The 2012 college football season continues this week, and here at Cappers Info, we’ll be looking at some of the best games on the docket each and every week, as we try to make the most money possible off of the CFB odds for the week. Join us on Saturday, as we make our USC Trojans @ UCLA Bruins free picks and predictions for what should be a great clash on the gridiron.

Week 12 College Football Picks: USC Trojans @ UCLA Bruins
Date: Saturday, November 17th, 3:05 ET
Location: Rose Bowl Stadium, Los Angeles, CA
CFB Betting Odds: USC -4
USC vs. UCLA Live TV: FOX

The battle of Los Angeles this year is the de facto Pac-12 South Championship Game as well. This is as good of an opportunity as the Bruins have had to get the job done against the Trojans in quite some time, and if they can win this one, it could be a chance to firmly take control of LA football for the first time in a long time. The better of the two teams though, is clearly USC. The question is whether or not the team is going to want to play this one. Win this, and the Men of Troy are going to get two chances to end National Championship dreams in consecutive weeks against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Oregon Ducks. QB Matt Barkley absolutely shredded this defense last year when these two teams met in a 50-0 romp, and though these teams are closer now, the margin still exists for sure. UCLA might come close, but it isn’t winning this game.

USC @ UCLA Pick: USC -4
USC @ UCLA Score Prediction: USC 38 – UCLA 31

The 2012 college football season is back, and here at Cappers Info, we’ll be looking at some of the best games on the docket each and every week, as we try to make the most money possible off of the CFB odds for the week. Join us on Saturday night, as we make our Stanford Cardinal @ Oregon Ducks free picks and predictions for what should be a great clash on the gridiron.

Week 12 College Football Picks: Stanford Cardinal @ Oregon Ducks
Date: Saturday, November 17th, 8:00 ET
Location: Autzen Stadium, Eugene, OR
CFB Betting Odds: Oregon -20.5
Stanford @ Oregon Live TV: ABC

One of the best offenses that the country has to offer is going to take on arguably the best defense in the Pac-12, and the results should be interesting, to say the least. No one is really giving the Cardinal a chance to win this game, unlike what was the case last weekend in Tuscaloosa with the Texas A&M Aggies going against the Alabama Crimson Tide, but we think that there is a real chance that this game is closer than the college football expert picks suggest. QB Kevin Hogan is almost certainly the better of the two quarterbacks that Head Coach David Shaw could deploy, and RB Stepfan Taylor still could go off for a huge game at a moment’s notice. The Cardinal are legitimate, and they have almost every bit as much motivation right now as the Ducks do, as their BCS hopes probably rest in the wings as well. Even a solid loss might still draw the attention of the Rose Bowl should Oregon move onto the BCS National Championship Game, and we think that that is going to be the way that this plays out for the time being. Take the points.

Stanford @ Oregon Pick: Stanford +20.5
Stanford @ Oregon Score Prediction: Oregon 31 – Stanford 27

Week 12 pointspreads are out, and here at Cappers Info, we are set to analyze the college football odds for one of the top games on the slate. The Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Wisconsin Badgers odds are posted, and we are set to make our CFB picks for another great game.

Week 12 College Football Picks: Ohio State Buckeyes @ Wisconsin Badgers
Date: Saturday, November 17th, 3:30 ET
Location: Camp Randall Stadium, Madison, WI
CFB Betting Odds: Wisconsin -3
Ohio State vs. Wisconsin Live TV: ABC/ESPN2

What disrespect for Buckeye Nation here! Head Coach Urban Meyer has been relatively quiet over the course of the last several weeks even though his team is worth talking about. It’s the punishment that comes with getting a bowl ban, as it takes away from a team that very well could finish the campaign with a spotless record and be the only team in the country to do so. The problem that Wisconsin has in this game is that it is on a third string quarterback. We apologize, but QB Curt Phillips isn’t going to be scorching the Ohio State defense. It just isn’t happening. The Buckeyes can load up with nine in the box if they want and dare the Badgers to throw the football, and it won’t make a difference. On the other side of the ball, the Wisconsin defense isn’t going to be good enough to slow down the Buckeyes either. Expect a big game against out of QB Braxton Miller, as the Bucks roll to 11-0.

Ohio State @ Wisconsin Pick: Ohio State Buckeyes +3
Ohio State @ Wisconsin Score Prediction: Ohio State 33 – Wisconsin 17

Of all of the games on the Saturday 11/17 college football betting schedule, one of my favorite is the clash between the Minnesota Golden Gophers and the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Join me for my Week 12 tips for this 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff that can be seen on the Big Ten Network.

Minnesota Golden Gophers (6-4, 5-5 ATS) +19
Nebraska Cornhuskers (8-2, 5-4-1 ATS) -19
Over/Under 53.5

As much as I hate to make the public play, it really seems as though the Cornhuskers are the right side on Saturday, even laying 19 points against a defense that is allowing under 24 points per game on average. Remember that Minnesota has played a really, really weak schedule this year that included teams like UNLV and New Hampshire, and the only potential bowl teams that the squad beat this year were Purdue and Syracuse, and neither of those were givens either.

What’s more depressing if you’re a Golden Gopher is how badly the best teams in the Big Ten have beaten your team up. Remember that the Gophers were dropped just two weeks ago by 22 points by the Michigan Wolverines, who didn’t have QB Denard Robinson for the game. They were also beaten by the Wisconsin Badgers in the only truly tough road game of the year by 25 points.

In the end, there are just too many red flags that are going up here around Minnesota. Every light is turning green for Nebraska, and I’ve got no choice but to trust that QB Taylor Martinez, RB Ameer Abdullah, and the crew are going to find their way to the win column by a relatively comfortable margin against a Minnesota team that the Huskers crippled 41-14 last year.

Minnesota @ Nebraska Tips: Nebraska Cornhuskers -19

College football betting fans are running to their online sportsbooks to place their Oklahoma Sooners vs. West Virginia bets and predictions, and here at Cappers Info, we are making our Saturday football picks for this encounter.

Week 12 College Football Picks: Oklahoma Sooners @ West Virginia Mountaineers
Date: Saturday, November 17th, 7:00 ET
Location: Mountaineer Field, Morgantown, WV
CFB Betting Odds: Oklahoma +10.5
Oklahoma vs. West Virginia Live TV: FOX

Five weeks ago had this game been played, West Virginia would have been favored by at least a touchdown. Now all of a sudden, the spread has flipped by a minimum of 17 points, and perhaps even more. We’re sorry, but we just don’t see how this much has changed. The Mountaineers are going down the long and winding road towards a disastrous campaign, as they have lost four in a row and have fallen clear out of the Top 25 in the nation as a result. They can probably get back in if they can figure out how to upset the Sooners and get them out of the BCS picture in all likelihood. QB Geno Smith and QB Landry Jones have a lot on the line in this one, as you can bet that the game tape from this one will be circulated around a lot of NFL war rooms come the NFL Draft. Both men could be first round picks, and both could also fall out of the first two days of the draft completely if things don’t go well for the rest of the year. There’s just too much on the line here for a road team to be laying 10.5 to another team with a ton of talent in conference. Don’t be shocked if the Mountaineers pull off the shocker.

Oklahoma @ West Virginia Pick: West Virginia Mountaineers +10.5
Oklahoma @ West Virginia Score Prediction: West Virginia 41 – Oklahoma 35

The 2012 college football season continues this week, and here at Cappers Info, we’ll be looking at some of the best games on the docket each and every week, as we try to make the most money possible off of the CFB odds for the week. Join us on Saturday, as we make our NC State Wolfpack @ Clemson Tigers free picks and predictions for what should be a great clash on the gridiron.

Week 12 College Football Picks: NC State Wolfpack @ Clemson Tigers
Date: Saturday, November 17th, 3:30 ET
Location: Memorial Stadium, Clemson, SC
CFB Betting Odds: Clemson -17
NC State vs. Clemson Live TV: ABC/SPN2

NC State has covered two in a row in this series, and the team has covered three straight games here in Death Valley in spite of the fact that it has lost all three games. However, there really isn’t much more reason than that to like the Wolfpack on Saturday afternoon. QB Mike Glennon already has 13 picks this year, and that’s just far, far too many turnovers for one player this time of year. The team doesn’t have a heck of a lot of offensive talent around him either, and that is a major cause for concern against a team that just flies up and down the field. The Tigers have covered each and every one of their ACC games this year, and their only loss of the season came against the Florida State Seminoles in a game that they had in hand in the first half before running out of gadgets in the second half. The most telling stat? The Pack are 0-3-1 ATS on the road this year and have played some just downright atrocious games in the interim. This is an easy college football pick to make.

NC State @ Clemson Pick: Clemson -17
NC State @ Clemson Score Prediction: Clemson 41 – NC State 20

The Ole Miss Rebels and the LSU Tigers are going to square off in Week 12 of the college football betting campaign. Join us here at Cappers Info, as we make our predictions for football for what should be a great game on Saturday.

Week 12 College Football Picks: Ole Miss Rebels @ LSU Tigers
Date: Saturday, November 17th, 3:30 ET
Location: Tiger Stadium, Baton Rouge, LA
CFB Betting Odds: LSU -19
Ole Miss vs. LSU Live TV: CBS

Be very, very careful, Bayou Bengals. The Tigers are playing well right now, and their three straight covers (and nearly four straight covers if you count the two-point win over the South Carolina Gamecocks) are looking more and more impressive with each passing week, but they might be hitting a bit of a mental wall in this one. This is a classic spot for a letdown. LSU has played five straight ranked opponents and six ranked foes in total this year. Now, Ole Miss is coming to town, a team that it clocked 52-3 last year, and one that is just 5-5 and isn’t likely to make a bowl game. It’s just not a sexy game, and it looks even less sexy with LSU’s arch rivals, the Arkansas Razorbacks coming to town next week on a short week. Meanwhile, the Rebels are playing for their bowl hopes at the moment, and QB Bo Wallace really needs the reps as just a sophomore if he is going to eventually become one of the elite quarterbacks in the SEC. This won’t be an upset, but it might be darn close for quite some time.

Ole Miss @ LSU Pick: Ole Miss Rebels +19
Ole Miss @ LSU Score Prediction: LSU 31 – Ole Miss 21
