One of the best offenses that the country has to offer is going to take on arguably the best defense in the Pac-12, and the results should be interesting, to say the least. No one is really giving the Cardinal a chance to win this game, unlike what was the case last weekend in Tuscaloosa with the Texas A&M Aggies going against the Alabama Crimson Tide, but we think that there is a real chance that this game is closer than the college football expert picks suggest. QB Kevin Hogan is almost certainly the better of the two quarterbacks that Head Coach David Shaw could deploy, and RB Stepfan Taylor still could go off for a huge game at a moment’s notice. The Cardinal are legitimate, and they have almost every bit as much motivation right now as the Ducks do, as their BCS hopes probably rest in the wings as well. Even a solid loss might still draw the attention of the Rose Bowl should Oregon move onto the BCS National Championship Game, and we think that that is going to be the way that this plays out for the time being.
