It’s going to be interesting to see how the Hawkeyes come out of the blocks this one. They’re 9-1 SU and 5-1 ATS this year at home, but they really haven’t played the best schedule in the world to date. The club has played two games in the Big Ten, getting beaten by the Indiana Hoosiers here at home and getting blown to bits by the Michigan Wolverines on the road, and now comes the type of crunch time game that needs to be won to get into the NCAA Tournament. Michigan State isn’t afraid of going on the road, but in the three road games that the team has played this year, it is 0-3 ATS and just 1-2 SU, and that isn’t going to cut it when push comes to shove. Keep a very close eye on Roy-Devyn Marble, who is averaging 15.5 points per game this year for the Hawkeyes. He put up 30 against Northern Iowa a month ago, and 27 shortly thereafter against South Carolina State. The potential is most certainly there for the Hawkeyes, and we think that they are going to come to the table with a big game tonight, one that Michigan State just isn’t going to be able to keep up with when push comes to shove.
