I absolutely despise the BCS, not only is there not going to be a true champion one more time this year, they have also allowed a Pitt team ranked 20th in the polls and 23rd in the dumb ass cpu rankings into the mix while snubbing the 4th ranked team, completely screwing Cal and Auburn. Cal a one loss team only by 6 points to USC....

GIVE US A FUCKING PLAYOFF SYSTEM LIKE YOU HAVE IN EVERY OTHER NCAA SPORT...NOT SOME FUCKING COMPUTERS DECIDING WHO SHOULD PLAY

Arguments....

1. Boise St's undefeated and they don't get a spot?
2. What about LSU, Louisville, Virginia Tech? No Spot?

All those teams are not going to be happy are going to want a chance to play for the National Championship. I'm not saying the BCS works but it's defenitly not as simple as "make a playoff" I'm just glad I don't have to come up with a solution.

Couldn't agree with you more, the BCS system truly sucks b/c Auburn should be playing for a National Championship! As for USC, they're going Orange because they blow the right people and run up the score. I hope the team plane takes a nose dive into the Mississippi River on their way to the Orange Bowl

As for the comment about Pitt, maybe they were not as flashy as Cal or some of the other teams ranked higher.............but PITT EARNED THEIR SPOT! Overlooked and underestimated from day one by WVU and BC who had a golden opportunity for a BCS spot and a Big East Title outright

Louisville is in by my rankings #7 ...Boise St is a tough call but somebody has got to be left out...they are right after Georgia in my rankings. LSU and Va Tech are also casualties

Exaclty. "In your rankings". But not everyone will agree with you. Especially the schools that are being shinibed. Nobody wants to be left out. That's why it's so hard.

i understand but schools get left out of the basketball tourny and its just bad luck for some deserving schools, but thats why every game counts and you gotta come to win every one of them, this is the only way you will get a true natl champ

If boise state was left out....well i really don't care. The problem is there is no definite # 1 team. A playoff would take care of that. I'd rather debate a team trying to get into the 8th spot of a playoff, than see Auburn left out of the bcs even though they steamrolled through the toughest conference in the country....and being a graduate of cal i'm so fucking pissed they didn't get into the bcs, yea they squeaked by smiss, but I recall texas almost losing to a school that is only on the map because of basketball.(kansas) God i'm angry...

I must admit, I am a little biased of the whole situation being an Auburn grad. But as an informed sports fan, as all of you guys are, I just can not understand how Oklahoma, who finished the season playing Nebraska (5-6), Baylor (does there record even matter), and Colorado (7-5, the entire Big 12 North is a joke) is a deserving No.2. I will give USC No.1, I think there is not another team in the country wtih their caliber of players, but I just can not justify see Oklahoma a solid No.2.

It made me absolutely sick to watch the BCS selection show on ESPn yesterday. I mean, Corso and Herbstreit hav been backing Auburn all year up until after the Alabama game, and thry flip flopped because they new that the BCS was going to vote for a USC/Oklahoma match up. And the commnet that Corso made saying that the BCS worked because the two best teams are plating is just absurd. I go back to what I said before, what has Oklahoma done that makes them a clear cut No.2 over Auburn, absolutley nothing. And I can not believe how many pollsters just kiss their ass. Oklahoma got the ass kicked by an SEC tema last year in the Sugar Bowl, and they did not even deserve to be there. The is the 2nd year in a row that the BCS has failed and awarded an overrated Big 12 once again. How many times does the Big 12 have to look bad before the country realizes that they are completely overrated. I am telling you this right now. USC beat Oklahoma by atleast 2 TDS.

look at what happened to the players when they saw the score of the USC game at the half...they had nothing to play for, no chance of getting in the natl title game

i can see it going either way in the sugar they could come out flat and upset and get beat or fired up and wanting to show everyone they deserve it
