I see that I did put 50-50 on Mertie M but when I read the thread the 50 place was missing. Thats why I came back on to edit. I wrote it but it didn't take.

Mike, I may be wrong but you do sound like you think that you will be paid those odds if the horses win.
Is that correct?

Fact of the matter is you will be paid what the final odds are on the tote board when the race starts. That is, after the public has bet the race.

Those two horses at 4-1 and 8-1 are giving you the program odds.
If they win....they may pay 4 bucks or 20 bucks...you have to watch the tote board.

Thanks for info. I was out at Hialeah race track a couple of time. Found it exciting. Didn't bet much. But won a couple of races. I Am just a rookie when it comes to the Horses. My passion is Football (pro) were I make my money. Any info from you would be well appreciated.

My "BIG" game is college football. If I'm still alive come the new season you will make a lot of money betting my win percentages.
