I read the book too and really liked it. The movie was good. Kevin Spacey is one of the best actors of our time.

I watched the book and saw the movie, as in most cases, the book was better. Its still a quality movie. I'm also a huge Spacey fan. The Usual Suspects was one of the best movies ever.

I recently watched the new Batman, and thought it was alright too. Maybe not all its hyped up to be, but again another B+ movie. Theres a movie out called Felon with Val Kilmer (who I can't stand) which was really under the radar with all the big summer hits that just came out which was really really good. I'd recomend catching that one if you get the chance.

They should have made this movie an "R" rated movie. It had a "kiddie & family fun "feel to it. It only made the Lawrence Fishburne smack down only look more fake. They should have added cursing and real life dialog. Also, real TNA instead of girls at strip clubs dancing in lingerie would have been more appropriate for Vegas too. Kate Bosworth is HOT! This movie was OK. Spacey was excellent as usual...

Also, I liked the book Busting Vegas a lot better. It seemed like that group had more skills.

I read Bringing Down the House and didn't love it, maybe I'll give that one a try. After seeing 21 I went to the MGM downtown and sat down at a blackjack table and tried to count the cards using the same system they did in that movie. Either I'm an idiot or thats a lot harder then it looks.

Read "Busting Vegas". What they were doing was even more impressive then counting cards...

Just got done watching this movie, not bad, but not great. Spacey is pretty great in all of his movies. I kept waiting for them to go to Monte Carlo and almost get shot but it never happened. Yes, read the book, the systems they were using for way more impressive than counting cards. Steering cards, cutting decks, etc... Crazy stuff. I'm heading to Vegas in September, maybe I'll start practicing my card counting skills now.

Steering cards, cutting decks, etc... Crazy stuff. You're thinking of 'Busting Vegas'. That's the book with the scene where the guy pulls a gun on them on the Monte Carlo golf course and the card steering and deck cutting techniques. They didn't base this movie off that book. They based it off 'Bringing Down the House' which was a lot more elementary then 'Busting Vegas'

Ah, then I haven't read this book. Your right, I was thinking of Busting Vegas. Now that would be a good movie.

That's what I was saying before. 'Busting Vegas' was a much better book and a very entertaining story. I read that book in like 3 days. I couldn't put it down. It was awesome the way they got their own plane and flew themselves down to AC.

The closest library with a copy of Busting Vegas is 47 miles from my house. There are 9 libraries closer then that one and every single one of them have Bringing Down the House. What are the odds of that???
