It's been a little tough in the early part of this NHL season. A lot of unexpected developments. The under has been just about the only thing you can count on. Hope it doesn't let me down tonight...

(NHL) Philadelphia@Anaheim

2* Under 4.5 +110

The Ducks finally got into the win column last night, and it took a shutout to do it. Phily also played last night, and were shut out themselves for the second time this season. Giguere and the Ducks might have to be thinking shutout again, as their offense is at the bottom of the NHL right now. The new personnel aren't clicking, and have struggled for just 1.15 goals per game on 4.3% shooting. Phily is better, but still bad, with a 1.94 GFA and 6.9% shooting success. After Hackett took the loss last night, Robert Esche gets the call in net tonight. He has a very nice 1.73 GAA and .943 SP in 7 career games against the Ducks. He'll have to keep it that tight tonight, as the Flyers are again skating without some of their best wingers. The under is 7-0-2 in the last 9 the Ducks have played without rest. The under is 10-4 when the Flyers are without rest. The under is 13-2-3 when the Ducks are off a road win. The under is 10-4 in the Ducks' last 14 against the East. The under is 5-1-1 in Phily's last 7 on the road in the Pacific, and 18-5-2 in their last 25 overall versus the Western Conference.
