Sure, when these two teams met earlier this year, the end result was 210 points on the board, but the fact of the matter is that both of these teams have been pouring in 45+ field goals on a regular basis, and that just can’t continue. Utah has shot 51.7 percent from the field over the course of its last two games, while San Antonio has shot 54.3 percent in its last three games. We’ll repeat: That just isn’t going to continue with regularity. Prior to this first game of this year, the previous five meetings, all in the playoffs last year, failed to reach the ‘total’, and we think that is a heck of a lot more indicative of what we should see this time around. Especially with the Jazz coming off that big time win over the Los Angeles Lakers, their offense should slide backwards just a bit.
