The Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs are going to square off in Game 4 of the NBA Finals in a crucial NBA betting affair on June 13th. Join us here at Cappers Info, as we make our predictions for basketball for what should be a great game on Thursday.

NBA Finals Game 4 Predictions: Miami Heat @ San Antonio Spurs
Date: Thursday, June 13th, 9:00 ET
Location: AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX
NBA Betting Odds: San Antonio -1.5
Heat vs. Spurs NBA TV Schedule: ABC

Spurs Lead Series 2-1

Both the Spurs and the Heat have thrown some massive punches at one another over the course of the last two games of this series. Miami had everything going for it in Game 2, but in Game 3, the tide turned. San Antonio made its adjustments, knocked down a slew of shots from the outside, and literally complete demoralized the Heat, especially in the second half. Here’s the thing, though. The Spurs aren’t going to hit 17 three-point shots again in this game, and they aren’t going to keep down F LeBron James forever. James knows that he has to be a heck of a lot better than 7-of-21 shooting and 1-of-5 from beyond the arc, and he knows that he absolutely cannot have another game in which he doesn’t shoot a single foul shot. The Heat are continuing to have problems on the glass, and though that probably isn’t going to change in this one, they still can rest on the fact that they are averaging beating teams by over 20 points per game here in these playoffs in games in which they are coming off of a loss. So many of those massive victories came on the road, and this could be another one of these games where everything starts to turn around and go right for Miami once again. We are insistent that the Heat are going to win more often than they are going to lose here in San Antonio in spite of the fact that the Spurs are up 2-1 in this series.

Heat @ Spurs Game 4 Pick: Miami Heat +1.5

The Miami Heat and the Indiana Pacers are going to square off in Game 6 of their playoff series in a crucial NBA betting affair on June 1st. Join us here at Cappers Info, as we make our predictions for basketball for what should be a great game on Saturday.

NBA Predictions: Miami Heat @ Indiana Pacers
Date: Saturday, June 1st, 8:30 ET
Location: Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, IN
NBA Betting Odds: Miami -2.5
Heat vs. Pacers NBA TV Schedule: TNT

Heat Lead Series 3-2

Prior to Game 3, we said that the Heat were probably going to find a way to win two of the three games that were to be played here at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, and we are going to stick with that theory. F LeBron James really woke up in Game 5, and he carried Miami to victory in a game that was touch and go for just a little bit before the king took over. What’s notable about the Game 5 win is that it came in a style in which the Pacers really wanted to play. The pace of the game was very slow, and the game was so chippy that, F Chris Andersen ended up getting suspended for this game. Don’t discount what that means to the Heat. That being said though, F Udonis Haslem has been remarkable in this series, and he is going to be the man that has to step it up in the Birdman’s absence. Miami still has the better of these two teams, and we think that it has better than a 50/50 chance of ending this series on Saturday night in Indianapolis. Get ready, San Antonio. The Heat are coming to get you.

Heat @ Pacers Game 6 Pick: Miami Heat -2.5
Heat @ Pacers Score Prediction: Miami 93 – Pacers 90

The Miami Heat and the Indiana Pacers are going to square off in Game 3 of their playoff series in a crucial NBA betting affair on May 26th. Join us here at Cappers Info, as we make our predictions for basketball for what should be a great game on Sunday.

NBA Predictions: Miami Heat @ Indiana Pacers
Date: Sunday, May 26th, 8:30 ET
Location: Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, IN
NBA Betting Odds: Indiana PK
Heat vs. Pacers NBA TV Schedule: TNT

Series Tied 1-1

The Pacers have earned their split over the course of their first two games of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Heat, and winning a game in South Beach is no easy task. Now, the series shifts back to Indianapolis, just as it did last season with these two teams level at a game apiece. This is where Indiana really has to put its foot on the gas pedal. We know that F LeBron James is going to be the most devastating man on the floor and the toughest to stop, but we also know that no one for Miami has been able to stop C Roy Hibbert yet either. Hibbert scored 29 points and had 10 boards in Game 2, and he was one of the five players that the Pacers put into double digits in scoring. The fear that we have is the James can take a game over all by himself and ultimately turn out to beat another very good team with no help whatsoever. Indiana has to make this a team effort. That being said, the window of opportunity is most certainly open at this point for the Pacers, as they ultimately try to figure out how to get the job done against the supposedly unbeatable Heat. We probably won’t be sticking with Indiana for the rest of this series, but we’re believers for now, and we think that the Heat are in some serious trouble and could fall behind 2-1 on Sunday night.

Heat @ Pacers Game 3 Pick: Indiana Pacers PK
Heat @ Pacers Score Prediction: Indiana 88 – Miami 87

The Memphis Grizzlies and the San Antonio Spurs are going to square off in Game 2 of their playoff series in a crucial NBA betting affair on May 21st. Join us here at Cappers Info, as we make our predictions for basketball for what should be a great game on Tuesday.

NBA Predictions: Memphis Grizzlies @ San Antonio Spurs
Date: Tuesday, May 21st, 9:00 ET
Location: AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX
NBA Betting Odds: San Antonio -5
Grizzlies vs. Spurs NBA TV Schedule: TNT

Spurs Lead Series 1-0

Right away in Game 1, the Grizzlies knew that they were in a heck of a lot of trouble. They haven’t been able to meet the intensity level that the Spurs have brought to the table. San Antonio was up by 17 points at the end of the first quarter, and there was really never a shot for the Grizz to get back into the swing of things. That being said, we don’t think that this series is over yet. Memphis played an absolutely awful night offensively, but we just don’t think that F Zach Randolph is going to score just two points again in this game, and he probably isn’t only pulling down seven rebounds either. C Marc Gasol also only had seven boards on the night as well. For as much as we do like this San Antonio team, we don’t know if this is the time that it is going to ultimately take a huge lead in this series. We aren’t keen to the way that G Manu Ginobili has been playing, and we really don’t feel all that much about these Spurs in Game 2, knowing that they knocked down 14-of-29 shots from beyond the arc. There’s just no way that happens again in this one, and if it doesn’t, there is a great shot for the Grizzlies to at least stay in front of the number, if not winning this game SU.

Grizzlies @ Spurs Game 2 Pick: Memphis Grizzlies +5
Grizzlies @ Spurs Score Prediction: Grizzlies 89 – Spurs 86

The New York Knicks and the Indiana Pacers are going to square off in Game 6 of their playoff series in a crucial NBA betting affair on May 18th. Join us here at Cappers Info, as we make our predictions for basketball for what should be a great game on Saturday.

NBA Predictions: New York Knicks @ Indiana Pacers
Date: Saturday, May 18th, 8:00 ET
Location: Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, IN
NBA Betting Odds: Indiana -5
Knicks vs. Pacers NBA TV Schedule: ESPN

Pacers Lead Series 3-2

The Knicks really didn’t do anything phenomenally well in Game 5 to warrant sending this series back to Indianapolis for a Game 6. They only got 16-of-39 shooting from F Carmelo Anthony and G JR Smith, and they really didn’t play well offensively in the game. They weren’t the aggressive team, they didn’t end up getting all that many shots at the charity stripe, though they did keep their turnovers down. Game 5′s loss was all on Indiana. The team shot just 36.2 percent from the field and committed 19 turnovers. Yes, the loss of G George Hill was huge for the team, as G DJ Augustin had to step into the starting lineup, but the real problem came at the foul line. Even shooting 25-of-33 instead of 19-of-33 would have made Game 5 a game down the stretch, but the team alas, just couldn’t hit a shot from the foul line to save its life. Don’t be surprised if this is the game that ends it all, though. We just don’t trust that the Knicks are going to be able to go on the road and even remotely play with the Pacers. Indiana has a great team, and it is a perfect 5-0 SU and ATS thus far this season playing at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Tonight makes it 6-0 SU and ATS, and the conference finals will finally be set.

Knicks @ Pacers Game 6 Pick: Indiana Pacers -5
Knicks @ Pacers Score Prediction: Pacers 99 – Knicks 86

The Golden State Warriors and the San Antonio Spurs are going to square off in Game 5 of their playoff series in a crucial NBA betting affair on May 14th. Join us here at Cappers Info, as we make our predictions for basketball for what should be a great game on Tuesday.

NBA Predictions: Golden State Warriors @ San Antonio Spurs
Date: Tuesday, May 14th, 9:30 ET
Location: AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX
NBA Betting Odds: San Antonio -7
Warriors vs. Spurs NBA TV Schedule: TNT

Series Tied 2-2

If the Spurs are going to win this series, they had better figure out how to win this game and win it by a comfortable margin. They most certainly don’t want to go back to Oracle Arena, in spite of the fact that they outplayed the Warriors for the majority of the two games out there, facing elimination. San Antonio really flexed its muscles as the better of these two teams as we saw it in Games 3 and 4, and we think that it is going to do the same in Game 5. This would be a 3-1 series if not for the fact that the Spurs just went flat out cold from the floor at the end of Game 4, especially in overtime when just three points were scored. If that game is played at home, it’s a much, much different story. Here’s the sad truth for Golden State, though. G Stephen Curry is hurt. G Klay Thompson just played 50+ minutes for the second time in this series. So did F Harrison Barnes. Barnes won’t score 26 in a game again in this series in all likelihood, and G Jarrett Jack probably isn’t coming off of the bench to score 24. When you’re playing the Spurs, the deeper the series goes, the more trouble you’re in. Their depth eventually wears virtually everyone down, and we have to think that it is going to do just that in Game 5 on Tuesday night as well.

Warriors @ Spurs Game 5 Pick: San Antonio Spurs -7
Warriors @ Spurs Score Prediction: Spurs 108 – Warriors 97

The Oklahoma City Thunder and the Memphis Grizzlies are going to square off in Game 4 of their playoff series in a crucial NBA betting affair on May 13th. Join us here at Cappers Info, as we make our predictions for basketball for what should be a great game on Monday.

NBA Predictions: Oklahoma City Thunder @ Memphis Grizzlies
Date: Monday, May 13th, 9:30 ET
Location: FedEx Forum, Memphis, TN
NBA Betting Odds: Memphis -4.5
Thunder vs. Grizzlies NBA TV Schedule: TNT

Grizzlies Lead Series 2-1

The Grizzlies are rather unfortunate to only be up 2-1 in this series, but with the way that this one has gone, there is a legitimate gripe that either team could be up 3-0. Within the last three minutes of all of these games, the losing team was no further apart than just one point from the team that ultimately won the game. One would figure that the team with F Kevin Durant on it would be able to win these games that come down to the last few possessions. Though we all obviously know that Durant has the ability to get his shot whenever he wants it, and he can hit a shot from anywhere on the court, the half court defense for the Grizzlies has ultimately gotten the job done. Oklahoma City’s defense flat out isn’t as good as the Memphis defense, though that isn’t an indictment on the Thunder by any stretch of the imagination. The Grizzlies have made this series as ugly as they have wanted it, and the second half of Game 3, in particular, was very ugly. The good news for Memphis is if the series stays like this, there’s a good chance to win this game and this series. The bad news for Memphis though, is that it’s darn near impossible to win a game like this by more than two buckets. Thunder bettors were very unlucky in Game 4. They’ll at least get luckier in Game 3.

Thunder @ Grizzlies Game 4 Pick: Oklahoma City Thunder +4.5
Thunder @ Grizzlies Score Prediction: Grizzlies 91 – Thunder 89

The New York Knicks and the Indiana Pacers are going to square off in Game 3 of their playoff series in a crucial NBA betting affair on May 11th. Join us here at Cappers Info, as we make our predictions for basketball for what should be a great game on Saturday.

NBA Predictions: New York Knicks @ Indiana Pacers
Date: Saturday, May 11th, 8:00 ET
Location: Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, IN
NBA Betting Odds: Indiana -4
Knicks vs. Pacers NBA TV Schedule: ABC

Series Tied 1-1

We know that it’s tough to say, “If you take out that 30-2 run…” The Pacers really weren’t as bad as a 105-79 final score suggests in Game 2 at Madison Square Garden, but they really were that pathetic down the stretch. Still, we know that this team isn’t going to let the Knicks knock down 44 shots from the field once again, as hardly anyone ever hits that many shots against the Pacers nowadays. The theoretical offense for New York still stinks. G JR Smith would be taking a ton of heat for only hitting 3-of-15 if not for the fact that F Carmelo Anthony hit half of his shots and scored 32 points. These two are still shooting the ball far too much and aren’t willing to dish it out to open shooters who have a tremendously higher success rate than they do. Indiana is back at home, where it has gone 3-0 SU and ATS here in these playoffs. New York was beaten badly in the most recent meeting of these teams in Indianapolis, a 125-91 blasting, and the team hasn’t won a game in this building since last March. The Knicks are going to get crushed in Game 3 as we see it, and the better team will take the 2-1 series edge.

Knicks @ Pacers Game 3 Pick: Indiana Pacers -4
Knicks @ Pacers Score Prediction: Pacers 99 – Knicks 86

The Golden State Warriors and the San Antonio Spurs are going to square off in Game 2 of their playoff series in a crucial NBA betting affair on May 8th. Join us here at Cappers Info, as we make our predictions for basketball for what should be a great game on Wednesday.

NBA Predictions: Golden State Warriors @ San Antonio Spurs
Date: Wednesday, May 8th, 9:30 ET
Location: AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX
NBA Betting Odds: San Antonio -6.5
Warriors vs. Spurs NBA TV Schedule: TNT

Spurs Lead Series 1-0

Game 1 might have been the best game that the NBA has seen thus far this season. The Spurs had to go on an 18-2 run over the course of the last four minutes of play to force the game to overtime, and then two sessions later, it was G Manu Ginobili who hit the three-point shot that ultimately won the game for the hosts. There were 205 total shots from the field in the game, and 56 three-point attempts between the two clubs. It was the exact game that Golden State wanted to play. G Stephen Curry scored 44 points, and he dished out 11 assists. He played 58 minutes and shot the ball 35 times. Is there a way that the Warriors can even get up to play Game 2? That’s the biggest question that we have right now. They had everything go exactly the way that they wanted, and they just didn’t have enough at the end. There are too many weapons here for San Antonio, and fatigue has to be a factor as well. Not only did Curry play 58 minutes, but F Harrison Barnes played 53. For the Spurs, no one played more than 48 minutes, and only G Tony Parker, G Danny Green, and F Kawhi Leonard played more than 40 minutes. There is still plenty of gas left in the San Antonio tank. We don’t know how much is really left for Golden State. Lay the points in Game 2.

Warriors @ Spurs Game 2 Pick: San Antonio Spurs -7
Warriors @ Spurs Score Prediction: Spurs 103 – Warriors 93

The Memphis Grizzlies and the Oklahoma City Thunder are going to square off in Game 2 of their playoff series in a crucial NBA betting affair on May 7th. Join us here at Cappers Info, as we make our predictions for basketball for what should be a great game on Tuesday.

NBA Predictions: Memphis Grizzlies @ Oklahoma City Thunder
Date: Tuesday, May 7th, 9:30 ET
Location: Chesapeake Energy Arena, Oklahoma City, OK
NBA Betting Odds: Oklahoma City -3
Grizzlies vs. Thunder NBA TV Schedule: TNT

Thunder Lead Series 1-0

This is certainly an NBA betting line that we want to get in on right now. The Thunder are favored by a three-pointer, but we just aren’t so sure that’s justifiable at this point. Let’s call it what it is: Memphis blew Game 1. The Grizzlies had a 10 point lead in the fourth quarter, and about the only way that it could have lost this game, it did. F Kevin Durant took over. Here’s the problem that we have with Oklahoma City, though. The team only had a total of 13 assists in Game 1, and Durant had six of the 13. That just isn’t going to get the job done. This team has to move the basketball if it is going to be able to beat such a great defensive team. Meanwhile, we know that the Grizzlies are going to shoot better than 58.3 percent from the charity stripe in this game, and had they done better in Game 1, they’d be up 1-0 instead of down 1-0 in this series. It really feels like Oklahoma City is just grasping at this point. There’s a reason that the Grizzlies were the slightly favored team in this series, and there’s a reason that they are going to win Game 2 and bring this series back to the FedEx Forum all level at a game apiece.

Grizzlies @ Thunder Game 2 Pick: Memphis Grizzlies -3
Grizzlies @ Thunder Score Prediction: Grizzlies 98 – Thunder 92

The Chicago Bulls and the Brooklyn Nets are going to square off in Game 7 of their playoff series in a crucial NBA betting affair on May 4th. Join us here at Cappers Info, as we make our predictions for basketball for what should be a great game on Saturday.

NBA Predictions: Chicago Bulls @ Brooklyn Nets
Date: Saturday, May 4th, 8:00 ET
Location: Barclays Center, Brooklyn, NY
NBA Betting Odds: Brooklyn -6.5
Bulls vs. Nets NBA TV Schedule: TNT

Series Tied 3-3

For the first time this year, we have a crucial Game 7 in which two teams are going to be fighting for their lives. Nothing is better than this, but we really wish that both teams were at full strength. Unfortunately for the Bulls, they really are the walking wounded out there. They aren’t going to have G Kirk Hinrich in all likelihood, and it’s sounding like they aren’t going to have F Luol Deng either. That’s really going to leave Head Coach Tom Thibodeau in quite the bind, knowing that he’ll have such a short bench to work with. In Game 6, he had to use G Marco Belinelli for 47 of the 48 minutes, and F Jimmy Butler literally didn’t sit down for a single second. C Joakim Noah is playing with plantar fasciitis, and he is doing a yeoman’s job in the paint in spite of that very painful injury. It’s tough enough to win games in the playoffs, and it’s even tougher to do so on the road. But when you’re missing three of your starters (though it’s tough to count G Derrick Rose in that mix since he hasn’t been with the team all year long), it’s a task that is darn near impossible. The Nets simply have to win this game by default. We just can’t imagine how Brooklyn would lose this one after doing all of the tough work in Games 5, and especially 6 on the road at the United Center. Laying 6.5 is a bit risky, but we think it’s the right thing to do.

Bulls @ Nets Game 7 Pick: Brooklyn Nets -6.5
Bulls @ Nets Score Prediction: Nets 92 – Bulls 81

The Indiana Pacers and the Atlanta Hawks are going to square off in Game 6 of their playoff series in a crucial NBA betting affair on May 3rd. Join us here at Cappers Info, as we make our predictions for basketball for what should be a great game on Friday.

NBA Predictions: Indiana Pacers @ Atlanta Hawks
Date: Friday, May 3rd, 7:30 ET
Location: Phillips Arena, Atlanta, GA
NBA Betting Odds: Atlanta -1.5
Pacers vs. Hawks NBA TV Schedule: ESPN2

Pacers Lead Series 3-2

Time and again, we have seen lesser teams fold up in Game 6 in situations like this. Remember when the Los Angeles Lakers and the Oklahoma City Thunder played against each other in a great 1/8 series a few years ago before the Thunder were good? The home team won the first four games of that series, and when the Lakers won Game 5 at the Staples Center, the Thunder looked a bit deflated and ultimately were knocked out in Game 6. There’s something psychological about losing that third game on the road that tends to kill a team’s spirit like Atlanta’s. The Hawks now know that they not only have to pour their heart and soul into this game to win it, but they also have to go on the road on Sunday and figure out how to do something that they haven’t been able to do in five tries this season: Beat the Pacers at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The end result is that the lower seeded teams tend to just throw in the towel at home and ultimately pack their bags in their own locker room, and that’s what we think is going to happen again on Friday night. Unless the Hawks come out of the blocks with guns blazing, we don’t think there is going to be any fight back. This is Indiana’s game to win, and it’s Indiana’s game to lose. Take the Pacers and the insulting point and a half.

Pacers @ Hawks Game 6 Pick: Indiana Pacers +1.5
Pacers @ Hawks Score Prediction: Pacers 97 – Hawks 91
