The government is trying to control the internet. Our government has no right to censor the internet. Majority of Americans are AGAINST this bill. However, Congress doesn't care and apparently neither does the president; Congress is pushing this through (despite lots of public outcry against it) and the creator of the bill (hollywood's puppet in congress), Lamar Smith (R-Texas) said he "expects the president to sign the bill" when it gets to his desk.
Also, the bill is so extremely vague that it give the government the power to control the internet. Think what the internet will become when other countries follow our lead here. The internet will die a slow death. Read more about this and see why America is against this bill (which the Senate is about to vote on). It's going to kill small businesses on the web (not to mention kill online sports betting as a whole)
