Again...I have a good friend who is a bookie...and is more then happy to share his consesnsus with me anytime I call him.

Here are his numbers for tonight as of now... LSU/Miss St.

Also note: Bookies do this weird thing in my area where you bet in terms of "times"....each "time" is worth $5....So, a "20 timer" is a $100 (110 to win 100) and a "40 timer" is a $200 bet (220 to win 200). Therefore, multiply everything below by 5 and that's the total action. Does anyone else's local guys do weird "times" thing?

His Total LSU @ Miss St. Action (as of 7:41pm ET)

LSU Action (Spread)

LSU -3.5: 1450

Miss St. Action (Spread)

Miss St. +3.5: 725

LSU Action (Moneyline)

LSU -160: 400

Miss St. Action (Money Line)

No Action

Total Action (Over Bets):

Over 49.5: 75

Total Action (Under Bets):

Under 49.5: 50
Under 50: 100

Usually it's a dime, and it's a multiple of $10 or $100. Never heard of a "time" but I do like all that LSU money. This is always good information to have, the public loses more then it wins. Especially guys who bet with bookies.

I don't feel good about Miss St. tonight at all...but I hope they step up...
