Somehow I failed to bump my annual "the Super Bowl is just one game thread"....Louie I thought about it this year after the game.
I love college hoops. It is the best and the first four days of the tournament are the greatest four days of the gambling year in my opinion. These conference tournaments provide some real wars too!!!
That being said, we as gamblers sometimes are very short sighted and see games only through the eyes of our action.
A substitute teacher in my high school challenged us to eat a hamburger plain one day. He explained that we only know what a hamburger with catsup, mustard, pickles, onion, mushrooms, etc. tasted like. I tried a plain hamburger and it was pretty damn good....now 30+ years later I still remember his lesson. Good for him. :)
College baskets are fun to watch and really exciting. Try to enjoy a game for the game even if you have action on it. Sometimes there are some great games and we as gamblers really miss the whole picture as we are narrow minded.
I'm not even saying don't bet, but try and take some time and appreciate the preparation and dedication these young players and their coaches have to the game.
Hope you all have great tournament success and look forward to participating with you all in the next few weeks.
