Broadcasts on iPhones? Slingbox?

Fellow forum chums, anyone know of any sites that do free broadcasts of college or pro games that are iPhone compatible? And also, does anyone have or know some one who has a slingbox? I am thinking about buying one, but am looking for a personal review before I fork over the 180 bucks. It sounds like it would be perfect for me working nights with no internet, but I am skeptical. Feedback would be greatly appreciated, thanks

I downloaded the veetle app and there s never anything on there. U talking veetle.com? I haven't really tried that. It's iPhone compatible? And yes VERY desperate. Especially with thurs and fri night college ball.

There's a watchESPN app (just search that in appstore) that works well on my iphone and you can watch any ESPN channel LIVE including the online streams on ESPN3...and it's free. Works well with WIFI and even with reg cell service, although must buffer occasionally. A must have.

Also have a friend with the slingbox and says it's primo...just like being at home, can use DVR, watch NFL Sunday ticket and everything. Also, just a one time payment, no subscription monthly fee crap.

u can't use the watchespn app unless ur a cable subscriber.

JustinTV works for pro football and all types of TV. It has a one time fee of like 4.99 I think it was. I use the ESPN app for most college ball. I use it thru my local cable provider

I've tried the espn app but my cable provider is not on the list. Just got an iphone 4s for my wedding anniversary(fu**ing sucks, my wife of course busts out a sweet gift and i have no clue what to get her.) I actually thought she got me sling box, but no such luck. THinking i'll be going that route at some point. I saw ATT has a an app to watch live tv with espn and a handful of other stations, it has a 10.99 monthly fee though.

Already did the watch. She has a tag and Gucci, no more watches. Thx though, went with perfume and some sexy undies. Returned the undies the next day. She wanted apple tv. B-day coming up in a couple weeks so I think I already know what to get for that. Just hate buying stuff we don't need. Women don't seem to have a problem with it though.
