Week 9 NFL Picks: Indianapolis Colts @ Jacksonville Jaguars
Date: Thursday, November 8th, 8:20 ET
Location: EverBank Field, Jacksonville, FL
NFL Betting Odds: Indianapolis -3
Colts vs. Jaguars On TV: NFL Network

We’re struggling with a few items of business here with this Thursday Night Football game, and we know that it isn’t the best game on the NFL Week 10 schedule to bet. The first problem that we have is the obvious fact that Indianapolis is as square as could be. Over 70% of the betting public is riding QB Andrew Luck and company, and that’s bad news for anyone wanting the back the Colts, especially knowing that this line hasn’t moved. The other struggle is just how well the Jags played when these two teams met at Lucas Oil Stadium a month ago. That was their only win of the season. Jacksonville has played a heck of a lot better on the road this year (1-3 SU, 4-0 ATS) than at home (0-4 SU, 0-4 ATS, average margin of defeat, 23.0 PPG). We hate making the square plays, but in the end, we just can’t deny the fact that the Jags haven’t had a home game closer than 17 points this year, and they have been outgained in six of their last seven games by at least 104 yards.

Indianapolis Colts @ Jacksonville Jaguars Pick: Indianapolis Colts -3
Indianapolis Colts @ Jacksonville Jaguars Score Prediction: Indianapolis 27 – Jacksonville 14

The 2012 college football season is back, and here at Cappers Info, we’ll be looking at some of the best games on the docket each and every week, as we try to make the most money possible off of the CFB odds for the week. Join us on Wednesday night, as we make our Bowling Green Falcons @ Ohio Bobcats free picks and predictions for what should be a great clash on the gridiron.

Week 11 College Football Picks: Bowling Green Falcons @ Ohio Bobcats
Date: Wednesday, November 7th, 8:00 ET
Location: Peden Stadium, Athens, OH
CFB Betting Odds: Ohio -3
Bowling Green @ Ohio Live TV: ESPN2

The Bobcats and the Falcons figure to be involved in a tight one this week, but the oddsmakers are really trying to tell us that this one is going to end in an upset. We think that Bowling Green is the best of these two teams, and it is going to be ready to get rid of the Bobcats once and for all in this game. QB Tyler Tettleton has played well this year, and RB Beau Blankenship can really run over just about everyone, but this is a defense that likes that this team just hasn’t seen this year. Remember that BGSU ranks in the Top 20 in the nation in total defense, rush defense, pass defense, and scoring, and there aren’t all that many teams that can say that. If QB Matt Schilz hangs onto the football and keeps the pressure on the Bobcats’ offense to score points against one of the most ferocious defenses in the MAC, there is no reason that the Falcons can’t pull off the upset in this game.

Bowling Green @ Ohio Pick: Bowling Green Falcons +3
Bowling Green @ Ohio Score Prediction: Bowling Green 24 – Ohio 21

The San Antonio Spurs and the Los Angeles Clippers are going to square off in a Wednesday night NBA betting affair on November 7th. Join us here at Cappers Info, as we make our predictions for basketball for what should be a great game on Wednesday.

NBA Predictions: San Antonio Spurs @ Los Angeles Clippers
Date: Wednesday, November 7th, 10:30 ET
Location: Staples Center, Los Angeles, CA
NBA Betting Odds: San Antonio -2
Spurs vs. Clippers NBA TV Schedule: ESPN

There is a lot made out of the fact that Blake Griffin has an elbow injury, but he is going to be playing in this one, and we don’t think that the loss of Grant Hill to a knee injury is really going to hurt all that much. The Spurs are a deep team, and that is clear based upon the fact that the team has had eight players average at least 17 minutes per game. They’re 4-0 out of the blocks, but we really don’t think that they are the better team in this one. The Clips are getting a rough break right now, knowing that they have lost back to back games against the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors as heavy favorites in both games. However, as we saw when they took on the Los Angeles Lakers five days ago, the Clippers really can put together a tremendous effort. Remember that this offense has scored at least 101 points in all of its games this year, and the explosiveness clearly is there. With the eyes of the nation watching in this NBA on ESPN game, Chris Paul, Griffin, and the rest of the Clips will get the job done and pull off the modest upset.

Spurs @ Clippers NBA Pick: Los Angeles Clippers +2
Spurs @ Clippers Score Prediction: Clippers 108 – Spurs 100

NBA picks are one of our specialties here at Cappers Info, and we are set to make our free Philadelphia 76ers @ New Orleans Hornets picks and predictions for what should be a great clash on Wednesday night at New Orleans Arena.

The Hornets are almost certainly going to be playing without their No. 1 overall pick from the NBA Draft this year, Anthony Davis. If that turns out to be the case, the rest of the bigs are going to have to get the job done on both sides of the court, which really could be problematic, knowing that the guards aren’t able to get the ball in the post. Yes, we have seen the Hornets go 3-0 ATS and 2-1 SU over the course of the first three games of the year, but when they have allowed 90 points, they have lost. Philly is going to bring some major defense to town, and Head Coach Doug Collins isn’t going to be happy with the fact that his team has allowed 210 points over the course of two games to the New York Knicks thus far this year, and he is going to want this road trip to get off on the right foot. Look for the defense to really kick it into gear for the Sixers on Wednesday night, as they pull off a low scoring victory in the Bayou against the Hornets.

76ers @ Hornets Pick: Philadelphia 76ers +1
76ers @ Hornets Final Score Prediction: Philadelphia 85 – New Orleans 80

November 7th, 2012 By Jack Wilshire

Of all of the games on the Wednesday 11/7 college football betting schedule, one of my favorite is the clash between the Bowling Green Falcons and the Ohio Bobcats. Join me for my Week 11 tips for this 8:00 p.m. ET kickoff that can be seen on ESPN2.

Bowling Green Falcons (6-3, 6-3 ATS) +3
Ohio Bobcats (8-1, 4-5 ATS) -3
Over/Under Off

On one glance, it really looks like the 8-1 Bobcats that have only lost to the Miami Redhawks should be able to beat the 6-3 Falcons at home. However, the insinuation that the oddsmakers have thrown out there right now is that Ohio is in a whole heck of a lot of trouble, and I have no choice but to agree.

There are two different facets of this game that I like about this one. The first is as well as Bowling Green’s defense has played this year, especially of late. The 27 points allowed to the Toledo Rockets doesn’t look so bad, and there was really no expectation going against the Virginia Tech Hokies the week later on the road. Knock those two games out, and the Falcons have averaged allowing just 7.7 points per game this year. In the last five games, the Falcons have outgained teams by a whopping 219 yards per game.

The second is how badly the Bobcats really have played in spite of all of their wins. The win last week over the Eastern Michigan Eagles didn’t do anything for us, especially when you consider the fact that there wasn’t a win before that by more than a touchdown against an FBS team since September 8th makes this all the more dangerous. This might be a nice game to tease, but I also think that the Falcons are going to win this game outright when push comes to shove.

Bowling Green @ Ohio Tips: Bowling Green Falcons +3
