Of all of the games on the Thursday 11/15 Week 11 NFL betting schedule, one of my favorite is the clash between the Miami Dolphins and the Buffalo Bills. Join me for my tips for this 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff that can be seen on the NFL Network.

Miami Dolphins (4-5, 4-5 ATS) +1
Buffalo Bills (3-6, 4-5 ATS) -1
Over/Under 45

History suggests that the Dolphins are going to struggle to put points on the board this week against the Bills, and it is going to show for sure. Take away last year’s bizarre game for RB Reggie Bush in December against a Buffalo team that had already really given up on the year, and what’s left are a whole bunch of games where the Dolphins have failed to get out of the teens when playing here in Buffalo. In fact, the road team in this series had scored between eight and 17 points in 11 straight games before last year’s 30-point explosion for the Dolphins.

More about this matchup that I like: RB Fred Jackson is out of the fold, and that leaves just RB CJ Spiller to carry the rock. Spiller had success when he was the lone tailback in the offense at the outset of the year with Jackson hurt, and though he averaged over 10 yards per carry in two games, he did so against the lowly Jets, who had given up defending the run because they were up so many points, and the lowly Chiefs, who only took the lead for the first time in a game this season on Monday.

In the end, the ‘under’ is most certainly the right play to make. The Bills’ defense has been bad, but it isn’t going to be this bad once again in this game now that they are back at home and playing against manageable opponents. Remember that QB Ryan Tannehill has a grand total of just five TD passes all season long, and that won’t cut it against Buffalo.

5Dimes SportsbookOne of my favorite plays on the Monday NFL odds pits the Pittsburgh Steelers against the Kansas City Chiefs. These two are going to be meeting at 8:30 p.m. ET at Heinz Field, and I’m going to show you which side to make your NFL pick on for this great game.

Kansas City Chiefs (1-7, 2-6 ATS) +12.5
Pittsburgh Steelers (6-2, 5-3 ATS) -12.5
Over/Under 41

Just as Sunday Night Football is going to be a wreck from the standpoint of Mother Nature, Monday Night Football will as well. The weather forecast is calling for a heck of a lot of rain as the day progresses in the Steel City, and that means bad news for ‘over’ bettors for sure.

Regardless of the weather, I really like the ‘under’ in this game regardless. These two teams combined to play to just 22 points last year at Arrowhead Stadium, and the Chiefs have an offense that really doesn’t suggest that there is going to be much in the way of scoring in this one. The team hasn’t scored more than 16 in a game in each of the last three weeks, and even if KC did put 16 on the board, it would still require Pittsburgh getting to 26 to beat me, something that I don’t necessarily see happening.

The Steelers too, are playing better defense at the moment. They have allowed just a total of 49 points in the last three games, but a lot of those scores have come from the offense or special teams, along with a few strokes of bad luck. The truth of the matter is that the hometown crowd is probably going to make sure that the Chiefs aren’t going to get much on the board at all, and we would be surprised to see them get beyond 10 points in this one. This should be the fourth straight ‘under’ game for the Steelers.

NFL Betting Odds: Pittsburgh -12.5
Chiefs vs. Steelers On TV: ESPN

Over 70% of the betting public is on the Steelers, and we really don’t need to do any more work on this game really aside from look at the obvious to tell us which way we need to play this game. Pittsburgh is obviously one of the most public teams in the league, and it is the most public game of the week on Monday Night Football. Online sportsbooks always love it when the favorite fails to cover, and it is going to take just a huge effort for the Steelers to beat this number. This is a big, big line, and if the Chiefs can score even two touchdowns, it’s going to be tough to see Pittsburgh get the job done. Remember that the weather is going to be terrible on Monday night in the Steel City, and though QB Ben Roethlisberger is used to playing in this type of weather, it is still not all that likely that he is going to be able to get more than perhaps three TDs on the board. The Steelers tend to screw the pooch in one game like this one every single year, and though we’re not all that sure that this is that game, we don’t see them winning this one by much more than a score. The fair line in this game is almost certainly -10 or so.
