The Kings are a team that is 10-0 on the road this year in the playoffs. Many are thinking that the Devils can once again make this a series, and yes, if they play as well as they did at times in Game 3, especially in that third period, they are indeed going to end up forcing this series back to Tinseltown. That being said, we have seen this out of the Kings before. They won the first three games of all of the series that they played in these playoffs, yet they went just 1-3 in the Game 5s in those series. After all of the teams won Game 4 on the road, the NHL experts out there figured that the series was all of a sudden back in the balance. Not so much. Los Angeles has finished off every single series on the road in Game 5. This should be no exception. Back the Kings to lift Lord Stanley’s Cup for the first time on enemy ice in the Garden State on Saturday night.
