Hey Guys,

This morning Google was making some changes to their search engine rankings. It appears that after a lot of hard work, writig to Google over and over, and patience that I got some of the old search rankings back for this site. I see Cappersinfo.com popping up at Google on the first two or three pages for a lot of major sports betting related keywords. If these rankings hold up, this means we will be getting a lot of new members this football season and the traffic should spike. Which is good.

However, this also means more spammers and zorros. So, keep a close eye on all the new members and report all the non-sense. It should make for an interesting football season if these rankings hold.

It also means that I will have a little more leverage with the sponsors is getting more contests. How many would be interested in a contest with a few grand in betting money for a prize that requires a small $50 to $100 deposit into Bodog, DSI, or BetUS? I am just curious as I have to put together some football contests.

I'm always game for a good contest....I can't wait for the Power Points contest which is always my favorite.

As for a potential spike in future traffic, I don't think it's a bad thing at all. I think that people will gravitate towards new members that bring something insightful and different to the table. We've had a few good new people in the last 6 months or so too, which is hopefully a sign of things to come.
