5Dimes SportsbookOne of my favorite plays on the Sunday NFL odds pits the Houston Texans against the Indianapolis Colts. These two are going to be meeting at 1:00 p.m. ET at Reliant Stadium, and I’m going to show you which side to make your NFL pick on for this great game.

Indianapolis Colts (9-4, 9-4 ATS) +10
Houston Texans (11-2, 8-5 ATS) -10
Over/Under 48

Doesn’t this just feel like a game in which the Houston defense finally shows up and shuts down someone of note for a full 60 minutes? The Texans haven’t really had a stunning defensive game, save for the win over the Tennessee Titans in over a month, and there have been some downright brutal performances as well. This unit was embarrassed and brutalized last week by the Patriots, but DE JJ Watt was held in check, something that he shouldn’t be this weekend.

The Colts have been playing shootout after shootout, but their offense hasn’t been as solid on the road as it has been at home for the most part. Take away the last four minutes of that game against the Detroit Lions two weeks ago, and the Colts would be averaging just 20.2 points per game on the road since Bruce Arians took over as the team’s interim head coach. Those numbers are solid, but they have largely come in relatively easy games, not teams like this one.

In the end, I also have to remember that the last three in this series have all failed to reach the ‘total’. This is an artificially high number right now between two teams that will probably get into the low 20s, but not a heck of a lot more than that. This should feel like a playoff game, and I expect a very tight 24-20 type of game as a result after some late scoring pushes the ‘total’ at least close, but not nearly there.

Colts @ Texans Tips: Under 48

Week 15 pointspreads are out, and here at Cappers Info, we are set to analyze the NFL odds for one of the top games on the slate. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. New Orleans Saints odds are posted, and we are set to make our NFL picks for another great game.

Week 15 NFL Picks: Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New Orleans Saints
Date: Sunday, December 16th, 1:00 ET
Location: Mercedes Benz Superdome, New Orleans, LA
Week 15 Betting Odds: New Orleans -3.5
Tampa Bay vs. New Orleans Live TV: FOX

If you want to see the faces of deflated players, look no further than Tampa Bay, where the Bucs had to feel like their whole season came crashing down at the hands of the Eagles last Sunday. Now, the team is in a heck of a lot of trouble, and even winning out probably isn’t going to get the job done. The Saints knew that this season was going to be tough, and a 5-8 record exemplifies just that. However, they’re not done fighting for sure, and they are going to have a real chance to put up gobs of numbers against a Tampa Bay team that ranks dead last in the league in pass defense. If you thought that Brees was able to put up some great numbers against some of the other teams in the league, wait til you see what he does to the Bucs at home. The 377 yards and four TDs from the first meeting of these two teams was nothing.

Buccaneers @ Saints Pick: New Orleans Saints -3.5
Buccaneers @ Saints Score Prediction: New Orleans 41 – Tampa Bay 27

The New York Giants and the Atlanta Falcons are going to square off in Week 15 of the NFL betting campaign. Join us here at Cappers Info, as we make our predictions for football for what should be a great game on Sunday.

Week 15 NFL Picks: New York Giants @ Atlanta Falcons
Date: Sunday, December 16th, 1:00 ET
Location: Georgia Dome, Atlanta, GA
Week 15 Betting Odds: Atlanta -1.5
Giants vs. Falcons Live TV: FOX

The Falcons have been hearing all week long that they just don’t have the potential to beat the best teams in the league. They’re going to finish out the year with somewhere between 12 and 14 wins in all likelihood, and they’re probably going to be the No. 1 seed in the NFC, but few really believe that this team can get the job done against the big boys across the NFL. The Giants are one of those big boys, and they’re actually getting right around 60% of the betting action on their side in spite of the fact that the line is creeping in the other direction. We think that the Falcons are sharp, and that now is the time that QB Matt Ryan steps it up and gets the job done against one of these truly elite teams. Look for Atlanta to get some revenge for last year’s 24-2 playoff loss by putting up a solid number on the Giants on Sunday to potentially wrap up the top spot in the NFC.

Giants @ Falcons Pick: Atlanta Falcons -1.5
Giants @ Falcons Score Prediction: Atlanta 27 – New York 21

The 2012 NFL schedule is back, and here at Cappers Info, we’ll be looking at some of the best games on the docket each and every week, as we try to make the most money possible off of the Week 15 odds for the NFL. Join us on Sunday, as we make our Green Bay Packers @ Chicago Bears free picks and predictions for what should be a great clash on the gridiron.

Week 15 NFL Picks: Green Bay Packers @ Chicago Bears
Date: Sunday, December 16th, 1:00 ET
Location: Soldier Field, Chicago, IL
NFL Betting Odds: Green Bay -3
Packers @ Bears On TV: FOX

How crazy does this game look? Way back in Week 2, the Packers were seemingly the desperate 0-1 team that needed to win that game to keep the entire ship from sinking. They were playing against a Chicago team that looked really impressive in Week 1, and it really seemed like this was the moment where the Bears had a chance to put their foot on the throats of their division rivals, albeit it early in the season. Now what do we have? We have a Green Bay team that has looked great recently, playing against a Chicago team that looks like the sky is falling, and it is the Packers that have a chance to put their foot on the throat of the Bears. Sounds familiar, right? Just one problem. The Packers have always been the better of these two teams, and they have always been the better team by a comfortable margin. Bid adieu to the Bears, probably once and for all when this one is lost and some of the other 7-6 and 6-7 teams win on Sunday.

Packers @ Bears Pick: Green Bay Packers -3
Packers @ Bears Score Prediction: Green Bay 31 – Chicago 17

Join us on Sunday, as we make our Jacksonville Jaguars @ Miami Dolphins free picks and predictions for what should be a great clash on the gridiron.

Week 15 NFL Picks: Jacksonville Jaguars @ Miami Dolphins
Date: Sunday, December 16th, 1:00 ET
Location: Sun Life Stadium, Miami, FL
NFL Betting Odds: Miami -7.5
Jaguars @ Dolphins On TV: CBS

Our apologies to anyone that is stuck watching this game on Sunday (though at least that means you’re not stuck with KC/Oakland…). This game flat out stinks. The Jaguars have been brutal offensively all year long, and the Dolphins, for as competitive as they have been at times, have still lost five out of six and have only covered two of those six. However, here’s the question that we’re asking to the oddsmakers in this one. When’s the last time the Dolphins beat anybody by more than a touchdown? Here’s a hint: It has only happened twice this year, and those came against the Jets on the road 30-9 and the Raiders at home 35-13. This is a much different game against a much different team. The Jaguars at least stay remotely competitive in most of their games, and they’ve been awfully good on the road this year. Go with the Jags and the points in what could be a relatively close game.

Jaguars @ Dolphins Pick: Jacksonville Jaguars +7.5
Jaguars @ Dolphins Score Prediction: Miami 20 – Jacksonville 17

The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Dallas Cowboys are going to square off in Week 15 of the NFL betting campaign. Join us here at Cappers Info, as we make our predictions for football for what should be a great game on Sunday.

Week 15 NFL Picks: Pittsburgh Steelers @ Dallas Cowboys
Date: Sunday, December 16th, 4:25 ET
Location: Dallas Cowboys Stadium, Arlington, TX
Week 15 Betting Odds: Pittsburgh -2
Steelers vs. Cowboys Live TV: CBS

This is the most important game of the year for both of these teams to date. The good news for the Steelers is that losing this game isn’t the end of the world, but it does make next week’s game against the Bengals one that absolutely has to be won. Dallas though, is going to be in a heck of a lot of trouble when push comes to shove if it falls short in this one. The Cowboys are a game back of what amounts to be three teams, at least one of which they need to catch, and they have to watch out for the Washington Redskins who are level with them, and others as well. Unfortunately for Dallas, this is a big time game, and QB Tony Romo doesn’t win the big time games when push comes to shove. Pittsburgh is coming off of a brutal loss to the San Diego Chargers last week, and it is going to come out swinging in this one. Don’t be shocked if the hometown crowd is booing the Cowboys off of the field on Sunday afternoon.

Steelers @ Cowboys Pick: Dallas Cowboys -1.5
Steelers @ Cowboys Score Prediction: Pittsburgh 26 – Dallas 14

Making sports betting picks is one of my specialties, and today at Cappers Info, I’m making my Sunday Football Tipster pick based upon the football trends and NFL odds for the San Francisco 49ers vs. New England Patriots game on Sunday, December 16th at Gillette Stadium at 8:20 p.m. ET.

San Francisco 49ers (9-3-1, 8-5 ATS) +4.5
New England Patriots (10-3, 8-5 ATS) -4.5
Over/Under 47

We’ve seen this script time and time again with the Saints. Every time that they are expected to be down, they come back fighting and rise up. The truth of the matter is that they aren’t even down at this point. They’re on the road against a team that figures to be the best in football this year, but that truly just isn’t the case, and it is going to show on Sunday night.

The 49ers went on the road way back in Week 1 and beat the Packers. They went on the road in the middle of the year and beat the surging Saints. So why can’t they go on the road and beat the Patriots? The truth of the matter is that I’m not setting myself up for that, as I’m going to set up a teaser around them for this one, but I still think that there is a real possibility that this could be a shouldn’t-be-so-shocking shocker.

Giving the 49ers 11.5 points in a game is stupid. Putting a ‘total’ on a New England game at just 40 is stupid, too. I’m realistic to the point that I know that QB Tom Brady will throw his couple touchdowns, and RB Stevan Ridley will probably end up getting one as well. But San Francisco is going to score some points, too, and it is going to show on the final scoreboard on Sunday. Perhaps New England does go on to win this game, but the way that the 49ers ball, the visitors are not losing by double digits.

49ers @ Patriots Tips: 7-Point Teaser: San Francisco +11.5 w/ Over 40

The 2012 NFL season is back, and here at Cappers Info, we’ll be looking at some of the best games on the docket each and every week, as we try to make the most money possible off of the NFL odds for the week. Join us on Sunday, as we make our Detroit Lions @ Arizona Cardinals free picks and predictions for what should be a great clash on the gridiron.

Week 15 NFL Picks: Detroit Lions @ Arizona Cardinals
Date: Sunday, December 16th, 4:05 ET
Location: University of Phoenix Stadium, Phoenix, AZ
NFL Betting Odds: Detroit -6.5
Lions vs. Cardinals On TV: FOX

The Lions are laying a touchdown in this game on the road, and that isn’t something that happens all the time. They really aren’t good enough to be laying this type of spread under any sort of circumstance, even playing against a team that just lost 58-0 to the Seattle Seahawks. What we have to remember though, is that Detroit has lost five straight games and has failed to cover four of the five. There is a point in this season that the team is just going to give up, and we might be at that point. Arizona has clearly already mailed it in, but if you take out that loss to the Seahawks last year, the team has only lost by 1, 14, and 4 over the course of the previous four games. Also remember that four of these last five have been on the road, and the team is going to be back at home in this one. The Cardinals have a defense that is good enough to get the job done, and this unit will prove to pull the upset on Sunday.

Detroit Lions @ Arizona Cardinals Pick: Arizona Cardinals +6.5
Detroit Lions @ Arizona Cardinals Score Prediction: Arizona 24 – Detroit 23

BovadaThe Kansas City Chiefs and the Oakland Raiders are set to kick off their Week 15 NFL betting clash on Sunday 12/16, and I’m set to make my football pick for the affair at the O.co Coliseum. Kickoff is set for 4:25 ET, and I’ve got the perfect NFL pick for this outstanding duel on the gridiron.

Kansas City Chiefs (2-11, 5-8 ATS) +3
Oakland Raiders (3-10, 3-10 ATS) -3
Over/Under 44

I swear that there are only pockets of fans around the country that truly care about the outcome of this game, and the mass majority of those people bet on it. That’s sure as heck the only reason that I care about the Raiders or the Chiefs right now, as both of these teams are just playing for draft positioning this year (and of course, Oakland is only playing really for first round draft positioning, knowing that it traded its second round draft pick for this year as a part of the package that brought QB Carson Palmer to Oakland).

Hear me out on this one. The Oakland defense has been getting slightly less atrocious over the course of the last few weeks, but the unit is still atrocious no less. Even though the point production is down for foes, yardage sure as heck isn’t, as three straight foes have gotten at least 420+ yards against the Raiders. Kansas City’s offense hasn’t been great at all, and the loss of WR Dwayne Bowe is going to hurt. However, QB Brady Quinn is clearly the better of the two quarterbacks, and RB Jamaal Charles has been running like a madman over the course of these last few weeks.

So for once, I expect to see a relatively high scoring game that might turn out to be some fun even though both of these teams are better served winning than losing. That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it!

Chiefs @ Raiders Tips: Over 44
