Cashed a big dog nicely on Sunday. Going with this good-looking total tonight...

(NHL) Chicago@Phoenix

2* Over 5 -110

It seems that the incredible rhythm Sean Burke had at the beginning of the season has disappeared. Maybe giving him the night off in Tampa was a bad idea, because it's been downhill from there. He was 3-0-0 before that, giving up just 2 goals. The Yotes have gone 0-3-2 since then, and Burke has given up 13 goals in his 3 starts. The team as a whole has a 4.40 GAA on their current slide, and has seen the over cash in each of their last 5 games. The D is allowing a ton of shots, and their PK is a miserable 76% at home. Six of the 7 PP goals they've allowed came on the Yotes' home ice. Since the Phoenix D has slipped, the O has started picking up the pace to the tune of a 3.75 GFA in their last 4 games. They have 13% shooting success at home this year, and a healthy 23.5% on the power play. Although he's done well against Phoenix in the past, Chicago goalie Thibault will have his work cut out for him, as the Hawks' D allows 34 shots per game. Chicago gets into big trouble on the power play. They already have 200 PIM this season, and have been short-handed a league-high 63 times. Their 13 PP goals allowed in the most in the NHL, and 11 of those came on the road. The Chicago offense had been cruising along with a 3.00 GFA in 3 games before running into Martin Gerber, but they should be able to get it going again tonight and stay competitive with the Yotes.

GL!
