Cappersinfo Chat Room Now Up & Running!

Good news everyone:

The NEW "Cappersinfo.com User Chat Room" is now up and running. To access the chat room just click on the "Chat Room" link above. There is no need to register. Your forum user-name will also be your chat room user name.

I need you guys to test the new chat room. Please try accessing the chat right away if possible. If you are having any problems, please report them in this thread right away. I need to make sure that I get all the bugs out as quickly as possible.

As far as the chat schedule goes, we will have this done soon. Please feel freely to discuss any chat meetings that you all would like to setup amongst yourselves. Feel free to discuss meetings in this thread. Also, If you happen to find that you guys are repeatedly responding to each others messages in the forum at the same time, offer to meet in the chat room. I will monitor that chat room activity to work out the most popular time for a chat room schedule. Please make sure to keep your timestamp setting to "on" so that I can see the time of all your messages. The chat room schedule will be available as soon as possible.

Try again everyone. Everything should be working properly. The "Invalid Username or Password" error issue should be all cleared up now. Any other problems or issues, please post them here. Also, feel free to discuss any chat room meetings or schedules freely amongst yourselves in this thread as well. I will work on the schedule when I get a feel for the popular times of the chat.

Everyone should login to the chat as soon as they can to see if everything is working for their account. I will be in and out of that chat tonight to see if anyone is checking their accounts. Enjoy!

After downloading the Java Update, I got into the chat room alright. How is this going to work? Can a member just go to the chat room and post a question, and then others will respond?

Not quite sure what you mean. It's just a regular chatroom. In order to have a discussion with someone, other people have to be in the chat. You can see if someone else is in there as there will be a "[X]" next to the chatroom link at the top of the board with the "x" being a number telling you how many members are in the chat. Usually, I will schedule a chat and post an announcement of the date and time on the board, usually on a football Saturday or Sunday. People then show up and chat freely. We have had a few entertaining chats this year so far. Perhaps I will schedule one next weekend. I don't think this weekend will be a good time as a lo of our most active members are not around.
