Hello all I am new to this I was wondering what the numbers were next to the record for example. 37 units is that how much you are up could you please help.. I really enjoy this awesome site thanks for allowing me in

Yes, most posters post a record (wins-losses-ties) and a unit amount for how much they're up or down. So BPD had 2 wins and 2 losses and he is up 0.37 units. A "unit" is a dollar amount that is different for each person. A unit depends on the person, it can be $5 or $1000. It's just to help you keep track of how much you're winning or losing during the season.

BPD's bet on Toronto tonight is +100, so he's risking 1 unit to win 1 unit. If they were -125 he'd be risking 1.25 units to win 1 unit. If they were +140 he'd be risking 1 unit to win 1.40 units.
