Good luck tonight Louie. This game scares me though. 3 of 4 games so far has had the dogs winning outright. I see vegas having a favorite covering sometime even though I believe that Utah is the better team, especially with Best out. Although it goes against something I believe in during bowl season, (ranked teams getting points over non-ranked teams, if the dog is the ranked team, take the points) I just see something happening and a favorite covering before long. Either way, good luck my friend. :goodluck:
p.s. I could just say f-it and play the over again. I think that is a low number for these two teams.

Educator,
Don't worry about the over-abundance of dogs covering. I have seen nine straight dogs cover once in the bowls. One thing I have learned when betting bowl games; If you like the dog, take it and don't think twice. I probably won't bet a single favorite outside of the BCS games. This is exactly why I love betting the bowls. The public will never pick up on it either and they will continue pounding favorites.
One big reason that dogs tend to cover in the bowls is because the underdog usually feels disrespected and is playing for pride. The favorite on the other hand is usually playing in a bowl they think is beneath them as they have underachieved in the regular season. So the favorite also comes in a lot less motivated then the underdog. BYU and Wyoming are perfect examples of this.
SMU tomorrow!
Merry Christmas man!
