having the better year of he and QB Cam Newton, but these two teams look really similar otherwise. Carolina’s defense is doing a significantly better job this year of the two as well, knowing that the Redskins are allowing over 28 points per game and have conceded at least 22 in all eight of their games this year. Carolina has come close over the course of the last few weeks, losing these last four games by a combined 12 points, and it just feels like that is going to be coming to a close when push comes to shove in this one. The Panthers should be able to come on the road and get the win, but if they don’t, we still have more than a field goal’s worth of an advantage to our name to get started.

Panthers @ Redskins Pick: Carolina Panthers +3.5
Panthers @ Redskins Score Prediction: Carolina 24 – Washington 23

NFL betting fans are running to their online sportsbooks to place their Arizona Cardinals vs. Green Bay Packers bets and predictions, and here at Cappers Info, we are making our Sunday football picks for this encounter.

Week 9 Football Picks: Arizona Cardinals @ Green Bay Packers
Date: Sunday, November 4th, 1:00 ET
Location: Lambeau Field, Green Bay, WI
NFL Betting Lines: Green Bay -11.5
Cardinals vs. Packers On TV: FOX

The Cardinals have a lot going again them in this game. They are going to have to come on the road for one of their longest road trips of the year to Green Bay, a place where visitors routinely get sent packing by large margins. They have lost four in a row and haven’t covered a game in five weeks, and they have an offense that is a mess going against an offense that is starting to get its stride. We still think that Arizona is in it though, knowing that its defense is still pretty awesome. This unit still hasn’t allowed more than 24 points in quite some time, and we make mention of that virtually every single week until it is a streak that stops. The Green Bay defense has played well of late as well, though its level of competition, save for the Houston Texans three weeks ago, really hasn’t been all that great. Don’t be shocked if the Cards find some way to hang around on Sunday afternoon at Lambeau.

Cardinals @ Packers Pick: Arizona Cardinals +11.5
Arizona @ Green Bay Score Prediction: Green Bay 23 – Arizona 14

The 2012 NFL schedule is back, and here at Cappers Info, we’ll be looking at some of the best games on the docket each and every week, as we try to make the most money possible off of the Week 9 odds for the NFL. Join us on Sunday, as we make our Buffalo Bills @ Houston Texans free picks and predictions for what should be a great clash on the gridiron.

Week 9 NFL Picks: Buffalo Bills @ Houston Texans
Date: Sunday, November 4th, 1:00 ET
Location: Reliant Stadium, Houston, TX
NFL Betting Odds: Houston -10
Bills @ Texans On TV: CBS

The Texans have had a great history of being the snot out of bad teams this year. They have victories of at least 20 points already this year against the Miami Dolphins, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, and Baltimore Ravens, and this figures to be another one of these games that has the potential to end in a brutal beating. The Bills have one of the worst defenses in the league, particularly against the rush, and the rested Texans have to be licking their chops at the idea of going against this unit. To make matters worse, Buffalo has been crippled by 42 by the San Francisco 49ers and 24 by the New England Patriots this year, and it has been beaten seven times by at least 16 points over the course of the last 16 games. This is a tough game, certainly tougher than the one against the New York Jets at the outset of the year which resulted in a 48-28 loss to an inept offensive club. It just doesn’t look good for the Bills to say the least.

Bills @ Texans Pick: Houston Texans -10
Bills @ Texans Score Prediction: Houston 31 – Buffalo 7

The Philadelphia 76ers and the New York Knicks are going to square off in a Sunday night NBA betting affair on November 4th. Join us here at Cappers Info, as we make our predictions for basketball for what should be a great game on Sunday.

NBA Predictions: Philadelphia 76ers @ New York Knicks
Date: Sunday, November 4th, 12:00 ET
Location: Madison Square Garden, New York, NY
NBA Betting Odds: New York -3
76ers vs. Knicks NBA TV Schedule: Comcast, MSG

Dating back the last two years, which amounts to 10 games between these two clubs, the Knicks and Sixers have played eight ‘under’ contests. The ‘total’ is relatively low in this one, but we think with Amare Stoudemire still out of the fold for the Knickerbockers, it is a slam dunk that this one is going to stay with 185 or so. The Sixers just held a fast paced Denver team to 75 points, and it historically does a great job of limiting possessions and shots. The Knicks too, are preaching more defense this year, and that really showed when the Heat were held to just 84 points on 33-of-71 shooting on Friday night in the opener at Madison Square Garden. The matchup just isn’t there for both of these teams to succeed offensively, and it feels like both teams are going to be struggling. As long as neither team gives up all that many free points at the foul line, something that both have historically done well since Doug Collins and Mike Woodson respectively have taken over for the 76ers and Knicks, this should be a plodding game with both teams in the 80s when push comes to shove.

76ers @ Knicks NBA Pick: Under 188.5
76ers @ Knicks Score Prediction: Knicks 89 – 76ers 87

The 2012 NFL season is back, and here at Cappers Info, we’ll be looking at some of the best games on the docket each and every week, as we try to make the most money possible off of the NFL odds for the week. Join us on Sunday, as we make our Pittsburgh Steelers @ New York Giants free picks and predictions for what should be a great clash on the gridiron.

Week 9 NFL Picks: Pittsburgh Steelers @ New York Giants
Date: Sunday, November 4th, 4:25 ET
Location: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ
NFL Betting Odds: New York -3
Steelers vs. Giants On TV: CBS

The Steelers and the Giants are two of the perennially successful franchises in the league over the course of the last several years, and this should be a great game. The oddsmakers are more or less insinuating that Pittsburgh and New York are on the same page with one another, giving the G-Men the edge just by the factor of home field advantage. However, we think that the Steelers are really the better of these two when push comes to shove. The Giants have won four in a row and covered three of the four, but we have a real concern right now with how they are winning games. They were a Dez Bryant fingertip away from losing to the Cowboys last week, and the argument could be made that they weren’t necessarily the better team against the Redskins the week before either. New York was outgained by 228 combined yards in those two efforts. Meanwhile, the Steelers feel like they have turned a bit of a corner with wins in consecutive games both SU and ATS, and that’s a big factor for us going forward. Take the points in this one and expect to see an upset when push comes to shove.

Pittsburgh Steelers @ New York Giants Pick: Pittsburgh Steelers +3
Pittsburgh Steelers @ New York Giants Score Prediction: Pittsburgh 24 – New York 20

The Denver Broncos and the Cincinnati Bengals are going to square off in Week 9 of the NFL betting campaign. Join us here at Cappers Info, as we make our predictions for football for what should be a great game on Sunday.

Week 9 NFL Picks: Denver Broncos @ Cincinnati Bengals
Date: Sunday, November 4th, 1:00 ET
Location: Paul Brown Stadium, Cincinnati, OH
Week 9 Betting Odds: Denver -4
Broncos vs. Bengals Live TV: CBS

Get used to NFL picks like this one this week. The Broncos are considered to be the squarer of the two teams in this one, knowing that a huge percentage of the public is on their side. Meanwhile, the Bengals are sharp, as they are sliding and really have played lousy football of late. The truth of the matter though, is that the insinuated NFL point spread here is Denver -7 or more, and that just shouldn’t be the case. The Broncos are a fine team, but they aren’t going to be winning on the road by a touchdown against a team that is as respectable as this. Sure, Cincy has struggled over the course of the last few weeks, but the bye week should have done a lot for this team to get back on the right track. We’re not saying that the Bengals are going to figure out how to win this game, but they should be able to keep this one remotely close. Expect this to be a game that is decided by a field goal one way or the other.

Broncos @ Bengals Pick: Cincinnati Bengals +4
Broncos @ Bengals Score Prediction: Denver 24 – Cincinnati 21

NFL betting fans are running to their online sportsbooks to place their Miami Dolphins vs. Indianapolis Colts bets and predictions, and here at Cappers Info, we are making our Sunday football picks for this encounter.

Week 9 Football Picks: Miami Dolphins @ Indianapolis Colts
Date: Sunday, November 4th, 1:00 ET
Location: Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, IN
NFL Betting Lines: Miami -1.5
Dolphins vs. Colts On TV: CBS

Who would’ve ever thought that the Colts and the Dolphins would both be in the thick of the playoff race this year in the AFC? Of course, there is still a heck of a lot of season to go, but the winner of this game is going to be on a clip for 10 wins when push comes to shove, and that’s quite the impressive number when you think about it. It just feels odd to us to think that QB Ryan Tannehill is playing hurt, yet he is a favorite on the road against an Indy team that is clearly going to be able to get after him as a passer. Both of these teams are playing well right now, but neither one really has played much in the way of outstanding clubs during this stretch. We’ll give the slight edge to the hosts on Sunday, but we really wouldn’t be all that surprised if this game went either way.

Dolphins @ Colts Pick: Indianapolis Colts +1.5
Miami @ Indianapolis Score Prediction: Indianapolis 20 – Miami 17

Week 9 pointspreads are out, and here at Cappers Info, we are set to analyze the NFL odds for one of the top games on the slate. The Kansas City Chiefs vs. San Diego Chargers odds are posted, and we are set to make our NFL picks for another great game.

Week 9 NFL Picks: Kansas City Chiefs @ San Diego Chargers
Date: Thursday, November 1st, 8:20 ET
Location: Qualcomm Stadium, Kansas City, MO
Week 9 Betting Odds: San Diego -8
Kansas City vs. San Diego Live TV: NFL Network

The Chiefs and the Chargers really aren’t all that great, but we also don’t think that there is all that much separating them from one another. The Chiefs probably have the slightly better defense. The Chargers certainly have the better of the two quarterbacks that are going to be playing with QB Philip Rivers getting the big nod over QB Matt Cassel. The ground game for both of these teams could be explosive, though RB Jamaal Charles has clearly done better this year than RB Ryan Mathews, the latter of which has already basically been benched once and has just one touchdown to show for his work. That’s why we just aren’t all that sure that Kansas City should be getting this many points in this game. This is a nice spot for a potential upset, though we do think that ultimately, San Diego will win this one by the value of approximately home field advantage with a short week of preparation for both clubs.

Chiefs @ Chargers Pick: Kansas City Chiefs +8
Chiefs @ Chargers Score Prediction: San Diego 21 – Kansas City 17

NFL betting fans are running to their online sportsbooks to place their Detroit Lions vs. Jacksonville Jaguars bets and predictions, and here at Cappers Info, we are making our Sunday football picks for this encounter.

Week 9 Football Picks: Detroit Lions @ Jacksonville Jaguars
Date: Sunday, November 4th, 1:00 ET
Location: EverBank Field, Jacksonville, FL
NFL Betting Lines: Detroit -3.5
Lions vs. Jaguars On TV: FOX

This is only going to be the fifth time that these two teams have ever played against each other. The good news for the Lions is that they have only been outscored by a single point in the four previous meetings, but the bad news is that +44 of that margin came in the very first meeting, and that was way back in 1995. We gained a ton of respect last week for QB Blaine Gabbert and the Jaguars. They went on the road and were beaten by the Green Bay Packers, but they hung around in that game from start to finish, and without a blocked punt for a touchdown, perhaps they would have pulled the upset. Gabbert played the game hurt, and though he didn’t have the greatest numbers in the world, he had a ton of dropped passes. The Missouri Tiger is clearly under the gun in Jacksonville right now, especially with the trade rumors swirling around bringing QB Tim Tebow to town. That being said, we think that this is a great spot for the Jaguars to be in, knowing that Gabbert and his team are really showing a heck of a lot of heart.

Lions @ Jaguars Pick: Jacksonville Jaguars +3.5
Detroit @ Jacksonville Score Prediction: Jacksonville 23 – Detroit 21

Of all of the games on the Sunday 11/4 Week 9 NFL betting schedule, one of my favorite is the clash between the Dallas Cowboys and the Atlanta Falcons. Join me for my tips for this 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff that can be seen on NBC.

Dallas Cowboys (3-4, 3-4 ATS) +3.5
Atlanta Falcons (7-0, 5-2 ATS) -3.5
Over/Under 47.5

A few weeks ago on Sunday Night Football, we saw the then below-.500 Green Bay Packers take on the then-perfect Houston Texans. There was never a doubt that Houston was the better of the two teams, but it was a game that was significantly more important for the Packers than it was for the Texans. I think that this is the exact same situation that we are getting into tonight on Sunday Night Football.

The Cowboys know that this game absolutely has to be won. Dropping to 3-5 would be disastrous, especially knowing that the NFC is going to feature 10 or 11 win teams getting into the second season this year. 9-7 almost certainly isn’t going to cut it. Meanwhile, Atlanta has more or less seemingly conceded that a 16-0 regular season isn’t going to be realistic. The Falcons know that they are going to drop a game at some point, and this is a very likely game that could be a tripping point on the schedule.

As always, I love to point to recent history to tell me what to do with these games, and this time around, it is clear that recent history goes to the boys from Big D. They have won back to back games in this series, and both of those wins have come by double digits. Add in the fact that Dallas has a pair of losses in the last three weeks that have come by a total of just seven points and the fact that Atlanta has only gone 2-2 ATS in its last four games, and the makings are ripe for the Cowboys to at least stick in front of this number on Sunday Night Football.

Cowboys @ Falcons Tips: Dallas Cowboys +3.5
