Annual Poster Award Titles & Ideas...

I am looking for ideas for poster awards at the end of the year. Need some topic suggestions.

I think we will do anonymous voting for these awards. The mods will privately announce the candidates and all Cappersinfo Player Members (100 posts or more) vote in December thru January and winners will be announced a week after the superbowl.

There will be prizes to the award winners (along with a small badge or tiny ribbon to put in the signatures). Something small (as far as a prize) for the first year and perhaps more as we continue to grow. I think think stuff like this will continue to set our community apart from the others.

Here are a few that I have come up with...I would like to have a max of 10....

1.. ROY - 2012 Rookie Poster of the Year - Given to a new member who joined in 2012 (before September) and shown a dedication to the forum in his first year (Posters Who Joined After September 1st, are considered rookies for 2013).

2. MCP - Most Consistent Poster in 2012 - Give to the member who has been most consistent. Always there to make sure picks are posted and always there to give insight or advice when requested.

3. MPP - Most Profitable Poster of the Year - Given to the member who was the most profitable and was most successful with their picks.

4. HWM - Hardest Working Poster - Post of who spends the most time researching and studying the ins and outs of the games, tracks systems, and shares all their information knowledge.

5. MAP - Most Appreciative Poster - Poster who has shown the most appreciation to this site; by either donation to the forums, congratulating and thankig members for winners, referring new members, and anything else to hwo appreciation to the Cappersinfo.com community.

Let me know what you guys think. Which ones you like and don't like. I've always wanted to do something like this. With the rapid growth of the forums in 2011, I think 2012 may be the best season to start the new awards.

Negative and Positive opinions are appreciated (as long as it's constructive)

Good idea. For most most profitable, will that require record keeping and unit tracking. I personally think people should track their records but I know some don't.

Maybe one for funny or entertaining posts? Or one for a specialist, who dominates one particular sport

Clearly...not gonna nominate someone who doesn't keep track of their records...

May select the the Hall of Fame and Legend members to choose nominations....
