The time is here for more of our sparkling CBB picks, as we look at the schedule for basketball for Friday night. The Georgetown Hoyas and Tennessee Volunteers will have it in a nationally televised game, which can be seen on the college basketball TV schedule on ESPN.

Free College Hoops Picks: Tennessee Volunteers @ Georgetown Hoyas
Date: Friday, November 30th, 6:30 ET
Location: Verizon Center, Washington DC
Tennessee vs. Georgetown Live TV: ESPN

Efficiency is the name of the game for the Hoyas, and they are clearly going to be the team to beat in this game on Friday night in the Big East/SEC Challenge. This is a team that is shooting 50.4 percent from the field as a unit, one of the best marks in the Big East. F Otto Porter and F Greg Whittington are both doing a nice job in the paint, and they are making a good chunk of their shots and cleaning up on the glass to boot. The Volunteers are clearly going to improve as the year goes on, but there is a real question as to whether this is a club that can really keep up with the big time teams in the Big East. Thus far, there has only been one game against a Big Six school, and the end result was a romp at the hands of the Oklahoma State Cowboys. This is tough competition, and it is a legit road game instead of a neutral site affair. The problem that UT has in this one is that Georgetown has the bigs to slow down F Jarnell Stokes. If that turns out to be the case, the boys from Rocky Top just aren’t going to have any answers. This should be a very one-sided romp from the start.

Tennessee vs. Georgetown Pick: Georgetown Hoyas
Tennessee vs. Georgetown Prediction: Georgetown 78 – Tennessee 63

Friday night on the hardwood will be a heck of a lot of fun for the SEC, as it has to contend with the Big East in the challenge that the league have against one another. The Razorbacks seem to be massively overmatched by the No. 15 ranked team in America, but we have reason to believe otherwise. Namely, that reason is G BJ Young. This kid is just out of this world, and though he is only a sophomore, he might be able to make a real name for himself on the national spotlight at home on Friday night. Young is averaging 20.5 points per game this year, and he was considered a true coup in recruiting when he started off last year in Fayetteville. Syracuse has itself a heck of a team once again this year, and though Head Coach Jim Boeheim always reloads instead of rebuilds, that doesn’t mean that it isn’t insanely difficult to figure out how to replace Fab Melo, Dion Waiters, Scoop Jardine, and Kris Joseph. Last year’s team overachieved, and it overachieved with all of these pieces in place. This year’s squad just shouldn’t be as good in all likelihood. That 4-0 start to the season has been great for the Orange, but they’ll fall flat on Friday night in Fayetteville in the biggest upset of the Big East/SEC Challenge.

Syracuse vs. Arkansas Pick: Arkansas Razorbacks
Syracuse vs. Arkansas Prediction: Arkansas 79 – Syracuse 77

NFL betting fans are running to their online sportsbooks to place their New Orleans Saints vs. Atlanta Falcons bets and predictions, and here at Cappers Info, we are making our Thursday football picks for this encounter.

Week 13 Football Picks: New Orleans Saints @ Atlanta Falcons
Date: Thursday, November 29th, 8:20 ET
Location: Georgia Dome, Atlanta, GA
NFL Betting Lines: Atlanta -3.5
Saints vs. Falcons On TV: NFL Network

The last time that the Saints and the Falcons showed up on the same field together, points were flying all over the place. QB Matt Ryan threw for over 400 yards and three TDs, but for the first time in his career, he actually lost when he threw for at least three scores, as QB Drew Brees and company were able to fend off a late charge to come up with what, at the time, looked like a season defining ‘W’. This one just means a whole heck of a lot more to the Saints than it does to the Falcons, and it really looks like Atlanta is set to get clipped one of these days. The team hasn’t scored more than 23 points in a home game since September 30th, and the offense has really struggled at times over the course of the last two weeks. This is a game that is there for the taking for the Saints, who are hoping to get back to .500 and back in a position where they can get into the playoffs, perhaps to set up a third and decisive showdown between these arch rivals.

Saints @ Falcons Pick: New Orleans Saints +3.5
New Orleans @ Atlanta Score Prediction: New Orleans 28 – Atlanta 20

BovadaThe New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Falcons are set to kick off their Week 13 NFL betting clash on Thursday 11/29, and I’m set to make my football pick for the affair at the Georgia Dome. Kickoff is set for 8:20 ET, and I’ve got the perfect NFL pick for this outstanding duel on the gridiron.

New Orleans Saints (5-6, 6-5 ATS) +3.5
Atlanta Falcons (10-1, 6-4-1 ATS) -3.5
Over/Under 55.5

It’s really easy to look at this matchup and just immediately think that this is a game that is going to ultimately get into the 60s or the 70s in scoring. And, I’ll be the first one to admit that it wouldn’t be all that surprising to see that that’s how this one ultimately plays out. However, taking a closer look at it, the fair ‘total’ really appears to be about 51 or so, not 55.5.

I know that these two teams combined to account for almost 900 yards the first time around, and last year’s meetings both had just a slew of yards and points in them as well. However, if you take a look at what the Falcons have been doing of late, you’ll notice a bit of a disturbing trend. They have played two straight games beneath the ‘total’, and they have played three straight here at the Georgia Dome as ‘under’ games as well. The offense actually hasn’t scored more than 23 in a home game since September 30th.

On top of that, New Orleans has at least started to figure a few things out defensively. The ‘D’ wasn’t to blame for 14 of the 31 points that the squad allowed last week to the San Francisco 49ers, and the truth of the matter is that the unit really has been able to come up with some big plays when push comes to shove. Don’t be all that shocked if this turns out to be a game that features a lot of points, but not enough to get past this clearly overinflated ‘total’.

Saints @ Falcons Tips: Under 55.5
