The Nuggets and the Hawks are two very similar teams. Neither squad really legitimately has a star on it, but both teams have a great balance of men that can really do scoring from both the inside and the outside. And, both clubs are missing swingmen, as Denver is still without F Wilson Chandler, and it seems likely that F Kyle Korver will once again miss out for the Hawks with back spasms. The proof is in the pudding though, and we have to look no further than the ATS records of these teams to show that fact. The Hawks are just 5-9 ATS in spite of the fact that they have gone 9-5 SU. They aren’t perceived to be all that great, and the truth of the matter is that they probably are nothing more than a middling playoff team in the Eastern Conference. Denver is a team to watch out for. It has played a rough schedule, and it is lucky to be at .500 through 18 games. This is the 13th road game of the year for the Nuggets, who are 10-8 ATS. On top of that, they’ve won four in a row in this series dating back to 2009, and they have covered three of the four. That’s more than good enough for us.
