I don't feel like voting...
Call me ignorant, but I just don't feel like standing in line and voting for another group of candidates that will accomplish nothing worthwhile or do anything but stick this country further and further into debt while doing favors for the people that got them elected.
There is only one Pennsylvania candidate that actually has done anything to show they support the legalization of online gambling. That's (D) Joe Sestak who is running for senate.
If any of you guys tell me what state you are in or (city and state), I will tell you which congressional candidates in your state (or city) are showing support or taking action against the UIGEA (Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act)...

I'm not voting either, the campaigns in my area have been horrible, constant ripping on each other. Wish one of them would tell me what they want to do, not what the other candidate has not done.

You know what, I agree completely Lou. I just don't care anymore, I have better things to do today. I'm not going to give up on voting, it's just that I was hoping that the '08 election would be different, and it turns out to be more of the same shit we've been fed for years.

And I don't know about you guys in other states, but here in Detroit I have never seen so many negative TV ad's or so many ad's period in an election in my life. An entire commercial break now is just campaign ads lined up for 90 seconds, it's sickening. It's gotten to a point to where my nephew can recite the ad's verbatim (which is probably not good for him).

You can't watch a Network TV channel without seeing 5 ads during a commercial break. Some of them are positive, but mostly scare tactics. I'm glad that's over after today.

Hardly any in my area are postive, they just attack each other over and over. Stupid.

Last time I voted I got suckered into jury duty. 8 hours of boredom for $20. Plus I had to buy my own lunch. Never again...under any circumstances will I vote. "let me get this straight...you took all the money you made franchising your name, and bet it AGAINST the Harlem Globetrotters?!"
