The 2012 NFL season is back, and here at Cappers Info, we’ll be looking at some of the best games on the docket each and every week, as we try to make the most money possible off of the NFL odds for the week. Join us on Monday, as we make our New York Giants @ Washington Redskins free picks and predictions for what should be a great clash on the gridiron.

Week 13 NFL Picks: New York Giants @ Washington Redskins
Date: Monday, December 3rd, 8:30 ET
Location: FedEx Field, Landover, MD
NFL Betting Odds: New York -2.5
Giants vs. Redskins On TV: ESPN

It’s Monday Night Football, and the game on the docket really couldn’t be much bigger than this one in the push for the playoffs in the NFC. Depending upon what happens with the Cowboys on Sunday, the Giants could be playing to go three up with four to play in the NFC East. If they lose this one though, the margin for error could be virtually nil, as will be just one game separating New York from Washington for sure, and likely Dallas as well. QB Eli Manning ripped this secondary apart in Week 7 to the tune of over 330 yards, and he has a chance to do well again this week, too. Washington has been playing great football, not the least of which came when QB Robert Griffin III came up with four TDs on Thanksgiving against the aforementioned Cowboys, but we think that he is going to be coming up short in this one when push comes to shove. In the end, the Giants are the better of the two teams, and they have gotten a feel for what RG3 brings to the table. Go with the G-Men to pick up a hard fought win in DC.

New York Giants @ Washington Redskins Pick: New York Giants -2.5
New York Giants @ Washington Redskins Score Prediction: New York 27 – Washington 20

Week 13 pointspreads are out, and here at Cappers Info, we are set to analyze the NFL odds for one of the top games on the slate. The Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Baltimore Ravens odds are posted, and we are set to make our NFL picks for another great game.

Week 13 NFL Picks: Pittsburgh Steelers @ Baltimore Ravens
Date: Sunday, December 2nd, 4:25 ET
Location: M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore, MD
Week 13 Betting Odds: Baltimore -7.5
Pittsburgh vs. Baltimore Live TV: CBS

It seems like an easy bet to back the Ravens lay 7.5 at home in this one, but we’re just not that sure that that should be the case when push comes to shove. Pittsburgh was a disaster last week against the Cleveland Browns, but the fact of the matter is that it was in the game in spite of the fact that the squad turned the ball over eight times and got absolutely nothing from QB Charlie Batch. We know that it really isn’t all that likely that Batch is going to ever throw for 300 yards or three TDs in a game, but he can make some plays, as we also saw last week when he was able to get a couple balls up to WR Emmanuel Sanders. The offensive line is getting healthier, and the Steelers aren’t going to turn the ball over this many times. They aren’t going to win this game, as the Ravens will find some way that, when push comes to shove, will prove victorious, but giving 7.5 in this game is ridiculous. Seven of the last eight have been decided by a touchdown or less.

Steelers @ Ravens Pick: Pittsburgh Steelers +7.5
Steelers @ Ravens Score Prediction: Baltimore 21 – Pittsburgh 14

The Cleveland Browns and the Oakland Raiders are going to square off in Week 13 of the NFL betting campaign. Join us here at Cappers Info, as we make our predictions for football for what should be a great game on Sunday.

Week 13 NFL Picks: Cleveland Browns @ Oakland Raiders
Date: Sunday, December 2nd, 4:25 ET
Location: O.co Coliseum, Oakland, CA
Week 13 Betting Odds: Cleveland -1
Browns vs. Raiders Live TV: CBS

QB Brandon Weeden has been cleared to play, and he is going to be out there on Sunday when his Browns take on the Raiders. The Black Hole is going to be rocking, but everyone there knows that this game is better served lost than won, knowing that the loser is going to get a higher pick in the NFL Draft as a result. Sure, winning out could get either of these teams into the playoffs with some help, but that just isn’t all that likely. The Browns have covered five of the last six in this series dating back to 2003, and that’s a good sign for a team that has really played solid ball over the course of the last several weeks. Cleveland is one of the better ATS teams this year, and it is coming off of a game in which it forced eight turnovers against the Pittsburgh Steelers. This should be a rare road win for the Browns all the way over at the Black Hole.

Browns @ Raiders Pick: Cleveland Browns -1
Browns @ Raiders Score Prediction: Cleveland 20 – Oakland 14

The 2012 NFL season is back, and here at Cappers Info, we’ll be looking at some of the best games on the docket each and every week, as we try to make the most money possible off of the NFL odds for the week. Join us on Sunday, as we make our Philadelphia Eagles @ Dallas Cowboys free picks and predictions for what should be a great clash on the gridiron.

Week 13 NFL Picks: Philadelphia Eagles @ Dallas Cowboys
Date: Sunday, December 2nd, 8:20 ET
Location: Dallas Cowboys Stadium, Arlington, TX
NFL Betting Odds: Dallas -10.5
Eagles vs. Cowboys On TV: NBC

There’s just no way that we can bet on the Eagles in this game. They just aren’t good, and they were beaten last week by a bad Carolina Panthers team at home. QB Michael Vick is out once again, and so are WR DeSean Jackson and RB LeSean McCoy. That means that we are going to have to see the offense revolving around QB Nick Foles, WR Riley Cooper, and RB Bryce Brown. Now, Brown had a great game against Carolina, but he did fumble the ball twice and might be a bit of a liability when push comes to shove. Dallas needs this one and can’t screw the pooch like it did last week against the Washington Redskins. QB Tony Romo and Head Coach Jason Garrett know that their jobs are on the line this year with the successes or failures of this team, and with the Giants two games ahead of them and this being the easiest game left on the schedule, this should be won and won easily.

Philadelphia Eagles @ Dallas Cowboys Pick: Dallas Cowboys -10.5
Philadelphia Eagles @ Dallas Cowboys Score Prediction: Dallas 31 – Philadelphia 14

The 2012 NFL schedule is back, and here at Cappers Info, we’ll be looking at some of the best games on the docket each and every week, as we try to make the most money possible off of the Week 13 odds for the NFL. Join us on Sunday, as we make our Cincinnati Bengals @ San Diego Chargers free picks and predictions for what should be a great clash on the gridiron.

Week 13 NFL Picks: Cincinnati Bengals @ San Diego Chargers
Date: Sunday, November 2nd, 4:25 ET
Location: Qualcomm Stadium, San Diego, CA
NFL Betting Odds: Cincinnati -1
Bengals @ Chargers On TV: CBS

A good chunk of the experts think that the Bengals are going to win this game, but we’re really not all that sure that that’s going to be the case. The home team has won two straight in this series from 2009 and 2010, and the underdog has covered three straight, including when the Bolts came to Cincy in ’06 and won 49-41. The offense for the Chargers has been woeful over the course of the last five and a half games, but that’s going to change on Sunday. The Cincinnati defense has played well in three straight games, but prior to that, the squad allowed 31, 24, and 34 points. There is a good chance that this is going to be a bit of a medium between the two of them, and if that turns out to be what happens, we think that it’ll be enough to save the season for the Chargers and put the Bengals on notice that they aren’t necessarily back in the playoff chase quite yet.

Bengals @ Chargers Pick: San Diego Chargers +1
Bengals @ Chargers Score Prediction: San Diego 24 – Cincinnati 21

5Dimes SportsbookOne of my favorite plays on the Sunday NFL odds pits the Denver Broncos against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. These two are going to be meeting at 4:05 p.m. ET at Sports Authority Field at Mile High, and I’m going to show you which side to make your NFL pick on for this great game.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-5, 8-2-1 ATS) +7.5
Denver Broncos (8-3, 6-5 ATS) -7.5
Over/Under 50.5

It’s kind of a square thing to do, but I really like playing this teaser on Sunday to bring the Broncos down to a pick ‘em and put it with the ‘over’. I know if you look at the history of this series, I see nothing but these lousy 16-13 and 13-10 types of games, but that just isn’t going to be this one this time around. Remember that the last time these two teams met was back in 2008, and both teams looked a whole heck of a lot different at that point than they do now.

The Broncos are going to be throwing the pigskin all over the place on Sunday. Tampa Bay ranks 32nd in the league against the pass, and we would be shocked to see QB Peyton Manning not throw the ball for at least 300, maybe even 400 yards if he has to. Of course, RB Knowshon Moreno isn’t going to be doing a whole heck of a lot, but he doesn’t have to in spite of the fact that Tampa Bay ranks first in the league against the run.

Over the course of the last four games at home, Manning and the Broncos have scored 30, 34, 21, and 25 points. If they do all of that again in this one, this is a game that they are going to win and win by a respectable amount of points. I don’t think that I’m going to need the teaser price, and I might throw together a small parlay as well, but let’s just stick with the teaser at this point.

Buccaneers @ Broncos Tips: 7-Point Teaser – Denver -0.5 w/ Over 43.5

NFL betting fans are running to their online sportsbooks to place their Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Denver Broncos bets and predictions, and here at Cappers Info, we are making our Sunday football picks for this encounter.

Week 13 Football Picks: Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Denver Broncos
Date: Sunday, December 2nd, 4:05 ET
Location: Sports Authority Field at Mile High
NFL Betting Lines: Denver -7.5
Buccaneers vs. Broncos On TV: FOX

The Bucs have been playing great ball of late, and the consensus seems to think that this is a heck of a lot of points to be giving a team that is fighting for its life to get into the playoffs this year. The Tampa Bay defense ranks dead last in the league against the pass, and that has to have QB Peyton Manning lighting up about his preparation for this one. Manning and WR Demaryius Thomas are likely to both have huge days when push comes to shove, and we think that the Tampa Bay offense is going to have some troubles going into a raucous stadium against a very underrated defense that is getting the job done and forcing a ton of miscues. As much as we love the job that Head Coach Greg Schiano has done this year for Tampa Bay, this team isn’t ready to come on the road and compete in a game like this one. It’s been awhile since the Bucs have been blown out of the water, but this feels like the game in which that is going to happen.

Buccaneers @ Broncos Pick: Denver Broncos -7.5
Tampa Bay @ Denver Score Prediction: Denver 31 – Tampa Bay 14

Making sports betting picks is one of my specialties, and today at Cappers Info, I’m making my Monday Football Tipster pick based upon the football trends and NFL odds for the New York Giants vs. Washington Redskins game on Monday, December 3rd at FedEx Field at 8:30 p.m. ET.

New York Giants (7-4, 5-5-1 ATS) -3
Washington Redskins (5-6, 6-5 ATS) +3
Over/Under 51

The Giants are very quietly a 3-8 team this year when it comes to ‘total’ NFL betting, and I’ve definitely taken notice of that. They are a team that generally gets better defensively when push comes to shove at the end of the campaign, and their ‘D’ should be able to put forth another solid effort this week against QB Robert Griffin III and the Redskins.

Washington has played well at times this year, especially after taking two games in a row by scoring 69 points combined in these two efforts. However, prior to that, the team scored just 13 against the Carolina Panthers and 12 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and it really doesn’t seem all that likely that they are going to do more than the 23 that they scored against the G-Men the first time around.

And then there’s the idea that the Giants are going to play suspect football as well. They came out full of sound and fury last week by beating the heck out of the Green Bay Packers, but this isn’t a game in which their backs are against the wall. Generally, that’s bad news for New York, which has played significantly worse football in games in which it has been favored by more than a field goal than games in which it was a dog. Getting to 51 is a heck of a challenge for two teams that know a lot about each other, and in the end, it feels like this is a game that should be falling short of the number, which would mark the fifth time in the last six games in this series that that were to happen.

Giants @ Redskins Tips: Under 51

BovadaThe Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys are set to kick off their Week 13 NFL betting clash on Sunday 12/2, and I’m set to make my football pick for the affair at Dallas Cowboys Stadium. Kickoff is set for 8:20 ET, and I’ve got the perfect NFL pick for this outstanding duel on the gridiron.

Philadelphia Eagles (3-8, 1-9-1 ATS) +11
Dallas Cowboys (5-6, 4-7 ATS) -11
Over/Under 43

Before I even bother to get started here in this game, I suppose that I should state the bitterly obvious. Dallas is the better of these two teams by a country mile, and the Eagles really shouldn’t have a chance to win this one with QB Nick Foles, RB Bryce Brown, and the combination of WR Jason Avant and WR Riley Cooper leading the way. If Dallas plays up to its potential, it will win this game and win it comfortable.

However, there’s a bit of a numbers game attached to this as well. The Eagles and the Arizona Cardinals, both of which are on massive losing streaks from an ATS standpoint, are due for covers in the biggest of ways, and they are both clearly going to do so at some point.

I also really think there is an issue here for the Cowboys getting a raw deal from the oddsmakers. They are laying more than they should because of the fact that they scored three defensive/special teams touchdowns the last time these two teams met in the City of Brotherly Love to blow open what was a 17-17 game at the end of the third quarter. They also played such terrible football defensively last week against RG3 and the Washington Redskins. This time around, I think that the best play is in an-game teaser, as the Eagles just aren’t scoring more than maybe 20 points – and that’s very, very generous – and they certainly shouldn’t lose this one by more than 18 either.

Eagles @ Cowboys Tips: 7-Point Teaser: Philadelphia +18 w/ Under 50

5Dimes SportsbookMy 2012 Beef O’Brady’s Bowl picks between the UCF Knights and the Ball State Cardinals are all set and ready to go here at Cappers Info. The Beef O’Brady’s Bowl kickoff starts at 7:30 p.m. ET at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, FL, and I’m going to be your expert college football handicapper that points you towards the winning bet for the UCF vs. Ball State game.

2012 Beef O’Brady’s Bowl
Ball State Cardinals (9-3, 9-3 ATS) +7
UCF Knights (9-4, 6-7 ATS) -7
Over/Under 61.5

Statistically speaking, the Knights and the Cardinals are really the same team. UCF would rather run the football, but a lot of its running comes out of the shotgun and other spread out formations with multiple receivers on the field. Ball State, like so many teams in the MAC, utilizes a pair of outside receivers to go with a quarterback that has some mobility, but would rather give it off to one of many backs in the system.

History doesn’t necessarily bode well for Cardinals in bowl games. They haven’t been to a bowl since 2008, and even when they have gotten to their five postseason games, they’re 0-5 to show for their work. In those games though, include some real high scorers, including an 82-point International Bowl against Rutgers and a 57-point GMAC Bowl against Tulsa. Historically, this Ball State defense has been run right through, but the team has done a significantly better job over the course of the last four games of the year, allowing no more than 27 points in any of those games. It’s going to take UCF getting into the 30s to have a shot at this ‘over’, and that just doesn’t seem all that likely to happen when push comes to shove.

5Dimes

Remember that Head Coach George O’Leary preaches to his team good defense and running the football. It’s a team that allowed 22.5 points per game this year and didn’t allow any of its final seven foes to score more than 24 points against it. With as badly as the Ball State defense has played this year though, this ‘total’ has been pushed artificially high. Yes, this is a game that is going to be played on turf in a fast tracked dome, and the Beef O’Brady’s Bowl has historically been a game that features plenty of offense, but when push comes to shove, this one just isn’t getting into the 60s.

Ball State vs. UCF Picks & Tips: Under 61.5

We know that we are going to be getting a huge number on Friday night with the Owls, and we think that we are going to take the points and run. Indiana has blown out these lesser teams to the tune of 40 points per game on average, and that’s a number that is just ridiculous and cannot be kept up. The Hoosiers laid 30 for the second time this year against Mount St. Mary’s and covered the number, which makes us believe that we might be getting even more in this one. However, keep an eye on G Greg Gantt, who is averaging 21.5 points per game this year. He is going to essentially be a one-man wrecking crew against the Hoosiers, and you can bet that he is going to be playing and running around the court like a madman, knowing that this is the biggest stage that he will have in his career in the team’s final game before Sun Belt play kicks off just after the holidays. In the end though, we know that we are taking a risk backing Gantt and the Owls, as he really is the only option that can keep this game alive, even against the third string players that will surely be deployed by the end of the night.

Florida Atlantic vs. Indiana Prediction: Indiana 84 – Florida Atlantic 68

Week 13 pointspreads are out, and here at Cappers Info, we are set to analyze the NFL odds for one of the top games on the slate. The Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Buffalo Bills odds are posted, and we are set to make our NFL picks for another great game.

Week 13 NFL Picks: Jacksonville Jaguars @ Buffalo Bills
Date: Sunday, December 2nd, 1:00 ET
Location: Ralph Wilson Stadium, Orchard Park, NY
Week 13 Betting Odds: Buffalo -6
Jacksonville vs. Buffalo Live TV: CBS

There is a lot of hope for fans in the Sunshine State that the Jaguars’ good form is going to carry through the rest of the year. However, we really think that the Bills are the better of these two teams by a comfortable margin. QB Chad Henne is a flash in the pan in our eyes, and unless all of a sudden, he has decidedly become the better quarterback between he and QB Blaine Gabbert, something that we aren’t sure is the case, this isn’t a long term answer. Buffalo has really started to play better ball. The team had the New England Patriots on the ropes, it beat the Miami Dolphins, and it had a shot against the Indianapolis Colts as well. The Bills have finally started to put together some defensive efforts, and they have picked up a lot of sacks with DE Mario Williams and company. We think that that will continue, as they take care of the Jags, who will return to their old ways after two straight solid showings.

Jaguars @ Bills Pick: Buffalo Bills -6
Jaguars @ Bills Score Prediction: Buffalo 24 – Jacksonville 13
