Is this the final game ever for the Kings in Sacramento? There is a good chance that Seattle is going to steal this team right out from underneath the city, and if that’s the case, this indeed will be the last time that the purple and black is donned in Sac Town. The Kings have been atrocious all season long on the road, but they are a 20-20 SU team here at home, which gives some credence to the possibility that they could ultimately win this game when push comes to shove. We know that G Tyreke Evans is going to miss this last game of the year, and it’s anyone’s guess whether C DeMarcus Cousins is going to care to show up or not. The good news for Sacramento though, is that so many of the pieces on the team elsewhere really have been playing well while the leading scorers are out or are slacking. The Clippers had to play last night against the Portland Trail Blazers in their home finale. That game was won by 16 points, but we know that the eyes are going to be glued on getting home court advantage in the first round of the playoffs. Still, with this being the last game in Sacramento in all likelihood, we expect to see quite the display from the hometown crowd. Don’t be shocked if the Kings win this one outright, perhaps sending the Clips on the road for this weekend’s first two games of the playoffs in Memphis instead of hosting either the Grizzlies or the Warriors/Rockets.
