Hi. So I've been a student in Big 10 schools for about 8 years now. (I'm a grad student now). I thought it might be fun adn or interesting if people focus on specific conferences and post their plays for the entire conferecne. Here are my big 10 picks for this weekend :

IU -6.5 ( I think they have taken a good beating once or twice this year and this is the game where they can show they are not TOTAL pushovers)

Northwestern +6.5 ( I was a Badger for 4 years and hate to go against an awesome wisconsin team but I've seen northwestern pull off some good upsets over the year, and I just cant; see my badgers going 5-0, or at least winning by more than 3

Michigan -7.5 (The wolverines are a much better team than people are giving them credit for. They will show it this weekend)

Iowa +4.5 (I'm currently a student at purdue and let's face it, neither of these two teams have lived up to expectations. My biolermakers almost never beat the spread. )

Ohio St. -3.5 (Seriously! OSU will kill Penn St, I know Joe Pa can work some magic but not against the Buckeye D.)

I think that covers it. So, anyone else got picks for an entire conference ???

Growing up in Ohio, i am also a big ten fan. As good as the conference was predicted to be this year, i really feel that most of the teams are soft as compared to last year when everyone thought the big ten was washed up (at least til Bowl season when we won the majority of games). Here are my big ten picks for today..
Gonna go against you and take Illini and the +6.5 points
-Northwestern +6.5 in a high scoring game
-Michigan should win but i'd buy the hook and take em to -7
-Iowa +4.5 (don't understand why everyone likes Purdue
-And if you read my other posts you will see that i also like Ohio State -3. This game is the only game you will see me call a pick of the year. Too strong, athletic and Tressel had an extra week to game plan.
Good luck with your picks and you can admit that you stayed in college all those years just to look at the Big Ten hotties. Damn i love college girls:D

The Big Ten has always been a great confrence to watch. I think ESPN give more coverage to Big Ten teams than any other. Why?? 'Cause they score points that's why!! I 'caught my first game of Big Ten football when I moved to Vegas 5 years ago. Northwestern was playing and they hauld off some killer scores. Just did some research on it and it was in 2000 when they had Zak Kustok as their QB and they played "No-Huddle" Offense. I have followed them ever since.

Had to throw my two cents in here :) .
