The Washington Wizards and the New York Knicks are going to square off in a Friday night NBA betting affair on November 30th. Join us here at Cappers Info, as we make our predictions for basketball for what should be a great game on Friday.

NBA Predictions: Washington Wizards @ New York Knicks
Date: Friday, November 30th, 7:30 ET
Location: Madison Square Garden, New York, NY
NBA Betting Odds: New York -13.5
Wizards vs. Knicks NBA TV Schedule: NBA TV

It truly is amazing to think that the Wizards are headed for yet another Top 3 pick in the NBA Draft this year. They only finally got their first win of the season two nights ago, but they are still a hopeless club that is going nowhere in a hurry. About the only thing to look forward to is the evolution of some of these young players. Jordan Crawford, Bradley Beal, and John Wall will make a great cornerstone to build this franchise around, and now that Nene is over his foot injury, he should help out as well, especially in Wall’s absence. The Knicks are getting some great contributions from men like Carmelo Anthony and Raymond Felton, though Jason Kidd, Iman Shumpert, and Amare Stoudemire are all still out of the lineup. The Wiz have the taste for winning now though, and they are going to be reminded of the last time that they played against the Knicks. Washington was trounced 103-65 in that game. That won’t happen again. It won’t be a victory by any stretch of the imagination for the Wizards, but they’ll at least stick inside of two touchdowns against an overrated New York outfit.

Wizards @ Knicks NBA Pick: Washington Wizards +13.5
Wizards @ Knicks Score Prediction: Knicks 102 – Wizards 94

The UCLA Bruins and the Stanford Cardinal are going to square off in Week 14 of the college football betting campaign. Join us here at Cappers Info, as we make our predictions for football for what should be a great game on Friday.

Week 14 College Football Picks: UCLA Bruins @ Stanford Cardinal
Date: Friday, November 30th, 8:00 ET
Location: Stanford Stadium, Palo Alto, CA
CFB Betting Odds: Stanford -8.5
UCLA vs. Stanford Live TV: FOX

We rarely get the chance to see two teams play against each other over the course of the same season, and never before, have we seen two teams play within just six days in a major conference in such a big spot like this one. There are millions of dollars on the line here on “The Farm,” as the winner of the Pac-12 Championship Game will go to the Rose Bowl, while the loser will go to the Alamo Bowl in all likelihood. Though Stanford was the team that won this game last week on the road, we have to think that the Bruins are going to put forth a much more inspired effort. First off, they have to be tired of getting raked by this team, having been beaten by at least 18 in three straight battles and having gone 0-4 SU and ATS in the last four clashes overall. But more importantly, this is a game with some substance to it. Last week’s game was merely a decision as to whether the team was playing against the Cardinal or the Oregon Ducks. Go with a young and learning QB Brett Hundley to at least keep this one close. Don’t underestimate the value of the Bruins having played in this conference title game last year either.

UCLA @ Stanford Pick: UCLA Bruins +8.5
UCLA @ Stanford Score Prediction: Stanford 28 – UCLA 24

The 2012 college football season is back, and here at Cappers Info, we’ll be looking at some of the best games on the docket each and every week, as we try to make the most money possible off of the CFB odds for the week. Join us on Friday night, as we make our Northern Illinois Huskies vs. Kent State Golden Flashes free picks and predictions for what should be a great clash on the gridiron.

Week 14 College Football Picks: Northern Illinois Huskies vs. Kent State Golden Flashes
Date: Friday, November 30th, 7:00 ET
Location: Ford Field, Detroit, MI
CFB Betting Odds: Northern Illinois -7.5
Northern Illinois vs. Kent State Live TV: ESPN2

Sometimes line movement just massively overreacts, and the truth of the matter is that this is where we’re at right now for the MAC Championship Game. Northern Illinois is the better of these two teams, and we’ll stand by that in spite of what the BCS rankings say at the moment. If the Golden Flashes end up in the BCS, they’re going to get absolutely obliterated by a team like Florida State, and it won’t even be remotely humorous to watch. However, the Flashes aren’t a 10-1 ATS team against FBS schools without reason this year. They don’t play the best defense in the MAC, but they don’t play the worst either, and if there is a unit that might be able to contain QB Jordan Lynch, this is the unit that can get the job done. We also really love this Kent State rushing attack, which features not just one, but two 1,000+ yard rushers, and that could control the ball and force the Huskies into some mistakes that we just don’t think they can overcome. Remember that NIU didn’t play one of the best defensive teams in the MAC this year, and every time it ran across some adversity, whether it be against Iowa, against Kansas, or against Toledo, games ended up being quite close. We think that the Flashes very well could be headed to the BCS as a result.

Northern Illinois vs. Kent State Pick: Kent State Golden Flashes +7.5
Northern Illinois vs. Kent State Score Prediction: Kent State 29 – Northern Illinois 28

The time is here for more of our sparkling CBB picks, as we look at the schedule for basketball for Friday night. The Georgetown Hoyas and Tennessee Volunteers will have it in a nationally televised game, which can be seen on the college basketball TV schedule on ESPN.

Free College Hoops Picks: Tennessee Volunteers @ Georgetown Hoyas
Date: Friday, November 30th, 6:30 ET
Location: Verizon Center, Washington DC
Tennessee vs. Georgetown Live TV: ESPN

Efficiency is the name of the game for the Hoyas, and they are clearly going to be the team to beat in this game on Friday night in the Big East/SEC Challenge. This is a team that is shooting 50.4 percent from the field as a unit, one of the best marks in the Big East. F Otto Porter and F Greg Whittington are both doing a nice job in the paint, and they are making a good chunk of their shots and cleaning up on the glass to boot. The Volunteers are clearly going to improve as the year goes on, but there is a real question as to whether this is a club that can really keep up with the big time teams in the Big East. Thus far, there has only been one game against a Big Six school, and the end result was a romp at the hands of the Oklahoma State Cowboys. This is tough competition, and it is a legit road game instead of a neutral site affair. The problem that UT has in this one is that Georgetown has the bigs to slow down F Jarnell Stokes. If that turns out to be the case, the boys from Rocky Top just aren’t going to have any answers. This should be a very one-sided romp from the start.

Tennessee vs. Georgetown Pick: Georgetown Hoyas
Tennessee vs. Georgetown Prediction: Georgetown 78 – Tennessee 63

College Basketball Picks: Syracuse Orange @ Arkansas Razorbacks
Date: Friday, November 30th, 8:30 ET
Location: Bud Walton Arena, Fayetteville, AR
Syracuse vs. Arkansas Live TV: ESPN2

GT Bets Banner

Friday night on the hardwood will be a heck of a lot of fun for the SEC, as it has to contend with the Big East in the challenge that the league have against one another. The Razorbacks seem to be massively overmatched by the No. 15 ranked team in America, but we have reason to believe otherwise. Namely, that reason is G BJ Young. This kid is just out of this world, and though he is only a sophomore, he might be able to make a real name for himself on the national spotlight at home on Friday night. Young is averaging 20.5 points per game this year, and he was considered a true coup in recruiting when he started off last year in Fayetteville. Syracuse has itself a heck of a team once again this year, and though Head Coach Jim Boeheim always reloads instead of rebuilds, that doesn’t mean that it isn’t insanely difficult to figure out how to replace Fab Melo, Dion Waiters, Scoop Jardine, and Kris Joseph. Last year’s team overachieved, and it overachieved with all of these pieces in place. This year’s squad just shouldn’t be as good in all likelihood. That 4-0 start to the season has been great for the Orange, but they’ll fall flat on Friday night in Fayetteville in the biggest upset of the Big East/SEC Challenge.

Syracuse vs. Arkansas Pick: Arkansas Razorbacks
Syracuse vs. Arkansas Prediction: Arkansas 79 – Syracuse 77

NFL betting fans are running to their online sportsbooks to place their New Orleans Saints vs. Atlanta Falcons bets and predictions, and here at Cappers Info, we are making our Thursday football picks for this encounter.

Week 13 Football Picks: New Orleans Saints @ Atlanta Falcons
Date: Thursday, November 29th, 8:20 ET
Location: Georgia Dome, Atlanta, GA
NFL Betting Lines: Atlanta -3.5
Saints vs. Falcons On TV: NFL Network

The last time that the Saints and the Falcons showed up on the same field together, points were flying all over the place. QB Matt Ryan threw for over 400 yards and three TDs, but for the first time in his career, he actually lost when he threw for at least three scores, as QB Drew Brees and company were able to fend off a late charge to come up with what, at the time, looked like a season defining ‘W’. This one just means a whole heck of a lot more to the Saints than it does to the Falcons, and it really looks like Atlanta is set to get clipped one of these days. The team hasn’t scored more than 23 points in a home game since September 30th, and the offense has really struggled at times over the course of the last two weeks. This is a game that is there for the taking for the Saints, who are hoping to get back to .500 and back in a position where they can get into the playoffs, perhaps to set up a third and decisive showdown between these arch rivals.

Saints @ Falcons Pick: New Orleans Saints +3.5
New Orleans @ Atlanta Score Prediction: New Orleans 28 – Atlanta 20

November 29th, 2012 By Jack Wilshire

BovadaThe New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Falcons are set to kick off their Week 13 NFL betting clash on Thursday 11/29, and I’m set to make my football pick for the affair at the Georgia Dome. Kickoff is set for 8:20 ET, and I’ve got the perfect NFL pick for this outstanding duel on the gridiron.

New Orleans Saints (5-6, 6-5 ATS) +3.5
Atlanta Falcons (10-1, 6-4-1 ATS) -3.5
Over/Under 55.5

It’s really easy to look at this matchup and just immediately think that this is a game that is going to ultimately get into the 60s or the 70s in scoring. And, I’ll be the first one to admit that it wouldn’t be all that surprising to see that that’s how this one ultimately plays out. However, taking a closer look at it, the fair ‘total’ really appears to be about 51 or so, not 55.5.

I know that these two teams combined to account for almost 900 yards the first time around, and last year’s meetings both had just a slew of yards and points in them as well. However, if you take a look at what the Falcons have been doing of late, you’ll notice a bit of a disturbing trend. They have played two straight games beneath the ‘total’, and they have played three straight here at the Georgia Dome as ‘under’ games as well. The offense actually hasn’t scored more than 23 in a home game since September 30th.

On top of that, New Orleans has at least started to figure a few things out defensively. The ‘D’ wasn’t to blame for 14 of the 31 points that the squad allowed last week to the San Francisco 49ers, and the truth of the matter is that the unit really has been able to come up with some big plays when push comes to shove. Don’t be all that shocked if this turns out to be a game that features a lot of points, but not enough to get past this clearly overinflated ‘total’.

Saints @ Falcons Tips: Under 55.5

The 2012 college football season continues this week, and here at Cappers Info, we’ll be looking at some of the best games on the docket each and every week, as we try to make the most money possible off of the CFB odds for the week. Join us on Thursday, as we make our Louisville Cardinals @ Rutgers Scarlet Knights free picks and predictions for what should be a great clash on the gridiron.

Week 14 College Football Picks: Louisville Cardinals @ Rutgers Scarlet Knights
Date: Thursday, November 29th, 7:30 ET
Location: High Point Solutions Stadium, Piscataway, NJ
CFB Betting Odds: Rutgers -3
Louisville vs. Rutgers Live TV: ESPN

Forget about this game for a second, because trying to handicap this one is going to be impossible. There’s absolutely nothing that we have seen out of either of these teams that makes us want to back either team, as both certainly stunk up the joint in a big time way. But this game isn’t just about the two teams that are on the field. This is a game for the state of New Jersey. The only state college of the Garden State is going to be on fire for this one. Remember six years ago when the Scarlet Knights knocked off the then No. 3 ranked Cardinals right here in Piscataway? The place went absolutely bananas – even more nuts than we normally see when there are big upsets. This is a school in Rutgers that just doesn’t see moments like this. This is a chance to get to the BCS for the first time in school history. And it’s a chance to do it in spite of the fact that Head Coach Greg Schiano left for the NFL. Simply put, it’s the biggest game in the history of the Rutgers program, and the opportunity to win the Big East is just too big to punt away. Sometimes, it’s more about the players on the field and emotion alone can bring you to a win. That’s what Rutgers is going to go through on Thursday night.

Louisville @ Rutgers Pick: Rutgers -3
Louisville @ Rutgers Score Prediction: Rutgers 27 – Louisville 17

November 28th, 2012 By Jack Wilshire

5Dimes SportsbookOne of my favorite plays on the Week 14 Thursday college football odds pits the Rutgers Scarlet Knights against the Louisville Cardinals. These two are going to be meeting at 7:30 p.m. ET at High Point Solutions Stadium, and I’m going to show you which side to make your CFB pick on for this great game.

Louisville Cardinals (9-2, 4-7 ATS) +3
Rutgers Scarlet Knights (9-2, 7-4 ATS) -3
Over/Under 43.5

This clearly is going to be a game for the ages in Piscataway, and nerves are probably going to get the best of both of these teams. It’s going to be freezing cold at the end of November in the Garden State, and as a result, points are likely going to be at a premium.

I just don’t see where these points are going to come from. Louisville has the ability to do some scoring, but it took three overtimes to score 20 points last week against the Connecticut Huskies, who don’t exactly have the best team in the Big East. Meanwhile, Rutgers scored just six points last week against the Pitt Panthers, and they put up just 10 the week before against the Cincinnati Bearcats. The ground game comes first for both of these teams, and there are going to be just such a small number of plays in this game in relation to what we’re used to seeing in the average college football game.

Now add in the fact that last year’s game between these two teams ended in a 16-14 win for the Cardinals. Everything is just setting up right now for this one to be a game that lands in the 30s, not in the 40s or 50s. Go with the ‘under’ before this number drops on game day.

Louisville @ Rutgers Tips: Under 43.5

The Denver Nuggets and the Golden State Warriors are going to square off in a Thursday night NBA betting affair on November 29th. Join us here at Cappers Info, as we make our predictions for basketball for what should be a great game on Thursday.

NBA Predictions: Denver Nuggets @ Golden State Warriors
Date: Thursday, November 29th, 10:30 ET
Location: Oracle Arena, San Francisco, CA
NBA Betting Odds: Denver -1.5
Nuggets vs. Warriors NBA TV Schedule: TNT

It was only five days ago that the Nuggets beat the heck out of the Warriors at Pepsi Arena, and unfortunately for Golden State, this could really become an even worse beating. The real key that the Nuggets have on a nightly basis is the fact that they can rebound just as well if not better than any team in the land. In that game though, one that was won by 11 points by the Nuggets, the Warriors actually won the rebounding battle by six boards. That just isn’t going to happen again in this one in all likelihood. Denver is playing well this year in spite of itself. The team is shooting just 66.6 percent from the foul line this year, and there are so many traditionally respectable free throw shooters that are just doing horribly right now from the stripe. Denver has won and covered three in a row and seven out of nine in this series, and we’re puzzled as to what the NBA betting lines are doing dropping as close to a pick ‘em as this one is getting. The Nuggs absolutely have to win this game at least 55% of the time to make this betting worthwhile.

Nuggets @ Warriors NBA Pick: Denver Nuggets -1.5
Nuggets @ Warriors Score Prediction: Nuggets 105 – Warriors 100

NBA picks are one of our specialties here at Cappers Info, and we are set to make our free San Antonio Spurs @ Miami Heat picks and predictions for what should be a great clash on Thursday night at American Airlines Arena.

Free NBA Picks: San Antonio Spurs @ Miami Heat
Date: Thursday, November 29th, 8:00 ET
Location: American Airlines Arena, Miami, FL
NBA Betting Odds: Miami -6.5
Spurs @ Heat On TV Live: TNT

BetOnline
The Spurs are playing in the second half of the Sunshine State swing, and that’s generally bad news for anyone. Of course, San Antonio has been one of the best teams in the league this year, and that hasn’t changed at this point. This is the sixth straight road game for the Spurs, and they are 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS in those games. The Heat have won four games in a row, but they really don’t feel like they have gotten their acts together. It almost feels like they have been screwing around with the Milwaukee Bucks and the Cleveland Cavaliers, and this is the game that they are truthfully ready to come out and kill it. Remember that the last two times that these two teams met in South Beach, Miami came up with wins of 120-98 and 110-80. We don’t quite think that it’s going to be that emphatic this time around, but there is no reason to think that this won’t be a double digit victory.

Spurs @ Heat Pick: Miami Heat -6.5
Spurs @ Heat Final Score Prediction: Miami 105 – San Antonio 94

Kentucky vs. Notre Dame Live TV: ESPN2

BetGuardian

Anyone else smelling this upset in the Big East/SEC Challenge? The Big East is a comfortable favorite to claim the Big East/SEC Challenge, but this is a game that is a heck of a lot more dangerous than it ultimately looks for the one team in the SEC that really shouldn’t be struggling. The Wildcats are looked upon as the best in America right now outside of Indiana and perhaps Duke and Louisville, but we just don’t know. We know that this team is going to be great come March when all of these youngsters learn how to play together, but it just isn’t there yet. Meanwhile, Notre Dame is bringing back a veteran squad with a ton of returners, namely Jack Cooley and Jerian Grant, and these two know what it takes to win the big time games. It wasn’t a mistake that teams like West Virginia, Marquette, Syracuse, and Pittsburgh all came to South Bend last year and lost, and it definitely wasn’t a mistake that this team lost just one game at home all year long last year. The only mistake here? Too many people are going to bet on the Wildcats, thinking that the -1.5 is a sure thing. Not so fast, my friends.

Kentucky vs. Notre Dame Pick: Notre Dame Fighting Irish +1.5
Kentucky vs. Notre Dame Prediction: Notre Dame 70 – Kentucky 65
