No one likes going to the Carrier Dome to play a game, and Eastern Michigan is most certainly going to be no exception to that rule. The team is going to try to find a way to slow down the Orange, but it is going to be tough to figure that out. EMU loves to slow the pace of the game down to that of a snail, and that is demonstrated by the fact that it has held all of its foes this year to 57 points or fewer. This isn’t Texas Pan-American or Eastern Illinois anymore, though. The Orange are regulars in the 70s and 80s offensively, and they are expected to win this one by an implied final score of around 72-47 or so. For as much as the Eagles are going to try to slow this down, we just don’t think that it is going to even remotely work. Last year when these two teams met in this venue, the Cuse dropped 84 points in an 84-48 romp. If the Eagles can just find a way to get to 50 in this one, this game should go flying past the ‘total’, and we want to lock this one in right now, knowing that the number is probably only going to rise over the course of the rest of the day.
