As for the power outage, "some says lightning struck some transmission lines causing power plants to be shutdown" of some sort. That's according to the honolulu advertiser (http://www.honoluluadvertiser.com/article/20081227/BREAKING01/81227052/1352?GID=bOb8zh76LXAh9PKr8JUXegTyImlIp+GFQOsvI7WM5 II%3D) or what they want us to believe. Who knows what really happened, but we're thankful that power is back on - haven't seen a place so dark and quiet since I was living in Asia when I was young.

Maybe Ill get lucky and come work out in the islands. Cant have power outages screwing up peoples internet access. :D
