Looks like scoring has finally started to pick up around the league. I bet we see a bunch of goals tonight, with this game being a likely candidate...
(NHL) Atlanta@Tampa Bay
2* Over 5.5 -110
The Lightining have the offense cranking right now. Their 4.33 GFA leads the NHL. They've scored first in each of their games so far this year, and we don't mind if a few first-period goals give this over an early boost. Martin St. Louis and Vinny LeCav are looking good, and both have had good success against the Thrash. For Atlanta, Kovalchuk and Kozlov have done very well in this series. Pasi Nurminen has good numbers starting all 5 games for Atlanta, and gets the call again tonight. Expect the Lightning to bloat his numbers a little, as his competition to this point has been unimpressive: Chicago, C-Bus, both New Yorks, and a Washington team that went cold after their first game. Nurminen has a 3.32 GAA and .877 SP in his career against Tampa. Khabibulin, usually very solid in net for Tampa, has had his troubles with Atlanta in the past. He has a 3.20 GAA and .888 SP through 7 games. Tampa is heavily favored here, and the over is 6-1 in their last 7 victories in this series. The over is 5-1 in the last 6 in this series with a posted total of 5.5 goals.
