Tiger Woods (+480): Tiger is going to be the trendy choice in this tournament, and though we don’t think that he legitimately has a one in four chance of winning the event, we do think that he has a great chance to at least stick around. If Woods is within a shot or two of the lead going into play on Sunday, he might be the odds on favorite, depending upon what golfer is in the lead. It is clear that Woods, coming off of that win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, is playing the best golf that we have seen him play in the last three years. That being said, he won’t officially be “back” until he wins a major. Could it happen by Sunday? We definitely think that there is at least a very viable chance that that is what plays out.

Rory McIlroy (+650): Going into the final round here at Augusta National last year, McIlroy looked like he was going to be a dead nuts lock to win his first major. That being said, the 22 year old shot a terrible 80 to fall from grace. Many thought that it would take years for him to recover, if he ever actually did. And then came the US Open at Congressional when he basically went wire to wire and looked better and better with every passing shot that he took. The bottom line is that right now, McIlroy might be the best golfer in the world, and the argument could be made that he is the next Tiger Woods. He might prove it by exorcizing the demons of Masters’ past from last year.

Luke Donald (+1475): Donald really is our favorite pick on the odds to win the Masters. McIlroy and Woods are the two trendy picks, and Phil Mickelson isn’t going to be all that far behind either. That being said, it is probably a little known fact that Donald is the world’s No. 1 ranked player right now. Think that that’s a farce just because he plays in a lot of tournaments? Think again. Guess who is the No. 1 putter in the world as well? Luke Donald. Sure, we know that the flashy names are going to be the ones that get all of the pub, but the time is coming for Donald to really make a difference on the PGA Tour for more than just money lists and tour rankings. He could be the really sneaky play in slow conditions with iffy scores in the Peach State.

Graeme McDowell (+8000): McDowell is a long shot to win the Masters to say the least, but we think that he might be able to at least hang around in this tournament. Historically, McDowell is a good putter, and he has the game that really translates to the majors. It hasn’t turned into success quite yet, but we aren’t all that removed from the times when McDowell was one of the favorites to win most every event that he partook in. Don’t count him out this weekend.
