Thurs: Todays horses
Rained just about all night so I'm sure the races are coming off the Turf at Belmont. Maybe at Pimlico too.

The worse results I get is when they run on an "OFF" grass course. When its OK they will call it "FIRM". When its off they call it "SOFT". "SOFT" is where I don't do well. In fact....thats where REAL BIG LONGSHOTS COME IN. If you see it "SOFT" and you have a decent size field its time to go for it. BET ANY CRAZY BASTARD IN THE EXACTA'S AND TRIPLES. You may catch something like the 1.7 million pick 4 in the derby.

Hello Zorro.
I will be playing again. We made money yesterday. You are soooo right about time consuming. I can't imagine sitting at the track the whole day waiting to see if the odds are right. It is hard enough doing that at home. As I said in your other thread, I had to go out of town last night. You probably should not bet blindly, but there is always that fear of missing the big one. Well my foolish betting paid off big thanks to your picks at woodbine. The 1 dollar exacta was almost 50 bucks. I had it 15 times baby!!!!!
Don't get so mad when we don't respond! Sometimes our connection isn't as fast as that screaming fast Web TV! HAHAAHA Lets get some more today! THANKS!

Al, it is time consuming sitting watching boards all day, the hardest thing is not betting anything for sometimes an hour or more. Now when he does the form, take a friend, split the tracks and watch the boards and you both make money. It's alot of work and patience but it definitely pays off. With Z's picks lately I can't justify sitting at the OTB everyday, especially since I can't get there till 3 central which is when most of the races are already done. As I've said before, if the he does the entire form, drop whatever your doing and spend the day making money.
Zorro, good luck with the new grandchild, hopefully you'll have one by the end of the day.

Hey 67, I want to ask you something. Do you have a tax on horse prices at your OTB?
In NY, around 10 years ago, they started a tax. It comes right out of the horses price. If a horse pays 10:00 at the track, at OTB you get 9:20 Do you believe that? Only in NY my friends. 20 to win means instead of 100 bucks you get 92 bucks. 8 dollars to your new partner, the goverment. 100 to win you lose 40 bucks. That really is what has killed the tracks. At one time the take-out was 4%. In NY its 18% and 33% on exotic bets. The tax is killing the business. Thats why people have turned to casinos.

I think Zorro is correct. I am betting every camel I come across. I was watching the races yesterday and my 11 year old can run faster than that! There is still nothing funnier to me than to see a horse come in with no rider. I had the winner the other day with no rider, that wasn't real funny. Some claim that horses are very inteligent? Ya right. Those dummies don't even know there is no one still riding. If one of those nasty mules breaks loose, they just run like the wind in every direction. I think they are dumb, and the only thing they know is a bag of oats if they run around in circles!

20,000 scratches. 1st 7 4th 1 7th 6-9 Makes no difference anyway I don't bet them off the Turf. Those numbers are for "ON" the turf. We now have some great fields of 3 horses. The longshot in the race is 8-5 Tell me about doing this system. A lot of time, work, and having your balls busted.

Big AL, I hate to tell you this but they really fucked us over with that 2 horse at Pimlico.
He was around 8-1 I believe on the program. HE WAS ALL SET TO GO FOR IT TODAY ON THE TURF. Trainer had him alive and ready. Thats why he ran anyway on the dirt. Went off at 13:80 He would have been at least 10-1 on Turf....AND WE WOULD HAVE WON THAT FUCKING RACE. Ain't shit you can do about it. A very tough break. OK, I will say if the Turf was "soft" maybe we don't win.
