We don’t normally put a ton of stock in what we see over the course of just a few games, but we genuinely are worried about the Thunder through three games. Kevin Martin has been able to step up and take the role of James Harden, but it still doesn’t feel like a team that is as good now as it was just a couple of weeks ago. Toronto has a star in the making in Kyle Lowry, who has averaged 23.7 points, 7.3 boards, and 7.0 assists per game (not to mention 3.7 steals per game, too), and G DeMar DeRozan has played well to boot. We really think that the Raptors are going to improve as the year goes on, and this is a game where they can stick around with one of the best teams in the league. Don’t be shocked if this turns out to be a game for the full 48 minutes.

Raptors @ Thunder Pick: Toronto Raptors +9
Raptors @ Thunder Prediction: Thunder 97 – Raptors 93

5Dimes SportsbookOne of my favorite plays on the Week 11 Tuesday college football odds pits the Toledo Rockets against the Ball State Cardinals. These two are going to be meeting at 8:00 p.m. ET at the Glass Bowl, and I’m going to show you which side to make your CFB pick on for this great game.

Ball State Cardinals (6-3, 7-2 ATS) +6
Toledo Rockets (8-1, 6-3 ATS) -6
Over/Under Off

There are some real problems when I take a look at what Toledo has done over the course of the last few weeks. The biggest problem is that they haven’t won a game by more than the six points that they are favored by in this game. Meanwhile, Ball State has only been beaten three times this year, all of which came against some of the best teams in the MAC and in the country as a whole.

Ball State has covered five of the last seven games in this series, but three straight have been won by the Rockets by at least a touchdown. In all three games, Toledo has managed to put up at least 446 yards, and the Cardinals were held under 400 yards in all three as well.

Take away the game that the Rockets played against the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, and they are an undefeated team from both an SU and an ATS standpoint. The Rockets have scored 41.0 points per game over the course of their last 15 games, and if they are able to get to that type of number on Tuesday night, they are going to be in great shape. Ball State’s defense is one of the worst in the MAC, and though its offense is getting up to the line of scrimmage quickly to the tune of over 80 plays per game, it won’t make a difference. I just don’t see how the Cardinals are going to get into the 30s, and if they don’t, they won’t be able to cover the CFB pointspread in this game.

Ball State @ Toledo Tips: Toledo Rockets -6

The Orlando Magic and the Chicago Bulls are going to square off in a Tuesday night NBA betting affair on November 6th. Join us here at Cappers Info, as we make our predictions for basketball for what should be a great game on Tuesday.

NBA Predictions: Orlando Magic @ Chicago Bulls
Date: Tuesday, November 6th, 8:00 ET
Location: United Center, Chicago, IL
NBA Betting Odds: Chicago -9.5
Magic vs. Bulls NBA TV Schedule: FOX Sports Florida, WGN

The last time that the Magic were here at the United Center, they scored a whopping 59 points in what amounted to be just a romp of a defeat at the end of last regular season. This is a bad matchup this time around for Orlando though, because it just doesn’t have the bigs to keep up with a Chicago team that features one of the deepest frontcourts in the game. F Al Harrington still has a knee injury and isn’t likely to play, nor will F Hedo Turkoglu. G Jameer Nelson was a surprise scratch in Sunday’s win over the Phoenix Suns, while F Mo Harkless could also sit. That’s a heck of a lot of men out for a team that had a regular season win total of just 22.5 at the outset of this season. The Bulls were beaten three days ago by the New Orleans Hornets right here at this venue, and it was just a very odd game all around. Chicago was outrebounded, and it just shot the ball horrendously, knocking down just 33.0 percent of its shots and 17.6 percent from beyond the arc. All of that will change on Tuesday night, and the Bulls will romp to a double digit victory against the men from the Sunshine State.

Magic @ Bulls NBA Pick: Chicago Bulls -9.5
Magic @ Bulls Score Prediction: Bulls 105 – Magic 85

Week 11 College Football Picks: Ball State Cardinals @ Toledo Rockets
Date: Tuesday, November 6th, 8:00 ET
Location: Glass Bowl, Toledo, OH
CFB Betting Odds: Toledo -6
Ball State vs. Toledo Live TV: ESPN2

The first game of the weekend is going to be an interesting one, as the Rockets and the Cardinals are both vying for bowl positioning and positioning in the MAC title race this year. There is going to be a lot of offense in this one, but we have a lot more confidence in QB Terrance Owens and his receivers than we do in QB Keith Wenning and the Cardinals. Toledo has a history and tradition of winning, and it is the team with the bigger wins this year. Of course, we have to give Ball State the credit for losing just three times this year with all three losses coming to teams that are at least getting some votes for the Top 25. In those games though, the Rockets allowed 52, 45, and 35 points, and that’s just bad news for Ball State. The Rockets meanwhile, already have a win over the Cincinnati Bearcats, and they have gone through the entire MAC schedule without a blemish this year. That’s good enough for us to go ahead and lay six points even though Toledo hasn’t won a game by more than six since October 6th.

Ball State @ Toledo Pick: Toledo -6
Ball State @ Toledo Score Prediction: Toledo 41 – Ball State 27

NBA picks are one of our specialties here at Cappers Info, and we are set to make our free Minnesota Timberwolves @ Brooklyn Nets picks and predictions for what should be a great clash on Monday night at Barclays Center.

The Timberwolves are having some big time problems scoring to start off the year, as they have averaged just 89 points per game thus far on the campaign. Missing Kevin Love in the paint hurts a lot, but the real problem has come at the point guard spot, where Ricky Rubio still isn’t over last year’s injury, and JJ Barea is now out with a concussion like symptom. The Nets are expected to slow it down this year as well, and without Gerald Wallace, who has an ankle injury and is considered questionable for this one, the offense would be without its best swingman. These two teams did play a relatively high scoring 108-105 game last year, but that was early enough in the campaign to see both Love and Rubio on the court. Take these two away, and we are seriously questioning whether Minnesota can get into the mid-90s to be able to reach the ‘total’ in this game. Don’t be all that shocked if this game ends up producing around 180-185 points, which is about where the T’Wolves have been coming in at all year long.

Timberwolves @ Nets Pick: Under 194
Timberwolves @ Nets Final Score Prediction: Brooklyn 98 – Minnesota 87

5Dimes SportsbookOne of my favorite plays on the Monday NFL odds pits the New Orleans Saints against the Philadelphia Eagles. These two are going to be meeting at 8:30 p.m. ET at the Mercedes Benz Superdome, and I’m going to show you which side to make your NFL pick on for this great game.

Philadelphia Eagles (3-4, 1-5-1 ATS) +3
New Orleans Saints (2-5, 3-4 ATS) -3
Over/Under 52

The injury report is going to be crucial in this game, and the absence of RB Darren Sproles really could be problematic for the Saints’ offense on Sunday Night Football in this one. The Eagles have a defense that has been quite talented and an offense that has a history of shooting itself in the foot. This is the consummate ‘under’ play to make, especially when 67% of the public is backing the ‘over’ with this easily being the highest ‘total’ of the weekend.

The fact of the matter is that both of these teams are where they are right now for a reason. Neither is going to likely make the playoffs, especially if New Orleans wins this game on Monday as is expected. QB Michael Vick leads the world in turnovers and in scrutiny this year, and though he is going against one of the worst defenses in the league, the expectation still can’t be there that his turnover woes are going to all of a sudden stop.

It’s going to be tough to swallow, but I just have to take the ‘under’ in this game. Remember that the Eagles haven’t had a game this year scoring more than 24 points, and it is going to likely take at least that to be able to push this one past the number. Last week’s 14 points scored against the Denver Broncos was no fluke for the Saints. They’ll be held in the 20s in this one, and this game will only get into the mid-40s.

Eagles @ Saints Tips: Under 52
