For someone that gets paid more than the entire team combined, A.Rod sure fucked up today, basically giving the red sox the game in the 9th inning..

Dont get me wrong, I bet on the Red Sox, but A.Rod fumbles the ball to give the game away in such a crucial time in the game??!?

No man is worth the money he gets paid, especially when no one can be perfect.. That looked like a rookie error and it was enough to cost the yanks the game today..

Ya the money is great, but is it worth getting those few extra million to have to put up with the media bullshit he takes for every error, and his teammates can not be happy when a guy gets paid 30 times what they do, and he fucks up an easy play to BLOW the game against their main rival..

I say get back to the past time, and put a reasonable cap on these bozo's!

yesterday the media wasnt even talking about the game winner by Jeter they were talking about Rivera blowing it earlier...i wonder what the story will be tomorrow Arod or Rivera again

A Rod was already getting blasted today by Jim Rome, The NY Media is going to go nuts on this guy...i mean c'mon, its NY MEDIA!!! I don't blame Rivera as much as i do Torre. the Bo Sox are killing Rivera, i wouldn't have even let him be the closer, he can't save shit vs the Sox, yet he still gets thrown in there. Jeter and the Yankee crew can't save him every time. I hate the Yankees, i'm glad they lost, id rather lose money on them and see them lose then win.

You're Exactly right on both things!

1st - Rome is a TOOL!!! i can't stand this guy and he thinks he is royalty, i swear there are so many other people that can get paid as good as him and do 100% better job...ala you or me! This guy is bad...i do however like the Latenight Game Time React with the Brick...now if Rome could read this, Learn from the Brick on how to do Talk Radio.

2nd - Noone defended A-Rod when he was questioned by the Bo-Sox. The Yanks were "professional" about it and didnt want to stoop to Boston's level. Atleast thats what i heard...If they said something about Jeter, you KNOW the Yanks would have been all over the Red Sox!

i still have an old espn magazine article from a year before he was going to be a FA...the title of the article is "Is this baseballs first $100 mill man?"....wait no, some jackass is going to give him 250 mill....i just dont buy it now and i didnt buy it then that he said he was all about the money, the yanks wont win another title till he is gone and they focus on putting together a team like they had in the 90's before they started just getting the "best" players out there for the most money...
