Lets Get This Together
I do like most of the picks on this thread. However, excluding Louie and grandmaster, there is a lack of insight in the picks. Is it possible that there is only one thread for Thursday night games, Friday night games, and finally Saturday night games. Some people on this forum seem so eager to give their picks, but no reason why. Then, there are those that just want to post their picks. C'mon fellas - This should not be a place to showcase your picks just to let all of us know what you are taking. Its like watching college gameday with Lee and Kirk. It should be more about why you like the pick. I have tried to explain my picks, and I liked grandmasters explanation as well, but there has to be reason. If I want to see what everyone is taking I will go to covers.com. If you do the research then let us know. Share the knowledge. This is a forum that everyone is privy to, but we are only privy to what you all provide. Then there is the issue with some people not reading previous posts about the same topic, asking similar questions that have been previously answered and restating things that have already been said. All I ask is that take time to be apart of this or dont be apart of it at all. If you dont have anything to say dont feel obligated and just read and add some value to this already fabulous place for a culmination of knowledge. Lets get it together guys. This is a forum that has a lot of knowledge and experience - only better things to come. Best of Luck this year to you all.

I agree with some of what you are saying, but I think you ought to have more than a few posts on this board before you start telling people what they should and should not post. You have a total of 14 posts and you want to criticize those for how they post and what they have or have not read? Post your plays and your reasons and perhaps you will find what it is you want. You may be a great capper, I don't know, but I don't think you've earned the right to call others out like that.

trotter,
You make a good point but you have to see where everyone is coming from. I have provided no analysis with my plays. Therefore, I don't understand why you believe that my plays are more insightful then everyone else's. I do the reseach and post my plays along with everyone. If a player wants to provide a solid writeup with their plays, it's a big bonus. Some of the posters on here have been providing analysis with their plays for a while now. We have some dedicated handicappers here. Just try to relax and prove yourself to be a solid handicapper here. From what I have seen, you have done some good. Stick with it and try to enjoy the company. Welcome to the boards.

Phenom22 and Louie, and all others who decide to read this through, I am just trying to raise the bar here. The point that I am trying to make is that we are all trying to win some wicked cash. Phenom22, you are right, my 14 posts dont qualify me as a pro. But, I have always in any of my own threads explained why I choose what I am playing. I encourage everyone to raise the bar. For my lack of posts, I can only prove myself through my picks. This forum is the only one that I have found and it has a lot of potential. I do not want to come off as a pompus ass, but it only takes a few minutes to write a little bit and read some other threads. So, if its possible to all collaborate with a variety of knowledge, this season can only get better. I like to share anything I know about games, and I am not always right, but there is at the least a reason why I place my bets. Just a little time and patience from others is all I ask (all star members to seasonal prospects). Good luck and happy lines.

Trotter, thanks for the insight and I believe in the same as well at times. The only thing about myself is that I go through a routine in the beginning of the day/week.
I start on Tuesday with a quick read in the lines and what I like. I then begin a thread trying to get all the others insights that i can get while adding my own.
On Sunday I go through my final prep before i read anyones threads and i go with my plays. I list them and I do a write up on maybe my POD or my SNF or MNF plays. I dont write them all up due to the writing before hand on my other thread. Plus i believe that after capping successfully the past two seasons here in the NFL, I do not need to post why i like a certain play. I have guests that look at this sight for my plays and a couple others that we have here in other sports due to our winning percentage (louie in MLB, NFLminnow in NHL..etc)
Good luck and please feel free to post in my weekly NFL WEEK BREAKDOWN threads.
Thanks for the TSB support.
