I know it is probably based on your bankroll, but I've pretty much always based 1 unit = 100 bucks.

The reason I ask is that I have seen some posts here recently (Preacherman specifically) talking about laying 20 to 30 units on a single game. Huh?? Who does that? And those specific picks were losers....

I'm thinking even if I consider it a stone-cold lock (like anyone playing St. Bonaventure in college hoops), I'm not going to put up any more than 5 units.

What do you guys think?

For the record, I'm on UCLA -12.5 tonight for a measley 2 units.

HAHAHA

Bobtheicon.......I have been a little cold steak lately, but i am getting back on track. Usually 1 unit for me is approx 25$. Sometimes i do put more on the games that i really like. I basically post how many units i am going to put on a play to show others how much i like the game. 10 Units means i like the play, anything over that means i like it that much more. Sorry for giving u some losers as of late, but i am get on track!

:deal:

I'm not getting on you for not picking winners - I've been on a bit of a cold streak myself.

I'm just concerned about the 30 units here, 20 units there posting.... I don't have that kind of money to throw around.

Bobtheicon..........

I hear ya man, i have been having very profitable years in gambling the past couple of years in NCAAF and NFL mostly, thats the only reason i bet a little heavier. You have to remember that with gambling its not a race, its a marathon!!!
You probably arent gonna become a millionare gamling, but u can def. make a bunch of loot!
