I know its pretty much useless to provide reason and logic after the games are over, but these theories could apply to a few games in the future.

1. Barry Zito is not that bad. He was the laughing stock of the first half and rightfully so, he was terrible, but he's been way too good for way too long to stay terrible forever. He's been getting some ultra inflated lines in the second half and has strung together some quality pitching since the all star break.

2. I don't know how, and I don't know why, but the Washington Nationals are on fire. Been cashing on them for the last week or so. Needless to say they are getting some monster lines too. I'm just riding the wave.
