CappersInfo is back with its Arizona Wildcats vs. Clemson Tigers picks and predictions, as we look to give you all of the college basketball advice and tips that you need to beat your online sportsbook for this crucial Saturday night tilt.

College Basketball Picks: Arizona Wildcats @ Clemson Tigers
Date: Saturday, December 8th, 8:00 ET
Location: Littlejohn Coliseum, Clemson, SC
Arizona vs. Clemson Live TV: ESPN2

GT Bets Banner

A dangerous game for sure for the No. 8 ranked team in America, as the Wildcats have to go on the road for the just the second time this year, clear across the country to fight it out with a Clemson team that rarely loses at home. Sure, the Tigers have been beaten this year by Purdue, a team that they very well could rue the loss to when push comes to shove, but they also have some real talent behind them with players like F Devin Booker (11.9 PPG, 7.6 RPG) and F KJ McDaniels (11.9 PPG, 5.1 RPG, 2.2 BPG). Check the status of F Milton Jennings before pulling the trigger on this one, because if he is out, there is a real void in the Clemson frontcourt. Jennings was suspended two games ago and was benched for the win over South Carolina earlier this week. The backcourt is going to be the real key for Arizona, though. G Mark Lyons was the perfect addition for this team, and he, G Kevin Parrom, and G Nick Johnson make up a very talented backcourt that is going to be tough to beat in the Pac-12. The talent just isn’t there for Clemson, especially if Jennings is out, to keep up with Arizona, and we expect to see a point spread small enough worth backing.

Arizona vs. Clemson Pick: Arizona Wildcats
Arizona vs. Clemson Prediction: Arizona 74 – Clemson 65

Arkansas vs. Michigan Live TV: CBS

BetGuardian

Last year at the end of the non-conference slate, Arkansas knocked off Michigan by a bucket in Fayetteville. Now, the two teams are going to collide again at Crisler Arena, and the oddsmakers are probably going to make the mistake of making Big Blue a big, big favorite on the college basketball odds. The Hogs have been victims of a tough schedule thus far this year. Losing those three games to Arizona State (less forgivable), Wisconsin (most forgivable), and Syracuse (most forgivable) aren’t anything to apologize over, but the truth of the matter is that wins like this one are going to have to be had to have a chance to get the team into the NCAA Tournament this year. G BJ Young needs to shoot the ball better from the outside, but if that ever starts to happen, watch out! This could be a team to really look out for come March Madness. Michigan is the better of these two teams, and it is the deeper of the two teams for sure, but this time of year, we aren’t really fond of backing teams that are double digit favorites under most any circumstance. We think that Arkansas is a bit of an underrated team, and it will at least stick inside of the college basketball point spread on Saturday.

Arkansas vs. Michigan Pick: Arkansas Razorbacks
Arkansas vs. Michigan Prediction: Michigan 71 – Arkansas 64

The time is here for more of our sparkling CBB picks, as we look at the schedule for basketball for Saturday night. The Gonzaga Bulldogs and Illinois Fighting Illini will have it in a nationally televised game, which can be seen on the college basketball TV schedule on ESPN2.

Free College Hoops Picks: Illinois Fighting Illini @ Gonzaga Bulldogs
Date: Saturday, December 8th, 10:00 ET
Location: McCarthy Athletic Center, Spokane, WA
Illinois vs. Gonzaga Live TV: ESPN2

Going to Spokane is absolutely no fun for any team in the nation, but especially not for a Top 15 ranked team coming here in one of the biggest games of the year for the Zags. A very talented Gonzaga team has a real chance to be in the Final Four this year, and this is the first real chance to prove it. We love the combination of F Elias Harris, G Kevin Pangos, and G Gary Bell Jr., and we know that C Przemek Karnowski is bringing a heck of a lot to the table as well. G David Stockton, son of the great Gonzaga star, G John Stockton is playing just like his dad as well, dishing out a ton of assists and scoring points sparingly, but he is having a great time playing with this team. Don’t get us wrong, we think that the Illini are solid this year, but we don’t think that they are a legitimate Top 10 type of team. They really haven’t beaten all that much in the way of talented teams, though the wins over USC and Butler were nice in Maui. This is going to be a rude awakening we think, and a real notice to the rest of the country that the Zags are legit.

Illinois vs. Gonzaga Pick: Gonzaga Bulldogs
Illinois vs. Gonzaga Prediction: Gonzaga 81 – Illinois 65

CappersInfo is back with its Colorado Buffaloes vs. Kansas Jayhawks picks and predictions, as we look to give you all of the college basketball advice and tips that you need to beat your online sportsbook for this crucial Saturday night tilt.

College Basketball Picks: Colorado Buffaloes @ Kansas Jayhawks
Date: Saturday, December 8th, 2:00 ET
Location: Phog Allen Fieldhouse, Lawrence, KS
Colorado vs. Kansas Live TV: ESPN2

GT Bets Banner

The Buffs and Jayhawks know all about one another, as they shared the Big XII together for years before Colorado off and went to the Pac-12 for this year. The rivalry is continuing, but now, it’s a non-conference game. This is a very talented Colorado club that brings back a lot of talent from last year’s team. F Andre Roberson is a double-double man this year at 12.0 points and 11.5 boards per game, and his talents and abilities on the court are out of this world. G Spencer Dinwiddie is also a superior talent, and he’s a five-tool guy as well, averaging 17.8 points, 4.8 boards, 2.5 assists, 1.0 blocks, and 0.8 steals per night. Kansas returns C Jeff Withey, who played well last year in three games against the Buffaloes. He is also a double-double type of player, though he is only averaging 8.1 boards per game this year. In the end, Kansas struggled with Colorado at times, winning by four on the road and seven in the Big XII Tournament when these two met up. The Buffaloes aren’t going to be intimated to go into the Phog, and though they won’t win this game, they could push a Top 10 team in the land.

Colorado vs. Kansas Pick: Colorado Buffaloes
Colorado vs. Kansas Prediction: Kansas 77 – Colorado 74

Our official Temple Owls vs. Duke Blue Devils pick is here at Cappers Info, as two great teams get set to square off on the college basketball odds. Join us for all of the great NCAA basketball predictions for what should be another great game on the college basketball schedule tonight!

Free College Basketball Picks: Temple Owls vs. Duke Blue Devils

Location: Izod Center, East Rutherford, NJ
Temple vs. Duke Live TV: ESPN

BetGuardian

There have been times in the past that the Owls have been able to stick around with teams like the Dookies. Unfortunately for Head Coach Fran Dunphy, we really don’t think that this year is one of those years. The team is good and will be in the NCAA Tournament, but there really is no expectation to win this game or to beat any of the big boys in the dance. That being said, it’s a 6-0 team that has won three road games, but this is a test like none other. Duke has been thrown just about everything this year, from Ohio State to Kentucky to Louisville, and it has passed every test with flying colors. The Owls just don’t have anyone that is going to be able to body it up with F Mason Plumlee, who is one of the few in the nation that is averaging a double-double per game over the course of the whole season. These two teams are relatively level against each other from an ATS standpoint over the course of the last several years, but we know this one is going to be a romp from the start.

Temple vs. Duke Pick: Duke Blue Devils
Temple vs. Duke Prediction: Duke 77 – Temple 61

The Army-Navy Game is one of the great traditions of the season, and today, we are making our Army vs. Navy picks and predictions and trying to beat the Army-Navy Game odds here at Cappers Info.

Army-Navy Game Picks: Army Black Knights vs. Navy Midshipmen
Date: Saturday, December 8th, 3:00 ET
Location: Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, PA
Army-Navy Game Betting Odds: Navy -7
Army vs. Navy Live TV Coverage: CBS

The Army-Navy Game is always a fantastic clash, and the team that figures out how to stop the run better than the other almost always is going to take the spoils in this battle of two triple option clubs. The battle of these two quarterbacks is quite interesting to say the least. QB Keenan Reynolds has the best arm that a quarterback in this game has had in quite some time, as he has thrown for 754 yards and eight TDs against just one pick in limited action as a full-time starter. QB Trent Steelman isn’t the most talented man in the world, but he has been a four-year starter for the Cadets, and he has rushed for over 1,100 yards and now has the most touchdowns in the history of Army football (44).

Defense in this one is going to be interesting as well. The Midshipmen have been all over the place. One week, they come out and shut down the Texas State Bobcats. Another week, they allow 41 to the Troy Trojans. Army has been consistently bad defensively, allowing over 220 rushing yards per game, and this is the difference between a team that is going to a bowl game (Navy) and one that isn’t (Army). Though the Temple Owls don’t run a triple option offense, they do run the ball and run it a ton. In the most recent game for the Black Knights, they allowed over 500 rushing yards to the Owls, including giving up seven touchdowns to RB Montel Harris.

In the end, the Black Knights have been getting closer and closer to beating Navy, but in the end, they have lost 10 in a row. As much as we would love to see that change just to see the Cadets get their hands on the Commander-In-Chief’s Trophy, it isn’t going to happen. The Middies just have the significantly better defense, and they’re going to get the job done by just a bit more than the Army vs. Navy point spread allows for.

Army vs. Navy Pick: Navy Midshipmen -7
Army-Navy Game Score Prediction: Navy 31 – Army 20

December 7th, 2012 By Jack Wilshire

I’ve been studying the ‘total’ for the Army-Navy Game odds for quite some time, and I’m ready to make my Army-Navy Game picks for the clash between the Navy Midshipmen and the Army Black Knights. The Army vs. Navy kickoff is set for 3:00 p.m. ET at Lincoln Financial Field, and I’m going to show you which way to bet on college football to make your CFB pick on for this great game.

2012 Army-Navy Game
Army Black Knights (2-9, 3-8 ATS) +7
Navy Midshipmen (7-4, 4-7 ATS) -7
Over/Under 55.5

The Black Knights and Midshipmen have combined for 48 points or fewer in six straight games between them, but I really think that this is the year that the triple option really gets going for both of these sides to the point that there are enough points that hit the board to finally push this one past the number.

This really is more a bet about Army than anything else. The Cadets allowed 63 points the last time that we saw them against the Temple Owls, and RB Montel Harris rumbled for seven touchdowns against them. They allowed at least 21 points in every single game this year, and they allowed at least 30 in eight of their 11 games. On top of that, QB Trent Steelman has a heck of a lot of experience in these games, and he has run the triple offense as much as anyone else has in the history of college football with four full years of games under his belt. He has 44 rushing TDs to his name in his career, an Army record, and he is sure to add to that on Saturday.

Navy has the better defense of these two, but it also has an offense that at least has a level of explosiveness to it. Yes, Steelman and RB Raymond Maples are both 1,000-yard rushers for the Black Knights, and the Middies don’t have anyone on the team that has more than the 750 rushing yards of RB Gee Gee Greene. However, QB Keenan Reynolds has thrown for eight TDs and just one pick, and he has three games this year with triple digits worth of passing yards. Three backs, including Reynolds, have at least 585 yards on the ground, and four others have at least 150 yards. In the end, the Midshipmen will get into the 30s, and Steelman and the Black Knights should be able to keep up in a game that should end up ultimately exceeding the ‘total’ by a relatively comfortable margin.

Army vs. Navy Picks & Tips: Over 55.5

NBA picks are one of our specialties here at Cappers Info, and we are set to make our free Los Angeles Lakers @ Oklahoma City Thunder picks and predictions for what should be a great clash on Friday night at Chesapeake Energy Arena.

Free NBA Picks: Los Angeles Lakers @ Oklahoma City Thunder
Date: Friday, December 7th, 9:30 ET
Location: Chesapeake Energy Arena, Oklahoma City, OK
NBA Betting Odds: Oklahoma City -7.5
Lakers @ Thunder On TV Live: ESPN

Ever just get the feeling that we are going to see something truly special? That’s what we tend to think is going to happen in the first regular season battle here between the Thunder and the Lakers. G Kobe Bryant has been scoring points like mad in recent games, and there’s no reason to think that he isn’t going to be amped up to take out the team that took his club out of the playoffs last year in five games. But of course, the combination of F Kevin Durant and G Russell Westbrook could be in for some good times, too. The three regular season meetings last year were all fun games for sure. Head Coach Mike D’Antoni is going to make sure that both of these teams are flying up and down the court, and the end result is going to be well beyond 210 points in our eyes. The Lakers have scored at least 103 in three straight, and Oklahoma City has scored at least 114 in four of its six games on this six-game winning streak both from an SU and an ATS perspective.

Lakers @ Thunder Pick: Over 210
Lakers @ Thunder Final Score Prediction: Thunder 124 – Lakers 116

NBA betting action continues on Friday night from Wells Fargo Center, where the Philadelphia 76ers will host the Boston Celtics in a battle on the NBA betting odds. Don’t miss out on this one, which should be a great clash. The NBA television schedule shows this 7:00 ET tip happening on ESPN.

Free Basketball Picks: Boston Celtics @ Philadelphia 76ers
Date: Friday, December 7th, 7:00 ET
Location: Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia, PA
NBA Betting Odds: Boston -1
Celtics vs. 76ers Live TV: ESPN

UCABet Banner

The 76ers have played some atrocious offensive basketball over the course of the last few nights, scoring just 88 points in both of their last two games. Boston was in pretty bad shape without G Rajon Rondo, but in the last four games in which he has started and finished, the team has put up 104, 116, 108, and 100 points. Though the Sixers have shown the potential for that type of output offensively, they just haven’t done it consistent enough for our liking. These two teams genuinely hate each other, and having the NBA schedule a back to back for them probably won’t help matters by the end of the day on Saturday. The only reason that we are going to go with Philly in this one though, is because of how poorly the C’s have played here in this building over the course of the last year. Remember that the C’s lost twice at this venue in the playoffs last year and once in the regular season as well. Tomorrow will be a better day for Boston, but this one will be lost.

Celtics @ 76ers Pick: Philadelphia 76ers +1
Celtics @ 76ers Prediction: 76ers 98 – Celtics 95

CappersInfo is back with its Harvard Crimson vs. Connecticut Huskies picks and predictions, as we look to give you all of the college basketball advice and tips that you need to beat your online sportsbook for this crucial Friday night tilt.

College Basketball Picks: Harvard Crimson @ Connecticut Huskies
Date: Friday, December 7th, 7:00 ET
Location: Rentschler Arena, Storrs, CT
Harvard vs. Connecticut Live TV: ESPN Full Court

GT Bets Banner

UConn and Harvard are going to be meeting for the fourth straight year, and the Huskies hope that they have the same type of success in this one as they did in the last three. They’re 3-0 SU and 2-1 ATS in those games. Connecticut was beaten by the NC State Wolfpack a few nights ago, but we’re not really letting that bother us all that much. This is still a solid team that has the ability to win games by oodles of points when push comes to shove. Harvard has won two in a row over the Boston College Eagles and Fordham Rams, but this is a much different game. These two do have a common foe in the Vermont Catamounts. Harvard lost at home to the Catamounts 85-78. UConn won 67-49. This is still a very talented Harvard team, but the squad just isn’t as good as it has been in the last two years or so, and it will show on Friday when UConn rips it apart to the tune of a double digit victory.

Harvard vs. Connecticut Pick: Connecticut -9
Harvard vs. Connecticut Prediction: Connecticut 78 – Harvard 65

The Miami Heat and the Dallas Mavericks are going to square off in a Thursday night NBA betting affair on December 20th. Join us here at Cappers Info, as we make our predictions for basketball for what should be a great game on Thursday.

NBA Predictions: Miami Heat @ Dallas Mavericks
Date: Thursday, December 20th, 9:30 ET
Location: American Airlines Center, Dallas, TX
NBA Betting Odds: Miami -5.5
Heat vs. Mavericks NBA TV Schedule: TNT

The Heat have come back and won two games in a row by double digits after getting shocked by the Golden State Warriors last Wednesday. However, the last time this team won a road game was way back on November 17th, and the team is just 3-3 SU and 2-4 ATS over the course of its last six on the road this year. Dallas meanwhile, has to be thrilled to be back at home, where it has gone 3-0 SU and ATS since the month of December started. G Derek Fisher is out tonight, and C Brendan Wright and F Elton Brand might be joining him on the sidelines, but this is still a team that is plenty deep to get the job done. It means that men like F Jae Crowder and C Bernard James are going to have to play some additional minutes, but that doesn’t scare us. We know that we’re going to need to see a big performance out of G OJ Mayo and out of G Darren Collison to try to keep up with F LeBron James and company. It’s the biggest game of the year for the Mavs, and they are going to try to do everything that they can to at least keep this one close. Don’t be shocked if they win it outright.

Heat @ Mavericks NBA Pick: Dallas Mavericks +5.5
Heat @ Mavericks Score Prediction: Mavericks 100 – Heat 96

CappersInfo is back with its Texas Longhorns vs. Michigan State Spartans picks and predictions, as we look to give you all of the college basketball advice and tips that you need to beat your online sportsbook for this crucial Saturday night tilt.

College Basketball Picks: Texas Longhorns @ Michigan State Spartans
Date: Saturday, December 22nd, 2:00 ET
Location: Jack Breslin Student Events Center, East Lansing, MI
Texas vs. Michigan State Live TV: ESPN2

GT Bets Banner

For weeks and weeks, the Longhorns were considered one of the bigger jokes in the country. They really made a name for themselves when they knocked off the North Carolina Tar Heels by 18 point in Austin just a few days ago though, and now, they might be considered a worthy team of going into East Lansing and competing with the Spartans. Not so fast. The Spartans are playing well, and they have just two losses on the campaign. They haven’t beaten a team of this caliber in quite some time though, and they’ll be thrilled to have the challenge for sure. Head Coach Tom Izzo thrives in games like this, and his team is 8-2 ATS in its last 10 games against Big XII opponents. G Sheldon McClellan and G Javan Felix aren’t going to be enough to keep up with the likes of G Keith Appling, F Derrick Nix, and the rest of the Spartans, who are ready for a signature victory to carry them into the holidays.

Texas vs. Michigan State Pick: Michigan State Spartans
Texas vs. Michigan State Prediction: Michigan State 68 – Texas 54
