A Las Vegas sports handicapping provider sued in Clark County District Court to stop 16 online sports-betting entities
from "stealing" {my qoutes} and selling
the handicapping services and selections of its sports handicappers to their subscribers.
Global Sports Edge Inc., formerly known as Sports Entertainment, Inc., sued K.J. Sports.com,ConsensusOnline.com,SportsMonitor.com,B rianMac.com,Rocky's of Hawaii, Sports Den, Inside Info Plays, Gamblers World, Sports Consensus Online, Offshorebettor.com, Game Time Report,
Sports Just Sports, Big Green Machine,
Consensus USA, Consensus 900, and Sports Monitor.
Global Sports, which said it owns the tradenames Wayne Roots' Millionaire's Club, High Rollers Club, Chairman's Club, and Fortune 500 Club, Larry Ness,
Chet Coppock, Randy White, Big Al and Big Al's Sportsline, said the defendants improperly appropriated Global's proprietory information that it sells to subscribers.
SportsMonitor.com was also accused of defaming Global Sports when it claimed
Global Sports' founder Wayne Root is "ruthless", used questionable business practices and operates a "boiler room service."
The defendants could not be reached for comment on Global Sports' allegations.
