College football betting fans are running to their online sportsbooks to place their Miami Hurricanes vs. Virginia bets and predictions, and here at Cappers Info, we are making our Saturday football picks for this encounter.

Week 11 College Football Picks: Miami Hurricanes @ Virginia Cavaliers
Date: Saturday, November 10th, 12:00 ET
Location: Scott Stadium, Charlottesville, VA
CFB Betting Odds: Virginia -1
Miami vs. Virginia Live TV: ABC

The Hurricanes have had a miserable recent history against the Cavaliers, dropping two straight and four out of six to a team that they should be dominating. In fact, in all of those games UVA was a dog, and the last two years, the team was a double digit dog. The Cavvies are running out of losses to endure before they aren’t going to be eligible for a bowl game, and they need to win out, or face the facts that the season is going to end in just a few weeks. Last week was a huge upset over the NC State Wolfpack, and we know that this team has some real abilities. Over the course of the last five games, Virginia has outgained its foe. In the same five games, the Hurricanes have been outgained, including by 189 yards to Florida State and 302 yards to Notre Dame. This one just screams for the Cavaliers to pick up yet another win, especially for as sharp as they appears to be at home against the perceived better team.

Miami @ Virginia Pick: Virginia Cavaliers -1
Miami @ Virginia Score Prediction: Virginia 27 – Miami 24

Week 11 pointspreads are out, and here at Cappers Info, we are set to analyze the college football odds for one of the top games on the slate. The Wisconsin Badgers vs. Indiana Hoosiers odds are posted, and we are set to make our CFB picks for another great game.

Week 11 College Football Picks: Wisconsin Badgers @ Indiana Hoosiers
Date: Saturday, November 10th, 12:00 ET
Location: Memorial Stadium, Bloomington, IN
CFB Betting Odds: Wisconsin -7.5
Wisconsin vs. Indiana Live TV: ESPN2

The Badgers and the Hoosiers are going to be battling it out for what might be a shot at the Big Ten Championship Game. Wisconsin clinches the Big Ten Leaders Division with a victory in this one, but if the team gets beaten, this will likely go down to the wire. The Hoosiers know that they need two wins in these last three games just to make it to bowl eligibility, which likely won’t ultimately happen without a ‘W’ in this one. The last two years in this series have been absolute romps, as the Badgers have won by 52 and 63. In those games, the Badgers have accounted for a total of over 1,100 yards, and RB Montee Ball has over 300 yards and six total TDs on the ground. However, we know that the Badgers have some massive problems at quarterback, starting QB Curt Phillips for the very first time in his career. That makes Indiana quite trendy to at least stick around in this game, and we think that an upset could be in order.

Wisconsin @ Indiana Pick: Indiana Hoosiers +7.5
Wisconsin @ Indiana Score Prediction: Indiana 27 – Wisconsin 21

The Northwestern Wildcats and the Michigan Wolverines are going to square off in Week 11 of the college football betting campaign. Join us here at Cappers Info, as we make our predictions for football for what should be a great game on Saturday.

Week 11 College Football Picks: Northwestern Wildcats @ Michigan Wolverines
Date: Saturday, November 10th, 12:00 ET
Location: Michigan Stadium, Ann Arbor, MI
CFB Betting Odds: Michigan -10
Northwestern vs. Michigan Live TV: ESPN

The Wolverines and the Wildcats are battling it out for the right to stay alive in the Big Ten title race, as the loser is almost certainly going to be eliminated. QB Denard Robinson should be back in the fold as he continues a disappointing senior season. Northwestern is one of the best ATS teams in America at 8-1 this year, and the squad really has played well for the most part, losing to just the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Penn State Nittany Lions. Of course, there isn’t a win against a team that is going to end up in more than a low level bowl game this year, something that both of these teams are fighting to try to avoid. The winner is probably in good shape for either the Outback Bowl or the Capital One Bowl. Remember that Michigan hasn’t lost to a team this year with any shame for sure, knowing that the losses at the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and Alabama Crimson Tide definitely were difficult. Again, there isn’t much in the way of quality wins here, but there hasn’t been a game in which the team has been outdone by 200+ yards, something that basically has happened twice to the Wildcats.

Northwestern @ Michigan Pick: Michigan Wolverines -10
Northwestern @ Michigan Score Prediction: Michigan 31 – Northwestern 19

The 2012 college football season is back, and here at Cappers Info, we’ll be looking at some of the best games on the docket each and every week, as we try to make the most money possible off of the CFB odds for the week. Join us on Saturday night, as we make our Louisville Cardinals @ Syracuse Orange free picks and predictions for what should be a great clash on the gridiron.

Week 11 College Football Picks: Louisville Cardinals @ Syracuse Orange
Date: Saturday, November 10th, 12:00 ET
Location: Carrier Dome, Syracuse, NY
CFB Betting Odds: Louisville -3
Louisville @ Syracuse Live TV: ABC

Is there a point that the nation is going to realize that Louisville really is a good enough team to compete with some of the best in the country this year? It’s tough to gauge, knowing that the Cards really haven’t beaten anyone special, but they just keep winning, and there’s something to be said about that fact. QB Teddy Bridgewater probably should be getting at least some consideration for the Heisman Trophy, but he just hasn’t to this point. And, tis definitely true that Syracuse is overmatched in this game, and there would be little justification for taking it with just three points on our side… except for these. #1: The Carrier Dome is a nightmarish place to play. It always has been and always will be. #2: The Orange are just insanely sharp to the point that it isn’t even funny. This line is dropping like a rock, all the way down to +1.5 at some online sportsbooks, yet according to Covers, 76% of the action is on the Cardinals. Makes you go, “Hmm….” Makes us go, “Hmm….” too…

Louisville @ Syracuse Pick: Syracuse +3
Louisville @ Syracuse Score Prediction: Syracuse 21 – Louisville 20

5Dimes SportsbookOne of my favorite plays on the Sunday NFL odds pits the San Francisco 49ers against the St. Louis Rams. These two are going to be meeting at 8:20 p.m. ET at Soldier Field, and I’m going to show you which side to make your NFL pick on for this great game.

St. Louis Rams (3-5, 5-3 ATS) +12.5
San Francisco 49ers (6-2, 5-3 ATS) -12.5
Over/Under 38.5

This one at the Stick just isn’t going to be all that pretty, but I do think that it is a game that is going to somehow find its way to the ‘total’.

It’s really tough to say that a game that features a team that hasn’t had a game where both teams have gotten a touchdown in six games is going to reach the ‘total’. However, the first fact that I have to keep in mind is that this is a very low ‘total’. Just 38.5 isn’t much nowadays. The Rams have struggled massively offensively, but they are also allowing 23.2 points per game to boot, including conceding 75 points over the course of the last two games to the Patriots and Packers.

The 49ers definitely aren’t inept offensively, knowing that they are averaging 168.4 yards per game on the ground, the best in the league, to go with 23.6 points per game, dab smack in the middle of the league. Three of the last four have gotten ‘over’ the ‘total’ in this series, and all three of those games reached at least 42 points. That would be more than enough for me to cash this bet, and I think that on the grace of some garbage time points for both sides, this one will get there. Look for the 49ers to jump out to a 28-3 type of lead when the late points take over and get this one past the number.

Rams @ 49ers Tips: Over 38.5

The Utah Jazz and the Denver Nuggets are going to square off in a Friday night NBA betting affair on November 9th. Join us here at Cappers Info, as we make our predictions for basketball for what should be a great game on Friday.

NBA Predictions: Utah Jazz @ Denver Nuggets
Date: Friday, November 9th, 10:30 ET
Location: Pepsi Center, Denver, CO
NBA Betting Odds: Denver -4.5
Jazz vs. Nuggets NBA TV Schedule: ESPN

Neither the Nuggets nor the Jazz have gotten off to the start of the year that they had envisioned, knowing that both are just 2-3 on the campaign. However, there is one easy stat that has to be looked at closely before we even try to analyze the NBA matchups in this one. The Jazz have yet to win a game on the road this year. The Nuggets have yet to lose a game at home. Looking back at the history of these two teams, it shouldn’t be all that surprising that the home team has won seven of the last 10 and has covered six of the last 10 as well. Al Jefferson has a stomach virus, and if he can’t give it a go in the high elevation of the Rockies, the Jazz are going to be short one fantastic post player against a team that just doesn’t have all that much bulk in the paint. Utah is just 3-7-1 ATS in its last 10 trips to Denver, and it just feels like the team is going to end up getting trumped in this one by a hungrier, faster team that can run it off the court.

Jazz @ Nuggets NBA Pick: Denver Nuggets -4.5
Jazz @ Nuggets Score Prediction: Nuggets 104 – Jazz 96

Many are going to be running straight to the Wildcats in this one, but we aren’t all that sure that that is all that great of an idea. This team looks absolutely nothing like the club that won 38 games and the National Championship last year, and with a lack of returners, there is no doubt that this team is going to have to take on an entirely new personality. Granted, this team has all of the talent in the world once again, but you never know whether Nerlens Noel is going to be the next Anthony Davis or not. Sure, he is projected to be that way, and Head Coach John Calipari rarely misses on these top prospects, but nothing is guaranteed until we really see these guys suit up. Maryland isn’t a joke this year. This club has retooled with some great players, and we expect to see this team back in the NCAA Tournament this year. Dez Wells is going to be in the fold after getting cleared to play from his transfer from the Xavier Musketeers, and he is going to be bringing a huge spark to a team that needs to replace its top scorer, Terrell Stoglin. Don’t be all that shocked if this one is a heck of a lot closer than the so called college basketball experts think.

Maryland vs. Kentucky Pick: Maryland Terrapins +11.5
Maryland vs. Kentucky Prediction: Kentucky 71 – Maryland 64

Join us on Friday, as we make our Pittsburgh Panthers @ Connecticut Huskies free picks and predictions for what should be a great clash on the gridiron.

Week 11 College Football Picks: Pittsburgh Panthers @ Connecticut Huskies
Date: Friday, November 9th, 8:00 ET
Location: Rentschler Field, Storrs, CT
CFB Betting Odds: Pittsburgh -3
Pittsburgh vs. Connecticut Live TV: ESPN2

Outside of the top three teams in the Big East, the rest of this conference is in shambles. At the moment, no one aside from the Louisville Cardinals, Cincinnati Bearcats, and Rutgers Scarlet Knights will be going bowling, and about the only hope for that to change is if Pittsburgh can beat Connecticut on Friday night. Unfortunately for the conference, we just don’t see that happening. The Panthers are coming off of a tremendous emotional letdown, as they put absolutely everything that they had into the game at the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. They came up short in that one, and they are now going to have to pick up the pieces having blown a 14-point lead in the fourth quarter and then having blown a shot to win it in overtime just by simply kicking a short field goal. Instead, it’s back to the drawing board, and on just four days of rest with two days to travel, the Panthers have to get ready to go back on the road to take on an inferior opponent. It just doesn’t bode well for U-Pitt in this one.

Pittsburgh @ Connecticut Pick: Connecticut +3
Pittsburgh @ Connecticut Score Prediction: Connecticut 21 – Pittsburgh 17

BetGuardian

The Spartans and the Huskies are headed overseas for their first game of the year, and they are going to look like two totally different teams from last year’s clubs that made it into the NCAA Tournament. Michigan State is going to be without F Draymond Green, who really did it all for them, but at least they have some veteran leadership, such as that of G Keith Appling to fall back on. The Huskies on the other hand, have lost F Alex Oriakhi to a transfers, as well as G Jeremy Lamb to the NBA. There really aren’t any prolific scorers that can take over a game on the team, and there isn’t a player on the team that averaged even four boards per game last year that is returning. This is the first UConn team in quite some time that doesn’t have arguably any NBA talent on it, and that is going to make life tough for first year Head Coach Kevin Ollie. This is going to be a tough one for Connecticut, and it should ultimately end up getting clocked by a Spartans outfit that is never afraid to take on anyone, anywhere in the world.

Michigan State vs. Connecticut Pick: Michigan State Spartans -8.5
Michigan State vs. Connecticut Prediction: Michigan State 77 – Connecticut 65

November 9th, 2012 By Jack Wilshire

Of all of the games on the Friday 11/9 college football betting schedule, one of my favorite is the clash between the Pittsburgh Panthers and the Connecticut Huskies. Join me for my Week 11 tips for this 8:00 p.m. ET kickoff that can be seen on ESPN2.

Pittsburgh Panthers (4-5, 5-3-1 ATS) -3
Connecticut Huskies (3-6, 2-5-2 ATS) +3
Over/Under 43.5

It really seems like the Panthers should be one of the easiest plays on the board to make this week. They have covered three games in a row, they should have beaten the No. 4 team in the country last week, and they badly need this game if they are going to make it to a bowl game this year. Things aren’t always as easy as they seem though, and this is a bad spot for U-Pitt to find itself in.

The defense for the Huskies is going to make it very tough to get points on the board for the Panthers. This is a unit that, for as bad as its offense has played all year long, really does have some talent to it. The Huskies are also coming back home, where they have allowed 17, 17, 14, and 0 points this year, and that’s a great sign going forward for this one.

But what really gets me is the line movement. Remember that the Panthers have been favored all week, and they have 70% of the action on their side. However, this college football point spread has come down from 3.5 to 3 since the start of the week, which really sends up a red flag in my eyes. Now add into that the fact that a road favorite has never won nor covered a game in this series and the fact that the Huskies are 5-3 ATS all-time against Pittsburgh, and the makings are there for this one to end in an upset.

Pittsburgh @ Connecticut Tips: Connecticut Huskies +3
