NBA picks are one of our specialties here at Cappers Info, and we are set to make our free Los Angeles Lakers @ New York Knicks picks and predictions for what should be a great clash on Thursday night at Madison Square Garden.

Free NBA Picks: Los Angeles Lakers @ New York Knicks
Date: Thursday, December 13th, 8:00 ET
Location: Madison Square Garden, New York, NY
NBA Betting Odds: New York -6.5
Lakers @ Knicks On TV Live: TNT

Are the Lakers this bad and this dysfunctional, or are they really going to be getting after it now that they are on the road? The spotlight is shining right now, and there is no doubt that that spotlight is going to be brighter on G Kobe Bryant right now more than perhaps ever before, as he has to try to right the ship for this season, starting on Thursday night on basketball’s biggest stage, Madison Square Garden. There is every reason in the world to think that LA is going to lose this game based upon recent form, but when you consider the fact that Bryant has been a dominating force while playing here at the Garden in his career, the fact that Head Coach Mike D’Antoni is coming back to the team that fired him last year, and C Dwight Howard is playing under the bright lights in the city that he wanted to be playing in before getting dealt to Tinseltown, maybe… just maybe… things can go the way of the men in purple and gold on Thursday night.

Lakers @ Knicks Pick: Los Angeles Lakers +6.5
Lakers @ Knicks Final Score Prediction: Lakers 117 – Knicks 112

NBA betting action continues on Thursday night from Phillips Arena, where the Atlanta Hawks will host the Charlotte Bobcats in a battle on the NBA betting odds. Don’t miss out on this one, which should be a great clash. The NBA television schedule shows this 7:30 ET tip happening on NBA TV.

Free Basketball Picks: Charlotte Bobcats @ Atlanta Hawks
Date: Thursday, December 13th, 7:30 ET
Location: Phillips Arena, Atlanta, GA
NBA Betting Odds: Atlanta -10.5
Bobcats vs. Hawks Live TV: NBA TV

The Bobcats are becoming more and more competitive as the games go by, and they are proving that they are taking some steps in the right direction this year. For example, they were able to stick within 10 points of the Hawks in both games this year to date. Last year, they were beaten by 27 and 30 in the last two clashes versus Atlanta. Charlotte has lost nine in a row yes, and there have been some ugly games in there as well. However, these Hawks aren’t going to blow out the Bobcats by 45 like Oklahoma City did or by 30 like San Antonio did. Take those two games away, and the average margin of defeat in the last seven games for the Bobcats is just 5.7 points per game. That’s more than good enough for us to want to take Charlotte and all of these points, especially with Atlanta just wrapping up a brutal road trip in which three very tough games were played.

Bobcats @ Hawks Pick: Charlotte Bobcats +10.5
Bobcats @ Hawks Prediction: Hawks 99 – Bobcats 93

NFL betting fans are running to their online sportsbooks to place their Cincinnati Bengals vs. Philadelphia Eagles bets and predictions, and here at Cappers Info, we are making our Thursday football picks for this encounter.

Week 15 Football Picks: Cincinnati Bengals @ Philadelphia Eagles
Date: Thursday, December 13th, 8:20 ET
Location: Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, PA
NFL Betting Lines: Cincinnati -4.5
Bengals vs. Eagles On TV: NFL Network

The last Thursday Night Football game of the year is going to be a dud of a game in all likelihood, as we really don’t think that the Bengals or the Eagles are all that great. However, with a gun to our head and a decision to be made, we think that the Cincinnati defense is going to have enough shine. QB Nick Foles caught lightning in a bottle last week, and he threw for over 380 yards on a bad Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ secondary. It was also his only multi-touchdown game of his career after throwing just a total of two TDs in his first four outings. The Eagles haven’t forced a turnover in over a month, and the team only has three INTs since picking off QB Brandon Weeden four times in the opening game of the campaign. WR AJ Green hasn’t visited the end zone in three straight games, and he is due to get back there. With as porous against top receivers as the Eagles have been this year – and we saw that last week as well against WR Vincent Jackson – this could be a one-sided game from the get go. The fans are going to turn against this team in a heartbeat for sure.

Bengals @ Eagles Pick: Cincinnati Bengals -4.5
Cincinnati @ Philadelphia Score Prediction: Cincinnati 28 – Philadelphia 17

It hasn’t been a good start to the season for the Vols, as they have really been beaten and beaten up thanks to a real lack of talent on the offensive side of the court. The team is averaging just 61.4 points per game this year, and save for F Jarnell Stokes and G Trae Golden, there isn’t another player on the team averaging double digits in scoring. F Jordan McRae has some potential, and F Kenny Hall at least chips in defensively, but the team is generally a wreck right now. Wichita State is playing stout defense, allowing just 58.8 points per game this year. The team is stacked, and it is going to be one of the favored side to win the Valley this year along with Creighton. Watch out for G Demetric Williams, who is knocking down 52.9 percent of his long range shots. Only F Cleanthony Early and F Carl Hall are averaging double digits in scoring, but the style that this team plays more than makes up for that. The problem that the Shockers have is that they really haven’t played a road game like this on the campaign. We think that the Vols are going to get their third win in a row at home to start the season with a stifling defensive effort.

Wichita State vs. Tennessee Pick: Tennessee Volunteers
Wichita State vs. Tennessee Prediction: Tennessee 59 – Wichita State 53

The San Antonio Spurs and the Portland Trail Blazers are going to square off in a Thursday night NBA betting affair on December 13th. Join us here at Cappers Info, as we make our predictions for basketball for what should be a great game on Thursday.

NBA Predictions: San Antonio Spurs @ Portland Trail Blazers
Date: Thursday, December 13th, 10:30 ET
Location: Rose Garden, Portland, OR
NBA Betting Odds: San Antonio -5.5
Spurs vs. Trail Blazers NBA TV Schedule: TNT

Are the Spurs really crashing back to earth this year? They were beaten by the Utah Jazz last night in an ugly 99-96 loss, and we have to remember that they have played a heck of a lot of basketball over the course of just the last three days and have done a lot of traveling as well. The home team has won seven of the last nine in this series SU and is 6-3 ATS in those games. Portland might only be 5-4 SU at home this year, but that 99-80 loss to the Sacramento Kings a few nights ago really might have shaken up the club. Historically, the Rose Garden is a very tough place to come play ball, and the Spurs are going to find that out once again on Thursday night. It sounds hopeful that both G Wesley Matthews and F Nicolas Batum are going to be back in the lineup tonight for the Trail Blazers, and that’s only going to make the case that much stronger to go with the hosts over a weary San Antonio team that is clearly one of the most overrated teams from an ATS standpoint over the course of the last year and a half.

Spurs @ Trail Blazers NBA Pick: Portland Trail Blazers +5.5
Spurs @ Trail Blazers Score Prediction: Trail Blazers 100 – Spurs 94

BovadaThe Cincinnati Bengals and the Philadelphia Eagles are set to kick off their Week 15 NFL betting clash on Thursday 12/13, and I’m set to make my football pick for the affair at Lincoln Financial Field. Kickoff is set for 8:30 ET, and I’ve got the perfect NFL pick for this outstanding duel on the gridiron.

Cincinnati Bengals (7-6, 6-6-1 ATS) -4.5
Philadelphia Eagles (4-9, 3-9-1 ATS) +4.5
Over/Under 44.5

Another nice spot for a Thursday night tease. The whole betting public is taking the road team and laying the points, and that just makes me chuckle. I really don’t think that there is that much of a difference in these two squads, save for the fact that the Bengals have a pass rush and have forced some turnovers this year, and the Eagles just don’t. Granted, that’s a huge part to the game, but talent for talent elsewhere on the field, I don’t believe that it’s all that much of a difference.

I also think that this could be a lower scoring game. The Bengals haven’t gotten WR AJ Green into the end zone in quite some time, and that could be a big difference in this one. Cincinnati has scored just 39 points over the course of its last two games combined, though I also do need to note that the defense has allowed just 49 total points in the last four games and an average of 12.4 points per game in the last five.

This has traditionally been a higher scoring series that the Bengals have covered, but that’s all ancient past to me. The Eagles have kept three straight games within double digits, and they should be able to do that once again in this one come hell or high water. Go with the hosts getting 10.5 and the ‘under’ at even money.

Bengals @ Eagles Tips: 6-Point Teaser (+100) – Eagles +10.5 w/ Under 50.5
