I want to tell you fellas a little story I hear many moons ago in reference to Parleys. Goes something like this........
Joe shmo is on the road traveling on buisness. Before his "Red Eye" takes off across county he make a call to his local book.
Hello Book Man, it's me "Joe Shmo".
Book man, hey joe what the hell are you doing calling me at this time of night?
Joe Shmo "Book man, I'm on the road and I want to get a bet down on the early game tomorrow"
Book Man: Joe, it's 1:00 oclock in the fucking morning, I was fast asleep, and you call at this hour?
Joe Shmo: Please book man, Please it's just one bet, can you please take my bet?
Book Man: CALL BACK TOMORROW and don't EVER call me again at this hour!
Joe Shmo: But book man, I'm not sure if I'll be able to get to you tomorrow before kick off and....
Book Man: Damit Joe....
Joe Shmo: Book man, it's one lousy PARLEY that's it....
Book Man: Joe, did you say Parley? HOLD ON, LET ME GET MY PEN......
Bottom line fellas, it's hard enough to win one game let alone 2 or three. If you plan to survive long term don't parley.
