I'm not sure what was tougher to watch....the horse suffering that injury on the track, or having to watch the horse limp around when (barring a miracle) it was going to have to be put down anyway.
Ya, last I heard he was recovering well, but I guess on Thursday he developed Laminaitis in his non-injured leg. One of the vets said he was so strong at the time of his injury, that any other horse would have had to been put down on the spot.
