I know its a long shot. I know i would be pissed if I were a bulldog due to I think they got screwed. I think they should have moved up to #3. But I think Hawii will come out to play. I think hawii can keep it close and pull the upset. if they do pull of the win, it will be big for me because I know everyone else will have the dogs

Oh come on. 9 out of 10 times OU beat Boise.
Mid-Major teams won't be able to "sneak" up on BCS teams this year. It took two 1 in a million plays for boise to win. Makes for a great story, and it was an excellent game. but look what happened to that same boise team @ UGA a year earlier.
48-13?
Yep. and all this nonsense about the state of Hawaii being there? New Orleans will be a home game for UGA.
I told you all about Florida, I told you all about Auburn.
I'm telling you all about Hawaii.

Well I am taking Hawaii in this game. I may even play a money line play on the game.
If Georgia feels snubbed by not moving up high enough in the BCS poll, then that is a recipe for an upset.
I do feel that if Georgia covers this game, the total will fly over. I figure Hawaii to be good for 30-40 points here.
One team has something to prove and nothing to lose. The other may be playing "not to lose".

Well, I personally know many of the senors...
I've talked to Brandon Coutu, Thomas Brown, Chester Adams, Marcus Howard and Kelin Johnson(I had some comm classes with all of them)
They all feel like they are playing with a chip on their shoulder and are playing to prove that they did deserve a shot at playing for the title.
Also, I can tell you right now, 99% of the team feel fortunate to be playing in a BCS bowl game after the way they played against UT.
You guys can ponder and guess on attitudes... but I'm giving you it straight from the horses mouth.
Everyone one of these guys remembers what it was like to lose to West Va, (a much better team) when they were heavily favored to win and none of them want to lose this game.
According to these guys, Coach Richt has been selling the Sugar Bowl as the first of of the 2008 season. All these guys know that a powerful statement here will surely lead to a top 5, maybe top 3 preseason ranking and the senior leadership constantly reminds the guys of West Va.
I mean, even looking at the unbiased stats...
Warriors are 7-18 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.
Warriors are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games overall.
Bulldogs are 4-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.
Bulldogs are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 neutral site games.
Bulldogs are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. win.
Bulldogs are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall.
Keep in mind the last 5 on UGA's schedule included the likes of Florida, Auburn, Georgia Tech, and Kentucky.
The only loss ATS spread, was against Troy, on a last second touchdown against UGA's freshman with a 17 pt. lead. (line was -14.)
The last 5 that Hawaii played? Washington, Boise, Nevada, Fresno, and New Mexico. Not even close to the same level of competition.
I feel like the public... currently almost 60% siding on Hawaii are looking for another darling like Boise State.
Nobody has to defend their picks, but I'm curious... what do you see in Hawaii that makes you so sure they are going to cover/win SU?
I can't find any reasoning other than people guessing that UGA will be disappointed for playing in the Sugar Bowl and are keyed in for a let down.
On top of everything, UGA is expecting to have 60,000 people to Hawaii's 20,000 people at the dome. This will be the most people anyone from Hawaii has every played in front of. I wonder how good the receiver will be able to pick up audibles at the line with 60k yelling.
Ok, i'm tired of typing...
please continue discussion...

I like Georgia to win, but I think Hawaiis offense should keep it close. This is basically a showcase game for Brennan. If he gets time, the uga defense will be in trouble. (thats a big IF.)
and if Georgia goes up by 14 with 30 seconds left, I love this Hawaii team for a meaningless back door cover.
