Week 17 pointspreads are out, and here at Cappers Info, we are set to analyze the NFL odds for one of the top games on the slate. The Carolina Panthers vs. New Orleans Saints odds are posted, and we are set to make our NFL picks for another great game.

Week 17 NFL Picks: Carolina Panthers @ New Orleans Saints
Date: Sunday, December 30th, 1:00 ET
Location: Mercedes Benz Superdome, New Orleans, LA
Week 17 Betting Odds: New Orleans -4.5
Carolina vs. New Orleans Live TV: FOX

The Panthers and the Saints figure to be involved in a shootout in this one, but we aren’t all that sure that the Saints are really going to care all that much once QB Drew Brees gets his 40th touchdown pass and his 5,000th passing yard for the year. In fact, we wouldn’t be all that surprised if he sits once he reaches those milestones. Carolina on the other hand, is still trying to prove to itself and to the rest of the league that it can truly play, and it has done so over the course of the last several weeks, winning three straight games both SU and ATS. QB Cam Newton is playing the best and most efficient football of his career at the moment, and he should be in for a big time day against a hapless New Orleans defense that wasn’t able to stop him the first time around. This is a game that is screaming to be an upset.

Panthers @ Saints Pick: Carolina Panthers +4.5
Panthers @ Saints Score Prediction: Carolina 31 – New Orleans 24

The 2012 NFL schedule is back, and here at Cappers Info, we’ll be looking at some of the best games on the docket each and every week, as we try to make the most money possible off of the Week 16 odds for the NFL. Join us on Sunday, as we make our Oakland Raiders @ Carolina Panthers free picks and predictions for what should be a great clash on the gridiron.

Week 16 NFL Picks: Oakland Raiders @ Carolina Panthers
Date: Sunday, December 23rd, 1:00 ET
Location: Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte, NC
NFL Betting Odds: Carolina -8.5
Raiders @ Panthers On TV: CBS

This is a tough game to handicap as we see it. It seems to be obvious that the Panthers are the better of these two teams, but there is a real question as to by how much. Oakland isn’t pitching another shutout this time around as it did last week against the Chiefs, but all of a sudden, this defense is playing a lot better ball over the course of the last few weeks. The opportunity is there to pull off the upset, though of course, no one would be surprised if the end result was the same as it was the last time the Raiders came to the mid-Atlantic, a 55-20 loss to the Ravens. The Panthers have won two straight games by huge margins, but just prior to those victories, there was a 27-21 loss to those same Chiefs that Oakland just shut out. We think that this could be a surprising game where anything happens, and if that’s the case, we want the points on our side for sure.

Raiders @ Panthers Pick: Oakland Raiders +8.5
Raiders @ Panthers Score Prediction: Carolina 28 – Oakland 20

NFL betting fans are running to their online sportsbooks to place their Carolina Panthers vs. San Diego Chargers bets and predictions, and here at Cappers Info, we are making our Sunday football picks for this encounter.

Week 15 Football Picks: Carolina Panthers @ San Diego Chargers
Date: Sunday, December 16th, 4:05 ET
Location: Qualcomm Stadium, San Diego, CA
NFL Betting Lines: San Diego -3
Panthers vs. Chargers On TV: FOX

Are the Chargers on the road to another strong finish to the season? We think that we got a good idea that the team is going to do just that in spite of the fact that Head Coach Norv Turner is clearly on the way out at the end of the campaign. The team’s playoff hopes came to an end when the Bengals won on Thursday Night Football this week. QB Philip Rivers might be playing for his job over the course of the final few games of the season. He is turning the ball over far too much, though he did have a good game against the Pittsburgh Steelers last week. Carolina was able to knock off the Atlanta Falcons last week at home, but on the road this year, this team really hasn’t been able to win games for the most part. This is going to be another one of these heartbreaking games for a talented Panthers outfit that will find a way to drop by virtue of a late score allowed or a late turnover in a crucial spot.

Panthers @ Chargers Pick: San Diego Chargers -3
Carolina @ San Diego Score Prediction: San Diego 24 – Carolina 20

The 2012 NFL season is back, and here at Cappers Info, we’ll be looking at some of the best games on the docket each and every week, as we try to make the most money possible off of the NFL odds for the week. Join us on Sunday, as we make our Atlanta Falcons @ Carolina Panthers free picks and predictions for what should be a great clash on the gridiron.

Week 14 NFL Picks: Atlanta Falcons @ Carolina Panthers
Date: Sunday, December 3rd, 1:00 ET
Location: Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte, NC
NFL Betting Odds: Atlanta -3.5
Falcons vs. Panthers On TV: FOX

We hate siding with Joe Public in this game, but we really think that we have very little choice but to do just that. Carolina really looks like a team that gave up on the season last week against the Kansas City Chiefs, losing at Arrowhead Stadium to a team that really is the worst in the league. QB Cam Newton might have himself another good day as he did the first time that these two teams met, but then again, he might be in some trouble as well, knowing that he hasn’t put more than 22 on the board in a game but once since losing 30-28 at the Georgia Dome back on September 30th. Atlanta just keeps finding ways to win games, though those ways haven’t always been the prettiest. Go with the Falcons and lay the 3.5, as they really should be at least 6 point favorites in this game in all likelihood against a team that they are clearly superior to.

Atlanta Falcons @ Carolina Panthers Pick: Atlanta Falcons -3.5
Atlanta Falcons @ Carolina Panthers Score Prediction: Atlanta 28 – Carolina 21

NFL betting fans are running to their online sportsbooks to place their Carolina Panthers vs. Kansas City Chiefs bets and predictions, and here at Cappers Info, we are making our Sunday football picks for this encounter.

Week 13 Football Picks: Carolina Panthers @ Kansas City Chiefs
Date: Sunday, December 2nd, 1:00 ET
Location: Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City, MO
NFL Betting Lines: Carolina -3
Panthers vs. Chiefs On TV: FOX

The Chiefs have had their world shocked by the sudden double murder-suicide of LB Jovan Belcher, but they are going to play this game. Normally speaking, we would be backing the Panthers in this one, but in the end, emotions are just a tremendous part of the game. Remember when the Indianapolis Colts went on a tear and released all of the “Chuck Strong” stuff? There’s a good reason for that. When QB Brett Favre’s father died, same thing. We just see it too often. Players just kick that little extra into it to become relative superhuman when tragedy strikes. Yes, the Kansas City offense is just absolutely terrible, but that doesn’t mean that it isn’t still a team full of professionals. Head Coach Romeo Crennel knows that he is coaching for his job down the stretch this year as well, and he’ll really consider this a vital game to win against the Panthers to boot. Don’t be shocked if RB Jamaal Charles has a massive day against a Carolina team that is going to likely be missing its top rusher as well in RB Jonathan Stewart.

Panthers @ Chiefs Pick: Kansas City Chiefs +3
Carolina @ Kansas City Score Prediction: Kansas City 20 – Carolina 17

The 2012 NFL schedule is back, and here at Cappers Info, we’ll be looking at some of the best games on the docket each and every week, as we try to make the most money possible off of the Week 12 odds for the NFL. Join us on Monday, as we make our Carolina Panthers @ Philadelphia Eagles free picks and predictions for what should be a great clash on the gridiron.

Week 12 NFL Picks: Carolina Panthers @ Philadelphia Eagles
Date: Monday, November 26th, 8:30 ET
Location: Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, PA
NFL Betting Odds: Carolina -3
Panthers @ Eagles On TV: ESPN

About the only good thing that we have to say about the Eagles right now is that they are at least knowing what they’re coming to the table with. QB Nick Foles is going to have to play, and he is going to have to play a heck of a lot better than he did last week against a bad Washington Redskins team. RB Bryce Brown is going to have to be the running back as well now that RB LeSean McCoy has been ruled out. So that’s that. The question is whether Carolina really should be a team playing on the road and favored by a field goal. After all, the Panthers did beat the Redskins a few weeks ago, but aside from that, they haven’t won a game on the road all year long. QB Cam Newton is good, and he could win this game all by himself, but the truth of the matter is that more often than not, that’s not going to be how this pans out. The Eagles have only covered one game this year, but this very well could be their second.

Panthers @ Eagles Pick: Philadelphia Eagles +3
Panthers @ Eagles Score Prediction: Philadelphia 20 – Carolina 17

Of all of the games on the Monday 11/26 Week 12 NFL betting schedule, one of my favorite is the clash between the Carolina Panthers and the Philadelphia Eagles. Join me for my tips for this 8:30 p.m. ET kickoff that can be seen on ESPN.

Carolina Panthers (2-8, 4-6 ATS) -3
Philadelphia Eagles (3-7, 1-8-1 ATS) +3
Over/Under 40.5

Talk about a buzz kill. After being so excited over the course of the whole week over some fantastic games, we get this lousy one. However, I really have a good feeling that this one is going to really struggling to reach the ‘total’.

It’s just a heck of a challenge for the Eagles on Monday night. QB Nick Foles only led his team to six points last week against a Washington Redskins team that has allowed at least 21 points in all of its games this year. Carolina’s defense hasn’t really been the problem either. Sure, the squad allowed 36 two weeks ago to the Denver Broncos and 27 last week to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but you have to remember that against the Broncos, there were 16 points directly thanks to the defense, and in the first 59:48 of the game last week, the Bucs were held to just 13 points.

Yes, the Eagles have scored at least 27 points in three in a row in this series, but that just isn’t happening in this one with both Vick and McCoy out of the lineup. Remember that Carolina hasn’t scored more than 22 in a game but once since Week 2. If the Panthers don’t reach 22 in this one, this game won’t get to the number in all likelihood. Carolina has scored just a total of 42 points in three games since 2004 against the Eagles, and that 14.0 points per game is going to be just about why we are expecting out of the Panthers on Monday in what should still ultimately be a winning effort.

Panthers @ Eagles Tips: Under 40.5

BovadaThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Carolina Panthers are set to kick off their Week 11 NFL betting clash on Sunday 11/18, and I’m set to make my football pick for the affair at Bank of America Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1:00 ET, and I’ve got the perfect NFL pick for this outstanding duel on the gridiron.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-4, 7-2 ATS) -1.5
Carolina Panthers (2-7, 4-5 ATS) +1.5
Over/Under 48

The oddsmakers don’t often get matters wrong with two teams that face each other so often, especially in the NFL. This is a game where I am going to bust out the teaser, knowing that there has been just a huge adjustment between these two teams from now and when they played in Week 1.

Of course, I must note that there is no doubt that Carolina and Tampa Bay are both clearly not the same team that I, and everyone else, thought they were this year. The Panthers aren’t significantly worse in my eyes in spite of the fact that they are just 2-7 this year. Tampa Bay meanwhile, is a lot better than the oddsmakers thought, but it is about what I always thought this team would be like.

I also look at this ‘total’ and wonder what in the heck gives with this. The ‘total’ was only 45.5 the first time around, and in spite of the fact that this game was an easy ‘under’, the number has gone up by almost a field goal. That just doesn’t make any sense to me, so I’ll go with the gut of the oddsmakers in the first place, going with the Panthers and the ‘under’ in a same game teaser with a lot of margin for error.

Buccaneers @ Panthers Tips: Same-Game Teaser – Carolina +8.5 w/ Under 55

Week 11 NFL Picks: Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Carolina Panthers
Date: Sunday, November 18th, 1:00 ET
Location: Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte, NC
NFL Betting Odds: Tampa Bay -1.5
Buccaneers vs. Panthers On TV: FOX

When these two teams met back in Week 1,Tampa Bay was essentially a six-point underdog if the game were played on a neutral field. Meanwhile, the oddsmakers have now lined Carolina at essentially +4.5 when push comes to shove on a neutral field. Have these two teams really proven that they are 10.5 points separated from one another at this point? Carolina has played a lot of tough games, and before last week against Denver, there really wasn’t a game in which the team has been out of it. QB Cam Newton really had a great day throwing the football when these two teams met the first time, and we wouldn’t be all that surprised if he was able to come out and stop the run that Tampa Bay has been on over the course of the last few weeks. There’s just no way that the Bucs can keep this up offensively, as they have scored at least 28 points in five straight games.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Carolina Panthers Pick: Carolina Panthers +1
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Carolina Panthers Score Prediction: Carolina 28 – Tampa Bay 20

Week 9 NFL Picks: Denver Broncos @ Carolina Panthers
Date: Sunday, November 11th, 1:00 ET
Location: Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte, NC
NFL Betting Odds: Denver -4
Broncos vs. Panthers On TV: CBS

Welcome to what may as well be called Peyton’s Place. QB Peyton Manning just knows that he is going to have an awesome day this week on Tobacco Road. Why is that? Because he’s going against a Carolina team that has averaged allowing 327.3 passing yards per game this year to QB Matt Ryan, QB Drew Brees, and QB Eli Manning, clearly the three best quarterbacks that they have faced this year. Don’t let that 224.0 passing yards per game number fool you; Carolina does NOT have a good secondary. Meanwhile, Head Coach John Fox has to be laughing about coming back to his old stomping grounds against a team that just looks and feels like has been snake bitten through the whole campaign. QB Cam Newton will be pouting on the sidelines by the end of the third quarter, as he is just going to get harassed by the speedy Denver defenders in a game that might turn into an ugly romp when push comes to shove.

Denver Broncos @ Carolina Panthers Pick: Denver Broncos -4
Denver Broncos @ Carolina Panthers Score Prediction: Denver 38 – Carolina 10

Week 9 NFL Picks: Carolina Panthers @ Washington Redskins
Date: Sunday, November 4th, 1:00 ET
Location: FedEx Field, Landover, MD
Week 9 Betting Odds: Washington -3.5
Panthers vs. Redskins Live TV: FOX

The Redskins haven’t had a heck of a lot of luck at home over the course of the last year and change, knowing that they have just one win here since Week 2 of the 2011 campaign. The Redskins have the better of the two records, but they might not have the better of the two teams. QB Robert Griffin III is having the better year of he and QB Cam Newton, but these two teams look really similar otherwise. Carolina’s defense is doing a significantly better job this year of the two as well, knowing that the Redskins are allowing over 28 points per game and have conceded at least 22 in all eight of their games this year. Carolina has come close over the course of the last few weeks, losing these last four games by a combined 12 points, and it just feels like that is going to be coming to a close when push comes to shove in this one. The Panthers should be able to come on the road and get the win, but if they don’t, we still have more than a field goal’s worth of an advantage to our name to get started.

Panthers @ Redskins Pick: Carolina Panthers +3.5
Panthers @ Redskins Score Prediction: Carolina 24 – Washington 23

Week 8 pointspreads are out, and here at Cappers Info, we are set to analyze the NFL odds for one of the top games on the slate. The Carolina Panthers vs. Chicago Bears odds are posted, and we are set to make our NFL picks for another great game.

Week 8 NFL Picks: Carolina Panthers @ Chicago Bears
Date: Sunday, October 28th, 1:00 ET
Location: Soldier Field, Chicago, IL
Week 8 Betting Odds: Chicago -7.5
Carolina vs. Chicago Live TV: FOX

The Windy City is going to live up to its moniker in this one, as winds up upwards of 30 MPH could be in the picture. Last year, we have to remember that the Panthers averaged over eight yards per carry in the game, and RB Matt Forte had over 200 yards on the ground by himself. Chicago is playing the best ball that it has played since the team was in the Super Bowl, and many think that it can get back there this year. The Panthers are in desperate need of a victory, but in the end, it probably isn’t going to matter. The only question is whether this is too many points, and the answer should be yes. Four of the Panthers’ five losses this year have come by six points or fewer, and that includes losing by just two to the Atlanta Falcons on the road at the Georgia Dome. This might be a relatively comparable game when push comes to shove.

Panthers @ Bears Pick: Carolina Panthers +7.5
Panthers @ Bears Score Prediction: Chicago 24 – Carolina 21
